It be great if any of you guys can flash the ROM without wiping data. I just re-flashed my backup Cognition 1.5.1 and then flashed my ROM and I didn't have no problems.
But I wanted to see if you guys are experiencing any problems.
Remember to do a backup in Recovery, its easy only takes 5 minute to backup and 5 to restore!
ROM works great. But it lacks some touch sensitivity issue. Moreover it isnt working with Kies. I can see gret improvement in battery life.
The battery life looks amazing! R u using stock battery and how long was the display on?

Hey mate, I completely removed everything relating to Kies in the ROM.
But i'll upload a file so you can flash it through CWM and have Kies back soon! Hmm about the touch sensitive issue, this is related the kernel, or you could download the touchscreen app which should make it more sensitive for you!
(Theres two app, you can use both if one doesn't seem to work)

Stock battery? If you mean icon no, im using a accurate battery mod, you can just see it has numbers of how many battery you have left (in %). Also the screen was on for about 5 - 6 hours non stop browsing, gaming and youtubing and still 35% left. It shows it on the screenshot 'Screen on'.

yes same here , I completely removed everything relating to Kies in the ROM
Kies is in second post under the downloads if anyone wants it.
Also im currently using Simple & Clean v1.2 ! Everything is working smoothly, only thing it is missing is 12 Status Bar Toggle, the script has changed on KJ2 compared to all other version. It should be out by tomorrow hopefully!

Yeah I think the battery life was great, using 7 hour 30 minutes browsing with music together, youtube etc and still have 35% left is good. So really its like every 1 hour is 10% in heavy use. Which for small to average users should get great battery life!

Unfortunately Flash Player needs to be installed by hand. Use The FileManager goto /system/app/FlashPlayer.apk click on it and select install

i'm assuming that you are talking about the status bar. it works but it's very finicky. you just have to hit the right spot. keep trying.
fm radio and theme manager (sony launcher > desktop > menu > theme) keep crashing. also, digital clock widget is not working properly; the last digit is so small that you almost can't see it. very minor issues. overall, the rom seems to be performing very well. super fast, super smooth. my main concern when i'm choosing a rom for the mini pro is battery life. i will try to report back tomorrow night after a full discharge cycle to give you my impression.
here are a couple screen shots for those of you wondering what the rom looks like (obviously, i'm using the sony launcher as opposed to the regular launcher).
edit: theme manager works, as long as you access it through the launcher.

fm radio and theme manager (sony launcher > desktop > menu > theme) keep crashing. also, digital clock widget is not working properly; the last digit is so small that you almost can't see it. very minor issues. overall, the rom seems to be performing very well. super fast, super smooth. my main concern when i'm choosing a rom for the mini pro is battery life. i will try to report back tomorrow night after a full discharge cycle to give you my impression.

They are ril objects pulled from the i9100 roms. In my area with stock ones my DL speed are 4mbps max. Once I changed these and rebooted..... I'm up to 7.5mbps max.
No bloat apps were removed. User can delete them. Just wanted to provide a close to stock experience. The rest are for devs.

This is really smooth and fast. Excellent job.
Here is a digital battery mod (green to 40%, then yellow until 20% then red to 0%).
Running well, however I have experienced some lag/delay and slight choppiness and quite a bit of heat. Other than that, running well!
The 5 Button Home mod works too!

There shouldn't be...
Well so far everything seems to be working. had a few FC's after restoring my apps with titanium backup but after repairing permissions it seems to have subsided. ROM is super fast and very responsive, on par with Cyanogen's stuff... it reminds me of UnNamed, in that a lot of the features I've come to expect and like from that ROM are integrated into here. I like a lot of what this has to offer. I'll keep testing and reporting as I go.
Only gripes I have is for the 14 toggle mod. I personally don't care for it. but w.e. doesn't hurt me one way or the other. Thanks again for the ROM and your time.

This is Electrify rom, completely deblured, except phone and hdmi features, with added cm7 and other apps and features,
to minimize phone and hdmi issues and maximise usability of the hardware, using lightweight software,
without needs to sync anything, like Blur. Google sync is enough and there are plenty of apps in Google play.
And that all in many languages, which are included in AOSP, but someone took them out.
But still, it's not perfect and never will be.
Made on my own unlocked GSM Photon, but works well on CDMA (Sprint) and Electrify (US Cellular) too.
Locked version also available. But still no 4g!
I am not responsible for any software or hardware damage or not working emergency calling. You don't have to use this.
If I am posting something I should not, tell me and I will delete it. I am just sharing this, because it´s good for me and could be good for someone else.
If anything does not work right after installation, do one more restart please.

Do not forget to calibrate the battery - it means - install, boot, (maybe reboot), charge 100%, wipe battery stats and /data/battd folder, discharge to 0% without any reboot (but you can use it ofcourse), plug your charger while holding power button to bypass charge only mode, do not unplug your charger or do not reboot, until it is 100% and use it anyhow you like...
Then you can complain about battery. It means, not sooner than 2 days after installation.
This calibration is not needed because of battery (it is lithium battery), but because of not very good Moto power statistics management. Battery can be charged anytime you like, but the phone can show only estimated battery values, based on charging and discharging.
You can use this Battery Fix app for wiping.

May be you can solve the ussd code issue for us gsm users huh?
You mean unlock gsm for usage with any US provider? I cannot do this.
So can sprint photon users use this. Would we have to flash anything to get sms/mms working? Just want to make sure since I'm on sprint I don't brick the device by flashing ussc rom.

It's a very good rom except the Arabic words shows in wrong way(disconnected letters)

I think, there will be no problem with sprint, except maybe mms, you will need to use go sms, but I changed apns, so I don't know.
I am uploading with updated zone info and icu, so it could help with Arabic, if it works well on cm7.

Not sure, what's going on here with us gsm. Don't know, how it works. I just plug in the simcard here in Czech and it connects automatically. But if I start it without simcard after wipe, some activation menu comes out.
ussd codes bug in the baseband. so, now we have no way to use ussd.

I've been waiting for this... I've requested many times but no go.
Sometimes I exceed my data usage and can't track my prepaid balance.
OP, u seem to be on GSM.. please try to look into it.
For eg, I need to use *123# or *567# etc
So, I googled something about it and I found, that it's a problem of many world phones, including blackberry.
One solution I found, is using ussd dialer from market.
I didn't find other solution yet. ;-)

Edit: Olegfusion made "reboot" and "recovery" options in power menu, for this rom. I am waiting for his post to add it as another addon.
I have to work on adding reboot and reboot to recovery options in menu on pressing power off button for this 2.3.5 rom. You can combine it with my previous Russian pack, but please be sure you flash attached here zip after russian pack in previous post.

Has anyone tried it already? The changelog on the miui site says that battery performance was increased by 10%.. with @greatslon's tweaks it should be a beast (depending on how bad the battery performance was before)
Also, don't hate me for asking - anything about the sony camera that was ported to also work with MIUI (posted the link in your other miui thread)?
in his miui v6 sony camera was already included, did you try it before asking?
so i think it will be in his v7 too.. or maybe i didn't understand correctly what you meant??

However, I didn't try v6, but this hack came out at the beginning of August.. not sure if we are talking about the same thing.
But if you guys who tried v6 were happy with the cam, I see no need with using what I posted :highfive:
I am running the v6 and yes, the full sony camera was included.
Battery life is phenomenal so I expect it to be even better on v7.

It is possible flash from lollipop but maybe bad installation because base rom is 4.4,4. Better downgrade to compilation . 77 (kitkat).

Also, I thought MIUI7 came with lollipop by default.. are there plans to update this rom to 5.x in the near future? If so I may just wait for that.
Downgrade to kitkat with flahtool then root and dual recovery. Flash Miui and make backup. If you use again lollipop Flash any prerooted lollipop rom and make backup too.
Lollipop based miui not released yet. So we wouldnt have it near future

Many languages, it is a regular multi-language rom.

What i did coming from stock LP to get this rom to work was very easy: flashed a kk pre-rooted fw (this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3012378 in particular " D5803_23.0.1.A.5.77_Generic_DE-Root-XZDR2.8.1-SuperSU-signed.zip") and then immediately later flashed this miui and everything seems to be working fine
About lollipop base, in miui, android base doesn't really matters.. ui is completely rewritten so you won't notice any differences! Experienced this from jb to kk to lp etc.. no visible differences at all
Plus, kk for this phone has even better battery they say so why you should be so eagerly waiting for lp base?

Sooo.. first impressions about the rom?
I gave this rom a spin on a locked bootloader. First thing a saw was lots of errors, processes not starting properly. Second was that I can't access the network SIM card that is. I am not sure I installed it the right way though. I flashed a prerooted 4.4.4 rom then the miui v7 after that, wiped dalvik and cache.
how is battery life compared to stock rom

well.. i come from a mi3 with native miui and even on the mi3 i didn't use miui but aosp based roms so you can imagine what i think of miui.. [emoji14] too heavy for me, and not having full xposed support was a too big problem for me. also, on original miui it took ages to fix even more simple bugs, and weekly changelogs were always very disappointing, with ridiculous changes and not considering at all important bugs..
but indeed miui has some very nice features (apps permissions and data control for apps for example).
actually i flashed this just for the sake of testing
I've just flashed this but have to say the rom seems stable and didn't find any big phone specific bugs so far. plus it has sony camera and audio enchantments so seems pretty promising (and full drm support too it seems).
but nevertheless think will go back to stock soon for the same reasons i abandoned miui in the mi3 (too heavy, no full gravity box etc )
ps. of course stock is pretty heavy as well, but with my debloated version i feel it pretty good. plus can't use any custom roms with this phone because of bad camera so.. right now i can just choose the smaller devil

Since it's a different system I would have wiped everything and do a factory reset. (Just make a backup before!)
