I have a problem with the Acer Liquid Mini, after an update the phone is switched off, and now it doesn't boot! When I try to initialize, the acer logo appears and stays eternally!
Any solution? Has this happened to anyone?
I tried press the "Power on + Camera + Volume down" but does not work, supposed to do hard reset but does not work. Could it be because the battery is less than 40%?
May have to go for warranty
Thanks to whoever can help

The old of tenfars?
You need to plug your device to wall charge, and then manually restart your phone! Or choose reboot in cwm apk of tenfar..

Hold down the power button while taking a piss on it, then not more than 5 seconds after that hit it with a wrench a couple times.
When you power the phone up hold power and down volume at the same time. Fastboot will show up on the screen, let go of power and press volume down a few more times until Motorola Recovery shows up, then press the volume up button to enter recovery. CWM should take over from there.

Install Deodexed ROM in recovery or flash stock firmware with Odin.

If you are correctly pressing the combination for recovery (volup+home+power) or download mode (volup+voldown+power) and still not getting into recovery or download modes then I am guessing that you tried Ace GT-S5830 custom ROM (or any other incompatible one) on Ace-i GT-5830i, and your phone is not recognizing the key combinations. In that case, as domnic79 said your phone is bricked, and if USB jig is not working, the only way is to either claim it in warranty or use the JTAG method to unbrick your phone. If you somehow successfully get into download mode; use odin to flash multifirmware stock rom from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1822109

Any phone going into Odin mode is salvageable. Just use Odin and flash away. Make sure you do it right. I would recommend you read tutorials and do it step by step. All the best, let us know how it goes.

Maybe the version you used via Odin had a region lock. How about try flashing a rom and then see if you get signal???

Can you boot into the bootloader?
To enter bootloader, hold volume UP and power.
Upon entering the bootloader, you will notice that there is no 'menu' to enter fastboot or recovery. Unfortunately, since the stars didn't align properly, we were unable to tell the new bootloader where to load the images that contain the menu from.
In light of that, you'll have to navigate the menu blind. Use the volume keys to change selection, and the power key to select.
The choices are (in order of pressing volume down):
Start - boot the phone normally [already selected]
Restart Bootloader - reboot into the bootloader
Recovery Mode - enter recovery (CWM)
Power Off - powers the phone off
So, to get to Recovery, you would press volume down twice then power.
Thanks I'll try that out will post results shortly

I tried that nothing comes up even while blind navigating nothing happens tried rebooting into both recovery and bootloader from the power down options and nothing other then this problem the phone works all except both Wi-Fi 4g Data but both were working when I first flashed the ROM

Also when trying to go directly into the bootloader from when the phone is turned off its nothing but a black screen
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
If you have the android-sdk boot into the rom, and try the command
adb reboot bootloader
or
adb reboot recovery
Ok I'll give that a shot I'll try it out when I get off work.

Was your phone connected to computer while trying to enter download, and does your computer recognize that you have connected to it? Sorry if these sound like obvious questions but trying to rule out what we can.
Yes my phone was connected while trying to go into download mode. And when I plugged my phone into my computer it does recognize it.

I would ask for help in irc maybe ping Shelnutt or autoprime. I was going to suggest running freegee again to see what happens, bit am not sure if that would be risky. Wish I had a better answer.

Phone should not be connected to your computer until your have the program running and the volume buttons pressed. So does your phone say download mode on screen ? You said your computer recognize it, does the program recognize it ?

Nothing comes on the screen when I try to go into download mode just a blank screen like it's off no backlight or anything. The program does show something when the phone is connected but still didn't work.

While the phone is on I turn it off and then while it's completely off I hold both volume keys and press the power button. When I do that nothing comes up not even the boot screen.

Hi guys. Just flashed sgp321 firmware on my sgp311 device. Now the led wint even turn on when i connect my charger. Cant fet into download or flash mode.. any advice besides sending it back?
Sent from my GT-I9505 using XDA Free mobile app
Solved.. if any of you make the same mistake: to enter flash mode, connect the tablet to pc, hold power button and volume UP (instead of down by 311 software) until the led goes white. Flash the right firmware, done!
