there cwm only need Odin not cwm files
Extract the modem.bin file from the CWM zip & flash in the phone section of Odin.
This modem id the Best with the navigation

Put the amms file of odin rom in the flashable zip of that thread

Hello.
According to this, I have to download "1.1/4.0 KERNEL IN .TAR FOR ODIN" since my phone is not rooted. However, I can't find the "1.1/4.0 version in the list" and if I download the newest version, there's nothing with .tar extension.
Can anybody help me where I can find the file or suggest any other kernel that has CWM? I don't care about the quality of the kernel, I just need the CWM to be able to access my files via USB.

Agreed. That link takes you to a Page of zip files. Can you flash the older tar file via odin in PDA to gain root then flash newest version as a zip via CWM.

I'd flash any version, even the oldest one, but I can't find any .tar files I could flash.
Look further down the Page there is a tar file there

You don't need to re-flash the ROM just download the ROM and extract the file you want from it

I extracted rom and there is IMG files in it and cannot extract IMG files with winrar. Where are apps located?

I have LPG rom. 4.0.3 based rom. To be able to extract from hidden.img I need some kond of utility, winrar won't do the trick. I restored the apk from titanium,backup but it fcs on me.

Did you set permissions properly? Rw-r-r- I'm pretty sure
You need .img to .ext4 converter.
After converting open it in DiskInternals Linux Reader.

i installed makdriod on my pocket and i want to get back to stock so i downloaded a firmware from samasunges updates but it has only one file ".tar" i added it to "pda in odin" but i says fail !!
what to do pleaase
