[Q] Can't access my root directory - Vibrant Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
Im trying to root my vibrant 4g but when i connect it to my pc i cannot access the internal memory, just the SD card.
Anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks

You're in the wrong section, it's the galaxy s 4g, they never made a vibrant 4g. This is the vibrant 3g section, 2 totally different phones.

4g on a 3g Samsung Vibrant T Mobile

Hey guys, noob here, and I just recently flashed a ROM I found on Xda that supposed to be just like the droid razr. I am loving the ROM but something is confusing me. Sometimes my phone shows 4g LTE in the status bar when my phone should only be getting 3g from T Mobile. I checked on the guys page and I can't find anything on the subject. Is it possible that my phone is getting 4G coverage?

I highly doubt it since the vibrant only supports 3g now as for the t959v thats the 4g varient of our vibrant with a different modem if memory serves me right.
Though I have noticed my 3g speeds down right blow past my sidekick4g's speeds but ofcourse that might just be due to it being a sidekick4g >.>

No, i know what ROM you are talking about. It is a port from the Razr and the Razr has 4G LTE. When it says 4G LTE on the Vibrant it means you have 3G.
Thanks guys I appreciate the responses that's what I was thinking but just wanted to make sure!

Samsung Admire CDMA Sprint?

Have recently inherited a Samsung Admire SCH-R720, running android 2.3.4.on the Cricket network. I have done much research and have gotten it rooted with CWM. I have found little to no information on XDA, but I want to know that since the phone is CDMA, and I believe connects to the sprint network, is there a way to change it so I can use it on the sprint network?
Attached a dump generated by Mobile Odin.
Haven't found such info myself but there's tons more help for the admire at androidforums or abcindicate

[Q] 4g on original unlocked vibrant?

This might be a dumb question but I haven't been able to find an answer. Is it possible to use a 4g sim card (AT&T or T-Mobile) on an unlocked Samsung vibrant? My vibrant is currently rooted running CNA 3.6.5 with KA7 modem. Anyone?
Edit: Never mind, I'm pretty sure I found a post that says its not possible.
Just to clear something up, the sim card has nothing to do with the data speed.

mini SIM card for Vibrant?

Hello, while I've rooted & ROM'd around with 2 Nook Colors, this will be my first actual smartphone (T-959V unlocked on it's way from ebay.)
I'm planning on rooting it & also signing up for a TMo plan thru Walmart. According to gsmarena, spec for this phone the sim card is a "mini sim".
I cannot for the life of me find mini sim cards (or adapters) via numerous searches. The TMo store I went to was no help, trying to talk me out of signing thru Walmart with horror stories of poor reception no support etc
How do I find a mini sim for TMo?
wow 49 views & zero replies...this is a tough room .
Anyways, the one I got turned out to be the right size after all.
Just to help you avoid any problems, the t959v is not the same phone as a vibrant t959. Your phone is a 4g phone and will not work with vibrant roms. You should look in galaxy s 4g forums.
