Can you boot into the bootloader?
To enter bootloader, hold volume UP and power.
Upon entering the bootloader, you will notice that there is no 'menu' to enter fastboot or recovery. Unfortunately, since the stars didn't align properly, we were unable to tell the new bootloader where to load the images that contain the menu from.
In light of that, you'll have to navigate the menu blind. Use the volume keys to change selection, and the power key to select.
The choices are (in order of pressing volume down):
Start - boot the phone normally [already selected]
Restart Bootloader - reboot into the bootloader
Recovery Mode - enter recovery (CWM)
Power Off - powers the phone off
So, to get to Recovery, you would press volume down twice then power.
Thanks I'll try that out will post results shortly

I tried that nothing comes up even while blind navigating nothing happens tried rebooting into both recovery and bootloader from the power down options and nothing other then this problem the phone works all except both Wi-Fi 4g Data but both were working when I first flashed the ROM

Also when trying to go directly into the bootloader from when the phone is turned off its nothing but a black screen

If you have the android-sdk boot into the rom, and try the command
adb reboot bootloader
or
adb reboot recovery
Ok I'll give that a shot I'll try it out when I get off work.

Was your phone connected to computer while trying to enter download, and does your computer recognize that you have connected to it? Sorry if these sound like obvious questions but trying to rule out what we can.
Yes my phone was connected while trying to go into download mode. And when I plugged my phone into my computer it does recognize it.

I would ask for help in irc maybe ping Shelnutt or autoprime. I was going to suggest running freegee again to see what happens, bit am not sure if that would be risky. Wish I had a better answer.

Phone should not be connected to your computer until your have the program running and the volume buttons pressed. So does your phone say download mode on screen ? You said your computer recognize it, does the program recognize it ?

Nothing comes on the screen when I try to go into download mode just a blank screen like it's off no backlight or anything. The program does show something when the phone is connected but still didn't work.

You need to plug your device to wall charge, and then manually restart your phone! Or choose reboot in cwm apk of tenfar..

Hold down the power button while taking a piss on it, then not more than 5 seconds after that hit it with a wrench a couple times.
When you power the phone up hold power and down volume at the same time. Fastboot will show up on the screen, let go of power and press volume down a few more times until Motorola Recovery shows up, then press the volume up button to enter recovery. CWM should take over from there.
Hi there, well, I wanted to install ICS, & I used this guide, & when i installed CM7 first, it restarted like it should during installation, but i get a bootloop. So, now, I can't access "Download mode" nor, the CWM recovery screen. Even when i hold VolUP & Down+Power, & it would go straight to the animation. I was going to install this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1502830 Any clue what to do?

What bootloaders do you have installed? The key combo to get into recovery changes if you are on GB bl's.
From the guide:
Scroll down to "Install from SD Card" and scroll down to your ICS folder. Find your CM7 file and hit it. Once it finishes, reboot. It will probably bootloop. This is normal. Pull your battery and boot into (red or green) recovery again, "Install from SD" and reflash CM7.
Click to collapse
Get back into recovery per the key combo for your bootloader and reflash CM7 over itself again. One this also to remember is that when you see the Vibrant pop up, take your finger OFF the power button when doing the key combo. Sometimes this is forgotten while in panic mode.
Well, uh, just saying, my nephew the other day was slobbing on my usb port, & now, the only time i can turn it on is when i plug in the usb. but, now, when i do that, usually when u plug it in, when its off, the battery bar would come up. Right? Well, for my phone, it seems like, the battery would come up, but it would be a loading bar stuck @ it, & I can't access anything. Is that normal for the bootloop ?

I accidently booted my phone without loading a ROM onto it and now it won't even start. It doesn't even vibrate. HELP!!
Try holding volume up + volume down + power for a few seconds. If the phone vibrates, let go of the power button. You should have booted into recovery.
nope nothing

How do I put it back to stock if the phone doesn't turn on?
Can you put it into any boot/flash mode when connecting it to your computer?
If so, for a quick fix I would flash the device using Odin or Flashtool and load a Rom that way.
Hope this helped if so click that Thanks button

You gotta get into download mode somehow either with computer and Odin or through different button combination on device try Heimdall as well might be able to use that but if you can't get into bootloader or recovery then it's a wrap

How exactly do I flash/boot via Odin?
There is no change when I plug in my phone into my computer
Yes, do as UncleLester has said. Try hold volume down + power for 10+ seconds. If you're able to go into download mode, you can restore to stock. If the phone doesn't turn on at all, I'm not sure what else you can do...
yeah, I held down the volume up + down + power for almost a minute. Nothing :/
I'm with jpark623 with that if none of the above work I'm afraid your a bit stuck.
What device is it by the way? And how did you get into this mess?
Sent from my LT26i using xda app-developers app
Download mode is accessible by volume down + power. Recovery mode is volume down + volume up + power. Don't press volume up for download mode.
My phone is not even recognized in the ID:COM Section
Were you able to access download mode? If so, then you need to install drivers. If not, you NEED to be in download mode.

There is a thread with a link to a Flashtool download or do what I done and Google Odin and download that.
Odin and Flashtool are programs that make flashing a little easier, the device needs to be put in a fastboot/flash/recovery mode (depending on device it's usually a combo of volume up + volume down or sometimes including the home button) when it's in it, Odin or Flashtool will detect it thats when you can select your chosen Rom.
I use Odin more than Flashtool just because I came across it first and it's never let me down however I haven't used it in a while, when I downloaded it though it did have a little 'how to' guide so everything you need to know will be im there.
Hope this helped if so click that 'Thanks' button

I was trying out different custom roms that I had downloaded. I had just finished one and decided to change it. After booting it into recovery mode, I had wiped the cache and reset it back to factory settings. I tried to load a roam named "JZO54K.N7000XXLS7". It errored and stopped trying to install. Afterwards I ended up wiping it again and resetting the cache to make sure there were no remnants. Following this, I rebooted the phone and now i'm in this position

From just reading that I think your device has had it, if your getting no response from those combos them I doubt the computer will read it as it wont have power.

I had only just got this phone a day ago :/
Hi all i have bought an Xperia J off ebay and the phone has a pattern lock which the seller can't remember how can i get past it i have tried numerous things Flashing ftf with flashtool but the phone wont go into flash mode even with all drivers installed it just keeps going into fastboot mode which is strange i tried to flash an .img and it says "Error Device must Be Rooted" which means the bootloader is locked. I can't use SEUS or PCC as i can't access flashmode. i have tried to access the service menu via the emergancy call screen to rest customization but that did not work just said this is not an emergancy number. I found a tutorial for using adb but as usb debugging is not enabled i can't use adb shell. I have ran out of ideas so open to sugestions.

Or try this one
take the battery out then put it back in, and then at the same time hold down the power button and the down volume button. Then what should happen is there would be a white screen that opens. Then you use the volume buttons to scroll up and down and the power button to select. Then once the screen is open you scroll down to factory reset/hard reset.
