An update of the app fixed the problem.

use an alternate facebook app such as flow
ok here i got it myself if anyone else is having force close on facebook app after the update which according to the comments on the android market is pretty common this is a better version and works fine

Actually I can use facebook 1.5.3 without any problems on 2.2. However I encounter FC with CM7
Luckily it was updated as there are many complaints

HBO Go was released, but I can't seem install it on my Vibrant. The Market doesn't list it when I search, and the market's web interface says my device isn't supported when I try to install it. Is anyone else having this issue? I can't seem to find a list of the devices HBO is allowing to run the HBO Go app.

I understood, i was just giving people a link if they were interested.
I searched it in the market and it installed perfectly. Not certain what's wrong for you man. I don't have hbo so I am uninstalling it now.
I am on the latest Trigger if you want to try it.
What rom are you using?

Just got an EVO View 4G, mostly because I love Netflix and it doesn't appear it will show up in my Honeycomb 3.1 Xoom anytime soon. Sad to say, though, I can't get it to work on the View -- Netflix loads (more that it will do on Xoom) but when I select any video it churns for awhile then reverts to the original selection screen. Anyone with a View got it working?
Been working for me since I picked up the view Friday morning.

He meant the HTC update that brings the phone to 2.3.4. Just go to settings, System Update, HTC Software Update. After you do the OTA update, Netflix should start connecting (at least it did for me).

Send your email and I'll send you the Netflix. Apk it will work on your view just use any explorer to install the. Apk file after you download it open it with your file explore app click install and your good
Now if HBO would fix HBO Go for 2.3.4.

I had that problem with v003 but i just uninstalled and reinstalled hoping it would work and it did. All my facebook contacts disappeared as wellbut ater reinstall and login they were restored

i have the same problem with facebook i use GingerDX v003
I had the same issue. Reinstall GingerDX and it will fix the problem. If it doesn't send report to author, but it should work after reinstalling the rom.
I have no problems with Facebook and GingerDX. Works fine.

I had problem with facebook app that didnt want to start. Now after full wipe that problem is solved. Now I try to open Navigon but it wont start! just the same problem like the fb app. Is that a bug in this version to work on or is it something else I have to do?

I just passed to v005 and it is just fine with everything...
fine with me though...
Confirmed working on GingerDX v005 and v006. I simply installed the FB app from the market and that was all.
Use Facebook Ver 1.60. Its work for me
plss try a full wipe to ur phone..mine is just working fine..
works fine, GDX 008.
notifications also work fine, i've installed the app on phone memory
If the facebook app crashes, use this from ADB or Terminal Emulator
rm -r /data/com.katana.facebook
alternatively just clear facebook's data.

Navigon doesn't work with any cm7. I've tried all roms. Can anyone confirm IT?

I initially had problems with the facebook app. After a full wipe the issues were resolved on GingerDX 0.13. As for Navigon that doesn't work for me either (Using CoPilot that works, Sygic doesn't work btw), but shouldn't you have your own thread for that question?
But you could try Friendcaster or FBabble.

Had this on my former SGS1 too. Eg. is Yahoo mail shown as installed even though it has never been on my new SGS2 only on my old one.

Yeh, it does that for some reason, you can install them just by hitting the button that says installed (would normally say install) it will install OTA like normal.
