Hello! I seem to have run into an issue with my gf's T-Bolt.... She just recently OTA'd to GB 2.3.4 and the stock alarm is now missing from her app drawer... Would someone be kind enough to please send me the stock alarm.apk?? I would greatly appreciate any help!!! Thank you!
It's still there just hidden, you have to click on HTC clock widget to bring it up.

Ok, cool. Thank you for the reply!
You don't have to click the widget, you can just go into your app drawer and open the app called "clock"

He is on stock, HTC took out the app and makes you click the widget to open it. If you are on a custom ROM the developer edited it so it shows back up in app drawer. Make sure you read the issue before you comment advice.

i purchased an app called call custom launcher icons. it has lots of icons though repeated in diffrent colors. It has some custom drawers too. all i did was long press on the icon i wanted to change (on the app drawer) then when next pop up asking what i wanted to change i pressed icon pic. then it asked where I wanted to look for it I chose the custom launcher icons and scrolled through the icons till i found the one i wanted to use, pressed it and after a few seconds i had a custom icon on the app drawer.
I'm pretty sure I have that app as well and it doesn't work like that!!!

Did you ever figure out the answer to this? I can change icons on homescreen but not in the drawer. What am I missing? Thanks. -GEF
I've flashed cm7 and love it but it does not have the stock alarm and the phone app will not load contacts as you type a number. Can someone please post the stock alarm apk and a better phone app that will work with cm7? Thank you!

The only real problem with the cm7 clock is there are only about about 10 alarms tones to choose from and they are all ****e. And for the phone app, i'm looking for something like the stock app where you start typing the first couple letters of a contacts name and it will give you a list of contacts.

For the phone application, try Go Dialer and Go Contacts. Free on market, and better than both the stock Samsung and AOSP dialers.

Stock apps are tied to the tw framework and will not work on cm7 or miui

Is there anyway to remove the stock messaging icon? I use SMS Pro for texting and would like to replace it with the SMS Pro icon. Is this possible?
Hint! Press settings inside the app.

You can change the dock icons by going into the app drawer, press menu, view type, and select customizable grid. Then you can drag which ever app you want to replace the stock app. I then switch it back to alphabetical grid, but that isn't necessary

All stock apps cannot be uninstalled unless you root the phone.

Huh? I've done that and see no option to remove the stock icon, unless I am overlooking it. Could I get another hint?

Be careful ... uninstalling stock apps can have unintended consequences and issues. Its best to hide them in a folder, or ignore them.

Go into settings and disabled notifications. If you trying to remove the icon from the dock, againg press menu inside the appdrawer. Custom arrangement, drag and drop. Hint! There's a hidden settings in every app by pressing the menu button.

Might want to check a new leak is out, find it in general. Might be fixed in that leak. Don't worry to much about the thank you button, if I want to thank someone I open up browser in menu of app and it loads right to the page you were on in app.

When I try to remove the stock text app icon from the bottom dock on a stock T-Mobile HTC One, it only gives me the option to "Uninstall" it. I don't want to uninstall it, I just want to replace the icon with my Google Voice app.
is there a way too do that? I didn't see anything in the stickies.
