A little while ago the amazon free app of the day was zombie rider which I managed to grab and couldn't wait to try but I can't seem to get the damn thing to run! Has anybody got this working!?It gets stuck for me on the main menu screen every time!
Yeah it works fine. I just downloaded it and have been playing it.

Im runing the at (honeycomb) rom and using the market version.. this is the best rom from my experience but if u flash it u need too install lcd density changer and change the density too 240 otherwise when u get on the market alot of apps say not compatible with this device and wont let u download. Great rom i have zero problens with it very fast and stable. Over clocked too 1.3 ghz and loving it. My quadrant is consistantly over 4000

Hmm... that's good to know I was wondering why so many apps say that they are incompatible with my phone!? Maybe this is true with aura too? I gotta try that! Thanks!
Update: huh my density is already set to 240 so guess that's not a problem....
Set it on 240 anyway and select the daemon then itll restart your phone. Then try if thats a no go. Click menu setings applicationa clear data for market

None of that stuff works for me. I have the paid version from amazon(doesn't work) and the free version with ads from the market and neither work! I'm on home base right now maybe I'll try honeycomb rom as last ditch effort. Really wanted to play this but I'm doubting I will be able now.
Edit: Holy crap! It actually runs on honeyatrix rom!! I can't believe it and am wondering why it wont work on any other rom??? but I'm happy that its working finally!! Thanks silver03wrx !!

Huh you got it working on darkside? I didnt think it worked on that? I wonder if it has something to do with blur because both honeyatrix and darkside have quite a bit of blur in it still. The other roms I was using do not. How the hell could blur effect anything with a game running or not though?! That can't be it??
Edit: just flash the newest darkside and the game still freezes on it for me. Honeyatrix is the only one it runs on it seems for me...

I don't know what that is??? But how come it works fine on Seanz's Honeyatrix and other roms it doesn't???
You know what I think this game is a piece of ****! It stopped working on the honey atrix rom too after I added fauxs 1.45 oc kernel and uv values too it. Oh well maybe one day the dev of this game will fix it!
Anybody who likes this game and wants it running it runs perfectly on darkside 3.1.0 lite version! Awesome!
I'd love to know what the hell is causing it to freeze on practically every other rom though!? hmmm....

I will let you know as soon as im done flashing. Some custom roms say they have live wall papers but they sometimes don't work. ill let you know.
Lol just twittered like an hour ago maybe. I hate all the **** tmobile crammed on the internal space on this phone but friend stream has actually been quite useful so far to me. Too bad tmo didn't consider that this phone is supposed to be fit for me and consider that I like lots of other apps too...

Im not a pro at OC but looking at spare parts now and the settings by default are the following
min cpu 245000
max cpu 998400
cpu gov ondemand
with that said does that mean our cpu is clocked at close to 1ghz similer to nexus one?

Now this looks intriguing. I will check and get back with results.
EDIT: This was taken from the stock Nexus one Image. and the Nexus one has 998400 set as its stock max cpu. No OC for the slide
Is anyone else Having problems getting N64oid onto their vibrant? I search the market on my phone and it doesnt even come up. When i search it on my laptop at the android markets it finds it just fine, but i cant get it couse it says my device is unsupported.
However i keep seeing new reviews which leads me to think it still works and some of the reviews are coming from fellow vibrant users. Could someone see if they can

ROM Gripper ++ seems to have the largest selection for an app on your phone. Just make sure you own original copies of the games you're downloading.

It says in rom gripper++ that some emulators don't show up in the market for some countries so this could be why.

I found it, I had to type just N64 to find it on applanet. I'm currently running it on my vibrant along with Nesoid and SNesoid.

but then my lagfix wont work =( and before the lagfix i score around 860 and after im getting 2270. Even with 2.2 i was getting 870... i dont want 2.2 if i cant have the lagfix.
Dude... Lagfixes are included in damn near every rom here. Your quadrant score is a very superficial number like how many freckles one has. It all comes down to how smooth the UI is and I can assure you they all are very smooth and each is very unique in its own way. Do you want the ability to show your friends a high quadrant score? Or would you rather show them Wave Race 64 or any game you own 64 wise. I use this quite a bit and people in my area are more prone to be blown away with high end mobile nostalgia than a static screen . Take the plunge for flash alone at the least.
i know, but when i dont have my lag fix on my phone is stupid slow. Like, scrolling through my apps is glitchy and lame till i have the lag fix on.
Im using the vibrant toolbox to root my phone and then i put on ryanZA's OCLF lagfix.

Yes. Voodoo. The Overstock kernel is also VERY smooth. I don't even remember what my phone was like.before Voodoo.
Really if you've already rooted, there's no reason you shouldn't go ahead and upgrade to 2.2. Voodoo is a far better lagfix, and if you get a kernel like Overstock that supports it, you can have awesome enhancements like Voodoo Sound and Color, and BLN (let's you use your touch keys as an LED notification, blinking and all).
i actually remember why i went back to 2.1
i had just upgraded to 2.2 and that night my phone almost commited suicde. It was on my desk all by its self, nothing on it, under it or around it. It kept buzzing at me at like 3am till i finally got out of bed to see what was up.
It was SCREAMING hot and the screen had a flashing thermameder on it. It was all plugged in fine no problems... i of course unplugged it for the rest of the night. But yah...
so i just put 2.2 back on my phone. I turned off the lag fix, uninstalled the program, turned off launcher pro and uninstalled it then unrooted my phone and did the upgrade with kies mini... got done installing and rebooted and now my phone is just sitting here going buzz.......buzz.......buzz buzz...... in about 1 minute intervals on an off screen...

opp got it. I Went into clockwork and reset everything then rebooted and its up. But anywho, has anyone elses phones tried to commit suicide while they were sleeping?

First of all, stop caring about quadrant scores. Smartbench is where its at. Quadrant scores are incredibly inaccurate and easy to fool, not to mention heavily pro-htc.

Anyways, for your lag problem, try installing a reliable custom rom like bionix-v or trigger, their stock kernels also come preinstalled with voodoo.

I just tried rooting my phone and it saying it failed to install the packages... =P I think between my phone almost cooking to death and not being able to root is why i went back to 2.1..... im using vibrant toolbox.
Overstock is on page one of the android development section. Don't worry so much on a separate link to Voodoo just read the OP's of a rom that you will settle on found also in the android development section. Listed there they will tell if the rom already has Voodoo injected also if it comes activated upon flashing or needing to go to recovery and initiating. Over 3/4 have voodoo in them have fun. I've never used tool box but all of the flashing for me is done through recovery.

Mine didn't load until I tried like twice I think. Then again it could be an issue with the rom - lots of people seem to be complaining about it working and then no longer working once they switched roms. I'm not using Khal's atm and I'm not even considering buying it until I use the ROM and I see SPB works with it.

I think Khal's minfree parameters are probably too strict. I got those random program deaths when I was trying really strict levels. Too much free memory can be a bad thing

you can remove the minfree @/system/etc/init.d to make your memory as default..anyway not worth it to run spb 3d on xt....at least 512 ram shud be nice..

Phone refuses to load that launcher.... Any ideas?

If there was a way to get it working with the good ROMs without sacrificing too much, that would be great. It looks good and I know they are already planning to release more widgets (+WM users seem to have a lot of faith in SPB's dev skills and updates) so I'm potentially interested in getting this - if it works.

The new version works just fine on V4 for me without swap, but it slows the entire phone down so not really ideal for everyday use atm. They'll have to do some more work on RAM consumption I think.

Looks okay , But was hoping for more a Honeycomb GUI , as ive just got rid of a 2.3 Tablet to get the HP touch pad to flash to 3.0 but will 3.0 ever happen for the Touch pad ?
The general consensus seems to be that HC will not appear on the TP; as the source code was never released by Google.
What is more likely to happen is that 2.3.5 will be on the initial CM release for the Pad; with ICS being the next logical step, once it's released.
I may be wrong,
But I believe that is the long and short of it.

I am really hoping this progresses fast and works well. I actually enjoy webOS card system but the lack of apps is disappointing. I would much rather be able to run android on a card.
Either way though, I plan on installing android whether it's dual boot or via card.

The preware twitter feed, states that this app installs another kernel and that the un-instal option doesn't remove it.

if you want to O/C again, you have to doctor 3.0.2 back on, then redo the preware etc.
as for the apps, put them in that folder and they will auto install, thats what i did, and got titanium installed (even tho its useless/keeps crashing, i had it available)

Hi all. Has anyone here played simcity deluxe?
I have a uk Atrix running cm7 weekly 3. When playing the game freezes and I have to force close it. The same happens if I use chaifire as well. It has happened on all the available Cm7 kernels also. I have played with various different settings to no avail.
What are other people's experiences? Does anyone have any suggestions? I would love to get this game working.
I ran into that issue today , playing Dungeon Hunter , i have CM7 with 1.45 OC kernel , and everytime i played OC it froze... so i just put setcpu at 1Ghz max and played fine .. !

I'm using Dorian's red pill RC1, and with both the stock kernel and faux123 1.0GHZ enhanced kernel (No OC, with UV) the app crashes after a short period of time. Was able to get in the game itself, but it died shortly after
Is there a possibility to make it work on CM based roms? coz I really wanna play this, but really don't wanna go back to a Moto-based rom to do this
Another, somewhat similar question, would the GTA3 will behave the same (Crash after short time on CM-based roms)? coz paying 10 cents for a crushing app is one thing but 5$ for one is a little high for me to test...

how does it compare to SC4 deluxe (the pc version)? the pictures in the market make it seem slimmed down a bit... i imagine there's no way to NAM/RHW it either.

Those who can't play this game on CM7, try replacing the kernel to faux123 latest one- v0.23r. I faced the same problem before, but after changing the kernel the game runs great!

Not even close, but meh. It's still fun. I never ran any issues into the game BUT it's a big battery drainer.

Didn't work for me sadly =/ Still freezes after a minute or so in game.

Some games that weren't working for me with the CM7 release are working now using the Neutrino ROM release. Dunno why, since its based on CM7 anyway, but its worth trying?
this game has a lot of issues and its not just from people using cm7. if you read the game reviews everyone seems to be having problems with it.
I bought the game back when google was doing the 10 cent apps and now i cant find it on the market for the atrix anymore. Anyone else having this problem?

Yeah, they pulled it from the market because of all the issues Atrix users were having with it. So now we can't even upgrade the game or reinstall it =/
Faux's last cm7 romantic fixed all my issues. Simon city now works flawlessly.

I am running CM7 Weekly 4 with Faux v24b4 kernel and have no issues with SimCity Deluxe at 1.0Ghz
I bought IT for 10cent too. But now I didn't find the App in the market. I'm running Aura 1.2.2.2.. Can someone help me?
