Thanks for sharing. What are the advantages and everything? Btw where can i get miui browser?
Sent from my GT-I5800 using Tapatalk

Dolphin browser. It is pretty and very easy to use. Very simple to understand and change the browsing settings.

Opera mini - no flash, fast, no time wasted
Opera mobile - load flash site freaking fast, smooth enough.

Some stuff is still in Chinese on this one though.

Are you using Dolphin? Thats a known issue with dolphin.
Try using the XDA app instead of browser.
I have the same problem with the dolphin browser i get around it by quickly clicking the advanced search option, it is a little more tedious but at least i can search.
I am not really a fan of the xda app so this is the best working option for me right now.

Me to. Dolfin and now rooted still have the problem
Search button closes as soon as the keyboard pops up. Happens to me in Dolphin and regular browser.
Use opera. Its the type of webkit that the stock browser and dolphin uses. For some reason opera uses a different webkit. It seems to be a bit slower when loading web pages but its universally compatible with all websites.
1+ if you confirm this.

Opera Mini vs Dolphin Browser Mini

Which do you like better?
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA
Prefer Dolphin. But I don't use either because the only time I use the browser is to download ROMs. I use Faster Downloads from here.
I prefer Boat Browser actually, not once I had an issue with it. Plus It's fast & smooth.
HTC Glacier: MyTouch 4G
Permanent Root/S-OFF
Recovery: Clockwork Mod 3.0.2.4
Rom: MyTouch 4G CoreDroid v1.3
Kernel: Max OC- 184gHz (Smartass)
Maxthon browser has been treating me well lately.

I use Opera Mobile on my phone, and typically Chrome on my TF101. for what it's worth. I do not like Dolphin Mobile or Dolphin Mini.
between those two i prefer Dolphin
I like chrome beta haha
I Say Dolphin Because Those Gestures Make Browsing A Breeze ^.^

stable, yes. Fast no.
Im starting to dislike Opera. When im viewing a page and scrolling left to right, it kinda gets sluggish toward the middle, then picks back up when almost to the right. Sorta annoying to me.
Well for me i tried opera didnt like it at all, didnt think it was really user freindly (no i havnt used it lately so i wouldnt know any changes) but ever since i tried dolphin ive been hooked really easy to use options are plain n simple and the cont. upgrade their features. They also have the ability to save your bookmarks to sd just in case u wipe or otherwise, just an overall good browser!!
I prefer to use the Dolphin browser. It makes browsing a breeze. Gestures is great too on it.
Opera is better on my opinion specially when downloading roms.

[Q] browser with user agent change option needed

Anyone have the stock Amaze browser modified or a program to change the user agent?
Wanted something for testing connections.
Saw this article on modifying the browser, but I dont have the spare time yet to do this. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1265213
Thanks!
Go to your browser and type about:debug on your address bar and press enter. Then go to browser settings. You'll see the option to change user agents.
Awesome, perfectly what I needed.
Or..... Dl skyfire from market and just use the awesome ua button. No need to keep typing that crap over and over.
I'm sorry but htc browser is just complete garbage.
It's 5$ for the full version, well worth it imo.
Dolphin is cool but skyfire imo is just awesomeness.
I hit user agent ONCE did desktop view and I'm gtg, no need to retype.
Oh yeah.....

I disagree. Stock browser is the best browser. It gives you the full experience of a real(desktop)browser. No other third party browser is as great. Why have a 500 dollar smart phone when you're going to use mobile browser and load up mobile versions of the websites? I've tried other browsers, none give you a real web experience. And with the stock browser, you have the best of all world. Real desktop web browsing, mobile and different UA options.

You're right. I have been using this browser for more than a year now and it's one of the best. I like it over chrome because I have never had a bug or forceclose with it and it supports Flash. Even though, I often use Dolphin, I always go back to Xscope when Dolphin starts acting up or when I had trouble with some contents.

I used xscope on my blackjack and loved it. Thanks for sharing this, I'll have to check it out!
Used to use xscope on older devices, been around a long time. It's a very good wrapper around the stock browser as is dolphin and marathon, just remember they are just wrappers, you may like the added features, but they are all going to behave and perform nearly identical when it comes down to browsing because they all just wrap the stock browser.
As far as I know the browsers that have their own actual browser implementations are:
Firefox
Chrome
Opera
Skyfire
Chrome open tab sync is just too good to pass up for me...I use it literally everyday.
