I jut ROM'd my touch pro 2 with a titanium load of WM 6.5.
I've misplaced one of my favorite apps and I'm hoping someone can point me to it.
It was a simple titanium launcher that allowed you to add 4 icons per page and you could scroll left/right through the pages.
I found it easier to use than all the one that allow you to add pages with only 1 link per page.
I thought it was CHome editor but the current version seems to only use the 1 shortcut per page method, did an older version allow you to add more?
Thanks in advance, I did search for quite a while for posting, but I couldn't find what I was looking for.

I could use a couple more pages but while I see how I can remove unwanted pages I do not see how to add them assuming you can. Anyone know if this is possible? Yes I did search, yes I am aware there are other launchers and quite familiar with them. I find I like touch wiz once most of the annoying wiz is removed and I'm trying to give it a go. Already figured out moving home to center but with a four by four layout I cant quite get all the icons/widgets setup that I use.
Alternatively I suppose if it is possible to adjust the number of rows and columns going to a 4 by 5 like I do with LP and ADW would work too. Didn't find that in a search either.
Shameless bump.
Hi guys.
I just wondered if I can make one of my homescreens an actual web page? What I want is to have all my apps on homescreen 3, but then swipe to homescreen 2 and have a specific webpage already open there in full screen.
Is this possible at all, please? Thanks in advance.
I can see this being very useful now you brought it up, espeically for business use on the go. Theoretically someone could easily code a widget like 8x4 size and display the webpage in it. I'd like to see someone implement that in one of the browser apps
It's technically possible with a widget that uses android.webkit.WebView, but I have found no apps on the market that do it.
So, this is probably a really simple issue to resolve, but after doing the ICS update last night, I don't seem to have an option to place new widgets on my homescreen. I do a long press as usual, but am only given an option to change wallpapers... help? lol
And of course, I find them after I create a post...
Where? If you find an answer to a question please post it for those searching.
to those that can't find them, open your apps drawer, and you can either swipe past your apps or at the top left you will see the widgets tab.
basically the app drawer and widgets are combined now, longpressing on the desktop only lets you change wallpaper.
personally i found the way it worked in HC to be more effecient, but this works i guess
as soon as I posted this found my answer, sorry!
I frequently change ROMS, and I always have all my apps backed up in Titanium Backup. This is great, because I can reload all my apps and gamesaves with a single click.
My only problem now is when it comes to setting up my homescreen. I like to have about 4 folders on my homescreen. To create these folders in ICS, I have to drag and drop my apps from my apps bar into the main window, then into their respective folders. I can do this with ADW launcher by simply restoring those settings...but I would prefer to get away from nonstandard launchers.
Question: Is there a way (program or other) to batch send all my apps to my homescreen so that I can speed up this initial setup process? Thanks in advance for any answers / guidance!
I used MyBackup with the same result when it came to widgets, any widget wouldnt display including clock. However, app shortcuts displayed as they're supposed to.
Hope that helps.

Will this program allow me to send multiple apps from my app drawer to my home screen? That's really the only thing I need. I don't care for widgets all that much, as the only widget I use is Pandora....easy enough to create on my own.
OK, this is simply bizarre. On my Mate 10 ALP-L29 8.0.0.119 (C636) I cannot get any browser (I've tried Chrome and Firefox) to save a particular URL/Page to my Homescreen. I've tried it with the default Huawei launcher, and also using Nova and Apex. I make the normal request within the browser to save the page to my homescreen, and then it acts like it's saving, but then there's nothing added to my homescreen!?!
I've got to think I've got some setting somewhere messed up, but can someone simply confirm that they can do this basic action on their Mate 10 and, if so, using which launcher and browser? If I know it can be done, then it's easier to figure out! Thanks.
Edit: once I uninstalled the third-party launchers, I could create an Url homescreen shortcut with Huawei Home. But no love yet for either Nova (which also doesn't work yet with dynamic calendar icons) or Apex (which does).
Continued researching and sort of solved my own problem. This is apparently a known flaw of Oreo with most launchers (although not with Huawei Home, to their credit). There's a beta of Pixel Launcher that solves it, but I can't say I love that launcher. Instead, my workaround was a 2011 app, called Url Shortcut (by KebabApps), still available in the Play store. It has no UI, but when you long-press on your homescreen to add a shortcut (not a widget), it gives you a 1x1 shortcut where you can manually enter the web url and the title you want under the icon. And it works, although you will then need to edit the icon image to your liking.
