Excuse me ... Hello everyone .. I understand that this type of kernel is no longer supported for mini pro sk17i mango ... But a few months ago there was a version of which was used to install it on mini pro .. is it possible still find it?
Thanks and good work.
Seriously? You cant scroll down to see Doomlord's Thread?
Take a look at this first http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmvCpR45LKA
Now go back to the Threads and scroll down.
P.S. wrong section.
we bucchinààà...
you have to think that every time someone has problems and sometimes these forums are redundant ...
na na na ....you have only 180 post you do not believe to be the magician of the situation ...
.. good luck ..
As the video states, you are NOT special. If you are incompetent enough to post in the correct section, even before doing the easiest thing which is "searching", when there are no more than 30 threads on this Forum section (meaning you dont have to go through thousands of threads to find what you need), then you almost deserve such answers.
I wont even comment on the post count thingamajig. It just shows how immature you are.
Nevertheless...

joon,
Regarding the kernel I think not. The kernel version in my pre-relase SW is 2.6.29.
.
Regarding 16M colors, as I understood it from the developers it required to much re-development which made it impossible to prioritize, sorry.
.
On air control, thanks for the hint! It seems to vary between 30 and 31 fps. As said before I’m trying to find out more on this.
I also tried the Quadrant standard test and got a score of 1033 points. It’s however important to remember that I’m running pre-release SW which first of all isn’t final but could have extra debugging enabled etc also.
.
TripNRaVeR,
Sorry but I had to remove your comment. A pity really since it was a long one and good one. Please remember to stay away from explicit language next time so that we can let it stay here. This being on our .com domain gives some rules I need to follow.
nice one Trip
another one time,se let us down.

hello and many thanks to the geniuses here at xda.
ok i really think the blackscreen bug exists at least in cm 7.2rc stock =AND in gamers talho rom
using old baseband stock p505
kernel some lg 2.xxxxxx35 or somethin
cause if i plug in the usb and turn off the screen, i guarantee no matter wat u press it will stay off. ull see it brighteen a bit with slight grey static
gets terribly annoying, causes a forced battery remove b/c i cant turn it on again lol... also have tried disabling all animations, INCLUDING the screen turn on and off anims
ull be able to slide the unlock and u can hear the gui being accessed.
also happens randomly*** but random only when not connected via usb,
i think i need a better kernel maybe??
How is this "Original Android Development"?
ok honestly where the #@%$ should i ask this question?

GO TO GENERAL!!! that is why is called general. There is even a discution thread for every rom. Some one please close this thread.
Its kinda weird. Ignorant people just trash up android development section and they start original android development section. And spamming start here even hours after stating section. You are ignornat and dont even respect the devs who develop these it seems r maybe too new u dont know the way its done, becoz if u did u would take time to read the forums and post in the developer thread instead of in wrong section.First of all almost all rom and kernel here have a developer and they open thread not becoz its fun its open there to get bug reports and for users to query. And why the heck people come make threads for it. Start to respect rules,Start to respect the devs and then people will repect u.Last few months this forum was getting filled with spam. Had to flame someone.
Either way dont take it bad.New people here always nneds some time to ctach up.But guys plzz starting the forum rules before posting, use the the search function before u ask something and plzz post only in apppropriate threads.
I see u also posted this in cm9 thread which till now dont even have blackscreen bug. What this mean?Think urself!
Now some moderator remove this thread plzz.
And not have people who post 2 posts to be able to post in development thread
good 2 see
not eveyone is tryin to rip my nooby balls off lol
so can any1 say yes or no if they share this annoying evil bug from hell?
or is it just me and my lg phoenix 505?? cause its NOT a optimus one yet everyone here says the p505 phoenix model is very similar.
soi its gotta b driver or kernel.
oh and also i get unknown baseband in my phone settings alot of them r unknown i think i took a weird route when my discovery of flashing smartphones happened last month
So i cannot see any threads at all when the forum skin is set to 2010/13 and Beta. Couldn login in the Xperia section for da last couple of dayz regarding this specific matter..i ended up bored and frustrated and started clicking everywhere on the blank page. Ended up changing the forum look and walah! the posts are visible. SO, my question! Is the forum upgrading or what? Why wont the other skins work? Kinda got stuck with the classic screen..and..i gota say..its not that impressive :silly: so lemme know if anybody got anything to share on the behalf! Thanks :highfive:
I'd recommend you to ask this here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=276306&page=525
Ahh! Thanks m8 .. posting em right now, bdw..arent you having the same problem? Or the themes working well over at your side??? How you doing bdw?? Whats new?? :highfive:
Work fine for me.
"I got my values. So you can keep yours, OK?"
Working for me as well. Sounds like something on your end.
Thinking about a guide like say "links to common problems and tuts",
where there is links to every common problem of the forum in those threads. users can post more. so everything is there and its not very messy or long.
op's would get more views and thanks.
Kindly use the vote too.
is this idea good?
I think the stickies already enough (In my own opinion)
I guess we have so many stickies, should be enough

I think the idea is a good one. A bunch of the recognized contributors are trying to do something along those lines, but based on a FAQ. The idea is for most devices to end up with a FAQ with short answers to the common questions/problems. Since the answers are short, they almost always link to a longer guide/tut/resource.
fma965 put one up for the Xperia Play today, it is here if you want to take a look.
Is there any way to share op title or at least have an option for more than person to edit a post? And watch over the thread etc etc.
Sent from my Xperia Mini Pro
I think your idea is not bad but I think I already made a FAQ thread for it You can always PM me or tell me all kinds of your idea to improve it. I'm trying to make it as much helpful as I can and if you put your effort too, i think that guide can be extended to a greater level
Best Regards,
AJ

At the moment no. I think that people have asked for this in General - About xda forum. I seem to remember that it was going to be looked into...but it could be a while.
I don't think you can ever have too many guides as what you may find in one you might not find in another, but as already said it's pretty much covered in the guides/sticky department, and most of the solutions to common problems should be found by following Rule Number 1 anyway.
No offence, but the search tool of xda isn't quite up to the mark.

Agreed, but it IS an alternative. And I might point out that the search function is not the best. Case in point, I received a thunderbolt a few weeks ago, and while I was able to find what I needed to root it quickly, there things I needed to know that were no where to be found. As an RC, I knew better than to "just ask", but after I could not find my answer (although I'm sure it was here somewhere) I had to pull a n00b and ask. Of course, I was treated like a n00b with the typical "read the OP, search first" responses. NOT HELPFUL.

Google works perfectly, which is why its so frustrating when People say they've searched but not found what they're looking for, because most of the time typing a thread title or their question into Google finds it straight away, or is in one of the stickys they clearly haven't read.

Helloo people.. I am new to this community.
i wanna root my piece and install a rom and get to a new world of android customization.
ne1 help me with procedure ??? from start to End. As i dont knw mch abt rooting and in a learning process.
Details would help a lot mate. Go to phone settings then about phone. Don't need imei so don't post that.
We also need you to search
Root procedures has been covered hundreds if not thousands of times across the internet. So finding a good root method isn't going to be hard if you search.
But andrew is right, we still need more information about your device (settings>about phone) to get you into the right direction..
If you're unable to search for & find the info you need given how often this has been discussed here over the past two years (easily the two most discussed topics), you'd probably question whether you should be messing with your phone in the first place.
'ne1 help me with procedure ??? from start to End. As i dont knw mch abt rooting and in a learning process.' - will lead to a busted phone if you 'do' before you learn 'how' & 'why'.
Spoonfeeding this person the info they want because they provide the info in settings/about phone is ridiculous. The default response to threads like this should be 'Search', not 'Do A, B, C, D & E'.
How about you hold on for my next response before jumping the gun and guessing I'm going to "spoon feed him" when have I ever spoon fed anyone? He says what hes on and il tell him what kernel to use. Down to him to work out how by reading like I would and have put loads of times. Why you being funny with us for? You should no my response by now Mb
Mistahbungles advice will stand the OP in good stead. Its not a problem him being a noob,as The Hulk has got a thread running in the general section.
He is welcome to go there instead of creating crap topics like this that have been covered loads of times.
He is wanting to know everything without doing a lot of the spadework himself.

That thread is for after you root and outdated. I'm sure Rom manager will stuff your phone if you flash with that. Lets lead the op in to the lions den. Next thing will be use getril.
Lol pm the hulk and moan to him.And a 2 minute search, and 2 minutes of action will get him rooted.

Lol moan!!!! No not moaning at all. Dont give bad advice, its not the xda way. Rom manager is a joke. that thread is well outdated you should no better than to post a link to that. That could put him in a world of pain.Post helpfull things. Iv bin reading lots of your posts and I'm sure the mods are too. Shame cuz I bet you could help loads but choose not to.
Well....it is clear that the OP needs to search.

Maybe people are tired of people joining here, and instead of searching, wanting links and step by step instructions of how to do things.
Maybe these same people get a bit annoyed when they try to follow the rules and other people dont.

I understand were your coming from. But I haven't spoon fed. I thought we was a bit like a family on q and a trying to help and point people were they need to go. Guess I was wrong
Pls read my first post. I asked for details of his phone thats all. I even said thanks to the next post for saying use search before any one reply. He got were I was going I think. Find out his details and point him to right kernel. I feel like crap cuz of this thread now and I did nothing wrong. I to respect you theunderling.
You do what you like andrew but the guy will only end up relying on you rather than finding out and learning for himself.
Also,if you advise him about something you could end up getting him in a right mess. That wouldnt be your fault but his.
Eg.
If he flashing something and he loses his efs,or odin doesnt recognize his phone,or he doesnt back up and loses valuable stuff.
You see,are you meant to warn him about all the risks beforehand. As T has said,he should search before doing anything as it will be the OP that will end up with problems.
I could hang around and just post "search" all the time but I cant be bothered.
Maybe the regulars on here can say what Ive advised before
"Before flashing anything, read the threads in q+a to give an idea of problems with flashing.Do it for a week since just about everything is covered".
That maybe a more polite way of saying "search",but better to get straight to the point.

This is why I point out the kernel or rom to be used but then say read. Iv tested loads for people on xda and no how to put it Bk to working mode but I get your point about relying on me had that a few times in Pms and it does do my head in. I just like to help too much I think. Your point is noted.
