Hi,
Recently i tried to install the custom ROM "RebornROM v2.1". In that process i bricked my LG Optimus one. After that i installed v1oe official rom using KDZ. now it's working fine. But my kernel version showing is "2.6.32.9 [email protected]#1" , How can i change this to my official one. My official one is like this "[email protected]#1".
And now when i restored my original v20c india version using CWM recovery, the SIM Card didn't detect. I think the problem is kernel.Help me any one. Thank You.
nope, the problem is with baseband bcoz V10 baseband is for stock 2.2 , 2.1 and V20 baseband is for stock 2.3
follow picture guide to upgrade your baseband to V20 and you will have your sim detected and gsm working on your original v20c india version

Ok...here is some info about my phone right now.
Rom: CyanogenMod 9.0.0 - RC0 - p500 Kang
Kernel: stock LG Phionix gingerbread/icecream sandwich kernel (2.6.35.7)
Android version: 4.0.3
BaseBand version (i have stock android 2.2 old baseband) V07u-000-000-MAR-23-2009
OK, you are probably wondering how i got a new baseband rom to work on old baseband, well its the new baseband kernel that fixes the color issue that the baseband causes on my lg thrive. but i want to run the miui port for p500, the thing is, it is new baseband, and it does have the same color problem that i can fix using the kernel, but then the keyboard stops working if i dont use franco's kernel which does not fix the color issue. i know if i update to new baseband the color issue will stop, and i can flash franco's kernel and it will fix keyboard.
how do i update the lg thrive baseband to new baseband, i am rooted and do not have my stock rom, and i dont have it as a back up eaither.
so what do i do and how do i do it.
Hello to all the great community,
Generally: I want to install miui v5 on my mobile (LG P700 or L7) but i have previously installed (2 months ago) the kitkat 4.4.2 version with the v20f baseband.
The problem: The problem is that in order to install miui v5, i must have baseband v10k on my mobile..
The question is: Can i flash the older, v10k, baseband on my mobile via, only, the cwm, as described here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2335273 ??
I forgot to mention that i've already installed miui v5 ported on my phone!
Thank you,
Gigi

Are you using the stock rom? What version of Android do you currently have?
Have you tried flashing first the KDZ file that maxx_hr has? It is very nice that it's the stock kdz from LG but only modified to have root access, and unlocked bootloader. The rest remains untouched so you can have a very close experience in the stock Kitkat 4.4.2 BUT... with root :good:
*P715 V20A OPEN ESA (India)*
*P715 V20A CIS by vvitaly*
Search one rooted kdz prepared for flash here: Various Rooted Kiktkat KDZ.
Then you can use the custom recovery to flash another ROM. I don't have the Dual-Sim so I can't suggest an specific one but having root and a custom recovery... just backup your files and try everything haha
When i try new 5.0.2 roms iose wifi and cell.
Is it possible to backup my currect modem info so i can use / import that information
Into a new rom?
