Aren't compatible is due to screen density.. revert to version 2 market will solve this problem or change your density to 240 which is for 480x800 devices.
Protected apps??
Accidentally sent from my Google Nexus S using XDA Premium
Yeah protected apps, meaning that your device has to be on a whitelist or you cant see it in market

Will try market 2.3.4 or w/e ever in a bit, density at 240 made phone UI massive....

I'm sure this has been discussed but I saw on the captive forum that they have some sort of fix to get all the Alps to show on the market. Ex: angry birds and some live wallpapers. Since our phones are basicly the same is there a way to fix our market to show all Apps?
Right now I'm doing a work around and using appbrain.

Play Store will not "work" at dpi less than 219/220. This is an OLD topic... really.
Thanks man I'll set the dpi to 219

I have mine set to 255 btw guys 235 and below boot loops
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
How do we change it? And what is the default?
default for most 720p screens our size ergo gnex blah blah blah is 320 and u can change it by using a build prop editor rom toolbox is the easiest surefire way other apps I've used resulted in a soft brick for some strange reason its almost as if they deleted the build prop

Have you had any problems with google play? As in you can't download apps due to a modified resolution
Yes I have had a few issues but if the market app won't let me download the web page will. Or I use a 3rd party source as I usually never download payed apps as I kind of see no need for them.

Sent from my SGH-T959 using xda app-developers app
Settings>accounts>Google>press your Google screen name>menu key>remove account
Eat Play Google
Then sign back in without removing multi DPI?
