[Q] Any way to re-install jobmanager without re-flashing? - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

In a batch of rather over-zealous Titanium Backup uninstalling I removed jobmanager.apk without backing it up. I would now like it back and Im wondering is my only option to reflash to a stock rom and then re-root?

[Q] Can't restore some apps in Titanium Backup???

I'm currently running Bionix 1.7. After flashing, I did a batch restore of apps + data only. Most apps restored fine. I wanted to restore Telenav and Audio Postcard. I selected them in Titanium Backup (they were under the Backup/ Restore tab with a line thru them). The problem is, it doesnt give me the option to restore. Only Backup!, Freeze!, Uninstall!, and Delete. I assume this is because these were system apps. Is there anyway I can restore these while using the JI6 firmware?

Titanium backup can uninstall system app but unable to restore them?

Anyone had this happen? I flashed XXKI3 a while ago and while doing initial tuning I backed up samsung account and temporarily uninstalled it. However when I tried to restore it from backup it's stuck on "restoring" and nothing. Force close Ti backup and retry results in the same.
Fortunately a quick reflash via odin restored it, but now I'm paranoid about uninstall anything with Ti backup, backup is useless if it can't be restored.
At the time I was on either stock or CF root, can't recall which one.
For the future, you should consider freezing apps (Paid version) you don't need before deleting them; much easier to restore if things go wrong.
For me personally, I could always restore uninstalled apps through Titanium though.
I know about freezing, but I needed uninstall to try out some stuff.

Backup question

In preparation for installing Task's ROM, I have rooted my Tab 10.1 and backed everything up using Titanium. I have a couple questions about how the backup works.
The installation instructions for the Task ROM recommend that a stock version of the Samsung ROM be acquired and stored in a safe place. I have been unable to find a down-loadable version of 3.2 for the 7510 so I am wondering if restoring my backup would accomplish the same thing as restoring 3.2 from a copy?
The second question has to do with data and settings from some of my apps. I use the Dolphin browser and spent a lot of time organizing all of my bookmarks into folders created inside the Dolphin app. If after upgrading to the Task ROM, I restore the Dolphin browser from Titanium, will my bookmarks be restored in their newly organized state?
Finally, the instructions for the Task upgrade recommend wiping the Tab after installing the ROM. If I do this, will my Titanium backup files be wiped as well? If so, how will I do the restore? Should I store the Titanium backup on another device and move the files back to the Tab after doing the Task upgrade?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Your TB Backups will be safe. If you restore Apps with data, you should get all app settings restored, but its not always the way.
When I rooted, I created a backup in cwm of my stock Tom (no need to download one now)
To install a custom rom, boot into recovery, create a backup, do a full wipe (factory reset) and then flash the new rom (install from zip)
Then reboot, let it load up (can take a while)
Then restore your TB apps and data (be warned some apps may cause issues with force closing, but so far I've had no issues)

[Q] Restore Stock Apps

I'm on JB STOCK and I tried to Integrate update into ROM using Titanium Backup...it failed deleted my apps but in /system/apps the original packages are untouched. How can I restore them?
Never mind. Flashing the stock recovery and making a factory reset solved the problem.

com.android.certinstaller removed

I was removing some bloatware off my USA T-Mobile P769 and instead of deleting Chrome I deleted this instead.
I have unsuccessfully have attempted to re-install that Titanium Backup and was wondering if anyone could help me restore this without having to reflash a rom and install everything all over again.
Thanks to all those in advance.
