You're right. I have been using this browser for more than a year now and it's one of the best. I like it over chrome because I have never had a bug or forceclose with it and it supports Flash. Even though, I often use Dolphin, I always go back to Xscope when Dolphin starts acting up or when I had trouble with some contents.
How does it compare to Maxthon? Maxthon has been my preferred browser for some time now.

I used xscope on my blackjack and loved it. Thanks for sharing this, I'll have to check it out!
Used to use xscope on older devices, been around a long time. It's a very good wrapper around the stock browser as is dolphin and marathon, just remember they are just wrappers, you may like the added features, but they are all going to behave and perform nearly identical when it comes down to browsing because they all just wrap the stock browser.
As far as I know the browsers that have their own actual browser implementations are:
Firefox
Chrome
Opera
Skyfire
Chrome open tab sync is just too good to pass up for me...I use it literally everyday.

I use stock but I hear there's better. What's best browser for the atrix
Sent from Atrix ;-)
Dolphin Browser HD (spring for the license, or find it on the web). Some good add-ons for it too. Use desktop mode.
I really want to like Firefox Mobile, as I am a big Firefox fan, but the current beta just isn't all that. DolphinHD is pretty awesome for the Atrix.
Dolphin here as well. Faster and better than the sticker. I also have skyfire, but haven't played with it much. Used to use it on my iphone to play some flash videos.
Dolphin HD works slower than the Firefox beta for me.
I use Miren.

Dolphin HD. Also Opera Mini when only edge available.
Sent from my MB860 using XDA App
dolphin hd is slower than stock, but allows you to go to desktop sites by default if you configure it. No matter how many times you try, frequently the stock browser will not allow you to go to desktop sites.
The smoothest browser in terms of navigating a webpage is opera mobile 10 hands down (not mini). pinch to zoom is really smooth compared to any other android browser. too bad it doesn't work on the atrix yet and no flash support.
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
I like dolphin because it allows me to watch Hulu on my phone (after some slight modification of course). For general surfing and especially if you have a non-unlimited plan I would use Opera. It's faster and compresses stuff you have less data usage.

Agreed... I think a lot of people haven't tried/heard of it, but it's beyond solid.
I like dolphin mini or mobile. Works prefect and it's faster than stock and dolphin hd
Xda app via atrix
Best Browser
I have tried them all except that miren one you guys are talking about, I will give it a shot however If you haven't tried Xscope 6 then your missing out. Ive been sing it for months now. Its great. Its very lite and fast. you have nothing to lose by trying it.
OK well I just installed Miren after i made this post and I gotta say its a fantastic browser, Ive only been using it for a few minutes so I cant say I like it better than Xscope yet but I will give it more time.
Miren is really good. Just checked it out, and it is perfect.
Currently using:
-Miren (Default)
-Opera Mini (when not on wifi/on edge)
-Dolphin HD (Only when I want to watch something on Hulu)
I'd been a fan of Xscope until Miren. Miren is at least as fast as Xscope and has a nicer UI, I think. It's a great browser.

I really like Maxthon. It definitely blows Firefox out of the water.
I ran Dolphin Mini for a very long time, and just tried experimenting with new ones. My current favorites are Ninesky and Maxthon.
Any ideas what is the best internet browser? Is it stock, or any third party app?

Dolphin browser. It is pretty and very easy to use. Very simple to understand and change the browsing settings.
Opera mini - no flash, fast, no time wasted
Opera mobile - load flash site freaking fast, smooth enough.

When i was using Eclair I used Dolphin browser HD, it was the best option because the stock browser was crap, now I've installed Froyo and for me the stock browser is great!
Anyone have the stock Amaze browser modified or a program to change the user agent?
Wanted something for testing connections.
Saw this article on modifying the browser, but I dont have the spare time yet to do this. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1265213
Thanks!
Go to your browser and type about:debug on your address bar and press enter. Then go to browser settings. You'll see the option to change user agents.
Awesome, perfectly what I needed.
Or..... Dl skyfire from market and just use the awesome ua button. No need to keep typing that crap over and over.
I'm sorry but htc browser is just complete garbage.
It's 5$ for the full version, well worth it imo.
Dolphin is cool but skyfire imo is just awesomeness.
I hit user agent ONCE did desktop view and I'm gtg, no need to retype.
Oh yeah.....

I disagree. Stock browser is the best browser. It gives you the full experience of a real(desktop)browser. No other third party browser is as great. Why have a 500 dollar smart phone when you're going to use mobile browser and load up mobile versions of the websites? I've tried other browsers, none give you a real web experience. And with the stock browser, you have the best of all world. Real desktop web browsing, mobile and different UA options.

Opera was the best on the phone, but its tabled UI is a bit weird.
1) Resolution needs to be rescaled, because now its tiiiiny
2) And I really want tabs
But speed wise it is very good
QQ Browser or Boat Browser. The best two alternatives IMO.
Faster, more stable, and no early development bugs/glitches.

Same, nor do I see all the stuttering most people mention lol. Then again, I'm not browsing webpages most of the time on my N10 anyway
Firefox works great
Dolphin w/ Jetpack is my favorite...but Chrome is not giving me any issues either.
Gotta say the AOSP 4.2 browser is by far my favorite. Loving it!
how do i install 4.2 aosp browser on the n10?
edit: forget it, i got it.
if someone else needs it: here is a german description, just use the google translator but it should be self explanatory http://www.mobiflip.de/nexus-4-aosp-browser-aus-android-4-2-nachruesten-root/
I am using Firefox. With the add ons, I was able to get an ad blocker without having to root the device, and it so far has not complained on any sites with Flash content. It is very fast and well organized for tablet.

+1 Ocean browser is the best!
Ocean browser really is the best. I was sold on Dolphin + JetPack before I tried Ocean, but Ocean really does beat it pretty handily.
It regularly gets under 800ms in Sunspider, is as smooth at scrolling/zooming as the iPad, supports flash, and doesn't have any of the weird glitches and quirks that Dolphin + Jetpack has. The only thing that's somewhat lacking is the GUI, which is a bit dated and ugly looking. I always keep it full screen though and just use the quick menu, which is beautiful.
Ocean browser is hands down the best imo. Went back and forth between that and dolphin for a while but ocean is way better.
