As a break from the flaming, if you're serious about learning to develop, go to the main XDA development thread and start grabbing the tools. The Kitchen is a must have, apktool, manager, dex2jar, smali/baksmali. Grab a base Rom and start playing with that. Ports are far more involved, so cut your teeth on the basics first.
Good luck.

I guess that depends on your definition of port. I'm relatively certain that less than 10% of the system partition in Bamf is thunderbolt. Sounds like a pretty complete "port" to me.

I realize in my own testing that Wifi tether FCs as well as selecting volume from sound settings.. For now use root file manager to delete Wifi Tether and re-install or use stock Tether app. As for Volume just use your volume buttons lol. Both will be fixed in the next release
Sounds good. Neither should be a problem for me as I always use my volume buttons and I don't tether. thanks for the heads up though!
Edit: just saw link downloading now.

At this point does this Rom have anything the other AOSP roms don't?
I like to see AOSP. Very exciting to see more developing with it.
Its kind of a blend of cm7 and Team Xrons. I took what I liked out if both of them while trying to maintain as much stock aosp as possible eg. no adw. I am working on a Miui port and also may be close to nailing down what's causing the Bluetooth problem. I could use help with that actually. Hopefully this is the first of many to come as I learn more and more. Also expect a custom kernel from me soon!

Whats working-
Touchscreen (Problem, Have to use 2 fingers, will be fixed)
Multi-touch
Audio
Network (Some Problems)
Bluetooth (Some Problems)
Whats not working-
3G Audio
Download Link will be posted later today.
That's a decent list of working functions. Thanks for giving this a go =P.
Are phone functions working? Calling, SMS, etc. And why is audio listed under working and nonworking?
Thank you Enyo! I'll give this a shot once 3G gets working

How about reading the title of the thread and the first sentence of the OP? It's not even possible to have anything more than an SDK port right now since we don't have source.

I'm more than aware of what it says in the OP, I have eyes. I asked the question because the Ice Cream Sandwich thread on the General board just made it seem like it was more than just an SDK port. It's still definitely an exciting development, no doubt.

Let me begin with stating my admiration for all devs. I can't do it. I have neither the knowledge nor the patience.
That being said, it seems all the new ROMs have to have three or more ROMs combined. Sometimes bigger is not better.
I would love to see an updated pure AOKP ROM for our device. We haven't had one since DAGr8 left for the Note II. AOKPs Ribbons are kick ass! I like them much better than PIE. You can set the ribbons to stay open and they don't disappear as soon as you lift your finger......and the long swipe to open the app drawer is great.
If you haven't seen them, here are a couple of screenshots of my N7.

So, I'm thinking about trying to port a stock ROM for the Verizon s4 to the DNA. Why you guys think? Just an idea.
Sent from my dlx using xda app-developers app
I assume it will be hard and take lots of time and testing. More so than an HTC port since it's a Samsung device and they run different hardware. Some stuff may not ever work. The s4 has many features one would miss out on if ported to a DNA. Touchwiz would be nice to see because of it's fluidity and snapiness. That's something that sense has always lacked in my eyes.
Good luck with that.
Please do it!!!!
