Yeah, he is kinda know in the Slide forums for starting fake projects and promising things that never get shown. JD doesn't have a lot of respect over here.

Your posts bring many a laugh to my day. I don't even have a Slide anymore, I just come here to see if jdkroeclipse, and whoareyou(which I am sure are the same person in different accounts) post any more tom foolery.
strong thread bump
Alright, So I have the rom, and there are a LOT of bugs, it is NOT a daily driver ready rom, I need more experianced devs to work on this and get it really working, it does not respond to touch, but thers really a trackpad woraround for everything, the keybord works ok, with bugs with the FN keys... so if any chefs and devs can really help w/this please do

Do some research on Google, you can change these setting without an app. I have used a value in the build.prop file before, but I believe that there is a better way to change the LCD density.
Also; learn to use the edit button, double posts for no good reason are a pain.
I usualy do but I posted that from the device, and the TS didn't work so I couldn't use the edit button, srry.

If you knew he couldn't long press his screen (or use touch at all) on his current ROM, why would you post this absurd comment?

Every thread started by him so far contains double posts, in one case a triple post. My comment was a friendly FYI to keep in mind in the future, there is nothing absurd about that at all.

So... you've just discovered that the Froyo+Sense ROM you've had someone working on doesn't actually have Sense? Which was also part of the reason you needed a different kernel for the touch screen to work?
this doesnt make any sense lol xD why not just wait untill a leaked rom from this new phone is found... it runs froyo sense and its basically an european version of the htc aria with another name and color of course xD

This is like the 2136th time WhoAreYou has claimed to have a ROM in the works and not delivered with his promise. He makes up a bunch of crap to get attention. Its kind of a monthly routine for him, or so it seems. How could you seriously say you have a froyo sense ROM, and then say you "don't think" it has sense!? This guy's a moron who should have been banned a while back.

I know he DOES have a rom because he is in my team.
I just installed the "S Voice" that comes with the new SGS3 and it works. I found this out from this THREAD and this THREAD. It is ok and looks to work good with our device if you are running an ICS Rom. I am currently on MeanRom ICS v1.0 and it works good. Enjoy
Edit: One that should work after they tried and block us lol.

Just force closes on Sense 3.6.
EDIT: Got it work, but it is seriously such an obvious Siri clone. You can even launch it by double-tapping home (only works on an SGSIII)

edit: i had to skip the tips to make this work....but now i don't know how to use it (kinda like a chicken and egg situation)

Just think of it as (dare I say it) Siri. It's pretty simple and easy to use.
Click the bottom-right if you need more help or go into the settings. If I were you, I'd turn of the 'Hi Galaxy' wakeup since it's pointless having to say that every time I want to use it.
Thanks op.
How does it compare to siri?

Just remember that this is just the first version release of this app and it should be probably will be updated numerous times to work out all the bugs once the SGS3 is released.

True, but everyone will compare it to Siri since it was out first and that's the only "big" thing out to compare it to.

Nice, was gonna share this info myself then I found this thread. I have it installed on my Transformer Prime too. So anyone with a Prime can also install this app in it as well

tried it. it works but it's very laggy. From the moment I said "Call home" to the moment the phone actually started dialling, I had to wait about 40 seconds. A bit too long to actually make it useful.
Thanks for sharing though. Probably it will improve with time
Double tap home didn't work for me, but maybe due to sense? Couldn't get it working on AOSP ICS on Desire either though.
Trying to change wake up fc it and had to clear app data to get it working again.
It works. But as said its a bit slow to actually do the task.. tested with sms and web search

Hey everyone.
I've been reading that siyah kernel will soon allow dual booting. I'm still learning android stuff so I don't know what this means exactly.
Dual booting means we could install another OS on the SGS3? If that's so, could it be possible to install WP8?
Crazy question, I know.
Thanks.

+ WP8 wouldn't work without locked bootloader since MS requires it.
The only alternative could be Mozilla's Boot to Gecko since it's also based on Linux, but at it's current state, it's not really usable (and by the time it's mature enough, you have most likely already moved to SGS4 or SGS5 )
Forget about windows phones. This question has been asked million times the answer is big no....

TIZEN!!!
Decent chance we will get a WebOS port which will be interesting, dual booting will certainly come in handy then.
