[Q] My SGA cant boot successfully.... - Galaxy Ace S5830 General

I have a problem here.....
At first, i download a theme from here....after i have apply it through the recovery mood i found that it makes my SGA lag. i try to disable the theme trough setting but not successful as the setting icon disappear. I have try to restart so many times but still the same.
Once again i boot in recovery mood and choose wipe data.....and boot my SGA again......
By now, my device cant boot successfully now, it juz shows the samsung logo at last and the action of reboot just repeat over over and over...
What should i do now? could anyone help me?

hes not talking about stupid kies backup, its cwm backup. boot into cwm via home+power button, then just do restore

yeah if you have a cwm backup, restore it using recovery mode, if you dont then you'll have to flash your firmware again by odin

yeah it is rebooting all the i have no back up at all. how can i flash to new rom?
hi all,
Big thank for ur effort to help. Finally i got bak my tab to work. I jux flash to stock firmware by Odin. now got an experiance.... Will play more n learn more
a factory reset will not work, as all it does it wipe /data and /cache, framework-res is in /system, which is not touched by a data wipe.
the solution (which you have found on your own) is to flash a rom (even the same rom you're on) as it will rewrite the /system data which includes framework-res.
the reason flashing a theme was suggested is because themes also contain the framework-res.apk, and flashing a theme will not result in any data loss.
i hope this helps clear up some confusion and any animosity

[Q] bought and bricked galaxy ace please help

I rooted my phone successfully and was installing fonts from fontchanger app from the market. When the download was 95 % I got error samsung home has crashed and home screen was gone.
I removed battery put it again and restarted the phone but it is stuck at GALAXY Ace GT-S5830 SAMSUNG.
I am able to boot into system recovery mode but after factory reset phone still stucks at above mentioned point. Is it hard bricked and not recoverable ? Please please tell me the solution. This is my first android phone (
I hope I posted this in the right subforum.
Your device is not bricked. You said that you are able to boot into recovery, so all you need to do is flash a new rom.
How to flash it ? Where can I get new rom ?
See here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1263292.
so i copy rom.zip to sd card, boot into recovery and select update from sdcard.. thats it ? I didnot install clockward recovery. Please reply.

So since you can get into download mode, why not just flash your stock rom using odin?

Nandroid. If you have ClockworkMod installed, then you can perform a nandroid backup of your device. It creates a backup of your entire system and data which you can then later restore (just that it won't be in one file as you described; they will be a the same folder as separate img files e.g data.img, system.img, etc.). If your device is in a bootloop for example, you can simply boot into recovery and restore a previous backup and your device will be fine again.

Install cwm custom recovery from here:
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2057511
This is only a custom recovery, it will not fix your phone, it's a step towards fixing it.
What version of Android were you using? Asking because to tell you which rom to flash I will need to know which rom you had previously.

i dont know for sure...i want to install nandroid manager but i cant install any app..
I guess I am confused on where you are at with this then. Typically when someone says they have a nandroid, they completed a full back up via their custom recovery. First thing to try when this happens is to restore the nandroid backup via the same recovery. Are you not able to boot into CWM anymore as well?

K, well if it does boot up into the OS, then you should be able to use the command: adb reboot recovery - and see if that will kick you back into it to restore.
If that doesn't work, then you'll have to do a full restore probably.
Here's the official software from their site:

samsung galaxy in boot loop(twrp)

i installed cm13 custom rom in my s3 then with twrp. it worked fine then i factory reset my phone then it starts with twrp screen and screen flashes and again twrp screen comes(screen with twrp written not options).i can just go to odin mode. what to do now
please help!!!!!
Never factory reset from a custom ROM. It is recommended to do it from recovery. Your reset has wiped too much including important parts of the OS. Flash another copy again.
I tried to downgrade my galaxy r but i cant and i am stuck into twrp.PLEASE HELP ME TO FIX THIS!!!

Maybe it is just loading? If after waiting for 5 mins. can you enter recovery? If not can you enter download mode? If yes then download a copy of the stock rom from here and flash it via ODIN.

ive got this problem with my s3 so can i ask on here?
How do I get into Odin mode? Every time I try to hold power, home and volume down it just flashes the Samsung logo and then goes into recovery when I release the buttons, no download mode
EDIT: just solved it. Seems I didn't press the volume button "down" enough.
