Hello everyone. I was change my radio band to USA band accidentally and now my SIM is not detect the network. It is possible to return default radio band settings without wipe? And how?
Update: Wipe not help, I don't want flash the phone, please help.

It is trivial, of course I was check this partition of settings first of all. No, problem with detect of network with different SIM.
Clarification: radio band was changing via *#*#4636#*#* I think that radio band was change frequences and I am shure it can be changing manually by two clicks, but where...
i do the same and have to fully reflash with latest sbf to fix problem.
i broke my band with creating activity shortcut on the desktop with launcher pro, push it and select usa band

How can I easily turn off 3g and on 2g on android 2.3.3? I'm on Wolfbreak's ROM which works perfectly, but when I'm not actively using my phone I would like to set it to use 2g only.
When I googled I found this way, but I'm hoping for a more easy solution:
1. Dial *#*#4636#*#*
2. Phone informatie
3. Set Preferred Network Type:
- GSM only = 2g
- WCDMA preferred = 3g
Does anyone know a more easy way to set my phone to 2g?

It helps, a lot easier! ;-) In previous Android version you could turn off the 3g box, I couldn't find that one!

I read everywhere that since 2.3.3 switching between 2g and 3g is not possible anymore, all the switch apps only place shortcuts to the settings menu.
The only one that really has this feature is a CM ROM.
Is there any way on a rooted non CM ROM to place a widget that can switch between 2g and 3g just by pressing it?

Navigating the phone tree:
Settings ---> Wireless & Network Settings --> Mobile Networks ---> Network Mode-->
Option Available:
Sprint Only!
Any CDMA!
Any GSM/UMTS
Automatic!
NO matter if I change it or not always when I reboot my phone it goes to CDMA or Automatic but always looks for CDMA.
I am using the photon with UMTS 850mzh so I need to know how to set that by default or how to hold that setting in the phone.
Also I would like to permantly Disable the "Roaming Guards" I am tire of switch off those thing everytime I reset the phone!

Dial *#*#4636#*#* -> Phone Information and select GSM auto (PRL)
Menu>settings>wireless&networks>mobile networks>roaming guards and clear the appropriate check boxes and that should solve your issue.

then,l lost any 3g signal or 2g signal
now it displayed"no signal"on every boot
i think that if i can set the gsm/umts band to other local,i may fix it
but i the test mode,i just got the usa band to choose
i have reflash the rom again,but it doesn't get any better

Contact your carrier to setup the apn, the screen shot is for canada, telus. Make sure that the fields are properly competed.
System settings - more.. (under data) - access points.

U might have to flash radio ..checkout on the reboot project .. couple of radio's available there
Guys i am having a problem finding the apn options on my sprint lg, The phone is unlocked for any sim, but im trying to get my 3g to work on this phone but is this option even Available?
It is under Settings / More / Mobile Networks
Then choose Network Mode
I guess if you just select CDMA, you will be forced into 3g only.
If I go in connection settings, under preferred networks I only get 4G/3G/2g options. How do I enable 5G? I am running Oxygen 11.3 in Europe
