[Q] How to update LG Thrive to new BaseBand - Optimus One, P500, V General

Ok...here is some info about my phone right now.
Rom: CyanogenMod 9.0.0 - RC0 - p500 Kang
Kernel: stock LG Phionix gingerbread/icecream sandwich kernel (2.6.35.7)
Android version: 4.0.3
BaseBand version (i have stock android 2.2 old baseband) V07u-000-000-MAR-23-2009
OK, you are probably wondering how i got a new baseband rom to work on old baseband, well its the new baseband kernel that fixes the color issue that the baseband causes on my lg thrive. but i want to run the miui port for p500, the thing is, it is new baseband, and it does have the same color problem that i can fix using the kernel, but then the keyboard stops working if i dont use franco's kernel which does not fix the color issue. i know if i update to new baseband the color issue will stop, and i can flash franco's kernel and it will fix keyboard.
how do i update the lg thrive baseband to new baseband, i am rooted and do not have my stock rom, and i dont have it as a back up eaither.
so what do i do and how do i do it.

[Q] Noob question about to updating to 2.2

My xperia specs are:
X10a
Firmware: 2.1-update1
Baseband 2.0.46
Kernel version 2.6.29
Build # 2.0.a.504
I want to know which roms are compatible with my device pls
Another question
If I update my Android version, can I download the 2.2 market apps?
Android 2.2
I recommend CM 6.1.3 [V006] [13-05-11] [Tweaked+Theme+Extras] (Android version 2.2.1)
I use this ROM and is very happy
yeah but since your baseband is 46 for CM 6.1.3 [V006] [13-05-11] [Tweaked+Theme+Extras] you'll need patch which is on its first post
you can also try Cobrato's MIUI:

fast & stable & it should work on 46 without patch

[q] 2.1.58 -> 2.0.49

I am currently on the 2.1.58 baseband and running a 2.2 custom ROM. The ROM I want to flash requires a .49 baseband. I know that I can use the baseband patch, but I would rather flash the custom rom from a clean install. Would there be any problem in flashing an original SE ROM with the .49 baseband and then flashing the custom ROM?

[Q] How to Change Kernel to Official one?

Hi,
Recently i tried to install the custom ROM "RebornROM v2.1". In that process i bricked my LG Optimus one. After that i installed v1oe official rom using KDZ. now it's working fine. But my kernel version showing is "2.6.32.9 [email protected]#1" , How can i change this to my official one. My official one is like this "[email protected]#1".
And now when i restored my original v20c india version using CWM recovery, the SIM Card didn't detect. I think the problem is kernel.Help me any one. Thank You.
nope, the problem is with baseband bcoz V10 baseband is for stock 2.2 , 2.1 and V20 baseband is for stock 2.3
follow picture guide to upgrade your baseband to V20 and you will have your sim detected and gsm working on your original v20c india version
