Remove USB and unclick usb debugging from settings. Then plug USB back into PC. Your PC should recognize your tablet now. Now just copy/paste it to your tablet.

have you tried to install pc companion thru Sony Ericsson web site? do that first, it will install needed usb drivers for our phone.
@ necrohades: thanks for your suggest but unlucky i tried. "No phone conected". Is the hardware broken ?
Since you already tried 3 pc. Why not try to change your USB cable then?
i tried e71's usb cable but PC still not recognized.
Might be you need to use generic ADB driver for your phone. USB device not recognized means:
1. USB port is not strongly powered (the front panel USB usually aren't strong in current). Try rear panel USB.
2. ADB (or to be more exact, SE driver for phone) is not installed. Try install generic ADB from Google Android SDK page.

Is your usb cable original Samsung that came with your 9152? If not then you should use an original cable as from experience a duplicate cable will not work with kies, but will charge your phone though.
same thing
I have the same problem. Mayby the kies not capable with windows 8?
I have tried couple versions of kies and i have the original usb cabel. Still the program can not recognize my device..
I am using Android 4.3 (Buildnumber: JSS15J:I9300XXUGML29) and wanted to root it.
If I connect the phone via USB to the PC in normal modus it will be found an recognised (with and without USB debugging switched on) by the PC and the port connected to will be shown by Odin.
As soon as I go into upload mode it will not be seen by the PC (again with and without USB debugging switched on) and Odin does not show anything.
Thanks for any help in advance.

Hi there! First try this:
1. Change USB Cable
2. Change USB Port!
3. Open device manager
4. Look on port tab ... If it have that + click on it...
5. Now and only now plug the phone Powered ON.
6. on this step you should see Lenovo ADB Device/ Lenovo Composite ADB Device
7. This means that your drivers are installed correctly.
8. If you want to flash firmware you need to install another tipe of drivers!
Hei Stympy,
i´ve tried it step by step but there came no notification that there´s a new ADB Device (
any other Ideas?? Maybe it is a USB Port problem of my phone?

I am using a Samsung Galaxy J8 . My phone doesn't have any SD card. I was able to browse files of phone from my PC(ubuntu os) , even I could debug my app from android studio. But suddenly I am not able to do so. When I connect my phone via USB to my PC , it is only charging . What I did so far is following.
1. Enable developer option and usb debugging , changed default usb configuration to file transfer and image transfer and MIDI .
2. Restarted my phone.
3. Restarted my PC .
4. Change of USB cable and port .
5. At last factory reset .
After trying all above things , still I can't connect to phone via usb cable .
I think my pc , usb cable , usb port are working fine . Because when I connected another device , it works fine

Try connecting your phone to another PC/Laptop etc also change cables, if it works then it is the USB port on your PC having issues with the drivers uninstall the drivers from the system menu and reboot your PC. Important to note here is that doing so will also disable your mouse and keyboard so just tap the power key on your PC and it will shutdown.

Since the USB port is working it must be the USB cable/connectors see if you can replace it or test it with another cable, if the cable isn't the problem your USB port on the phone might be partially busted since it will allow for charging not data transfer. Something on the side, on my PC I need to unlock the screen to access my phone drive and SD card did you check for that?

Knox should not interfere with your USB connection.
