hello - What differences between the versions :
P7500XWKI2
P7500DXKI2
Only difference in languages?
Thanks
DXKI2 has a newer build date and the Samsung keyboard has been changed. And for me it runs much better.

i see in samfirmware there are topics about the official 2.3.4 FW for the GalaxyAce (SHW-M240S). i did some research and it seems the korean version has a small difference in specs.
1. It has BT 3.0
2. Divx Support
3. Terrestial TV
4. Battery is 1500mAH
so anyone tried the firmware from korea to our S5830 version?
I am sorry if there is a duplication to this thread but
just to share a article which i had found @nfc.cc/archives/948 (Dated 1 November 2011)
The NFC Version of the Galaxy S II was already announcing at the MWC in Barcelona this year. The device comes currently in two versions. One without NFC and one with NFC. The NFC version is already available in Asia(Korea only??). European countries will receive the device in November/December, if requested by the operators. The NFC version of the Samsung Galaxy S II comes with a PN544. The antenna of the device is located in the Battery back. (note the 4-pin connector to the battery; usually there are only 3 pins).
In the non-NFC version the NFC chips itself is missing. You can see the ball grid array where the chips will be placed. Although the Samsung Galaxy S II isn’t equipped with an embedded secure element, this could change in the future. NXP Chip platform is very flexible and the PN544 (no secure element) and the PN65 (with secure element) are PIN compatible. So for the handset manufacture it makes no difference if they use an embedded secure element or not form a production perspective. Nevertheless the PN65 is more expensive as it comes with an embedded JavaCard based smartcard chip – the SmartMX.
So is there any updates regarding a NFC version of the current device being released soon?
It's available from Orange France
http://mobile-shop.orange.fr/telephone-portable/samsung-galaxy-s2-cityzi
It seems in France we (and I ) have a PN55 unsecure, with a secure-through-sim solution for NFC Payment.
Though, I can't use P2P NFC yet (will/should be implemented in 2.3.7 like Nexus S), or in 4.0
Hi !
I have the NFC version of the SGS2 (Cityzi Orange white). I want to change the Orange ROM with the common Samsung ROM. I read that it is not possible today. Do you have information about that ?
Regards
Hello!
Well, anything is possible!
However, if you don't know how to do a proper root, then install CMW, then backup everything, and then test it up...
Then don't do it ;-)

Hi guys im not new to android but im new to samsung phone this is my first samsung phone galaxy s2 coming from my motorola defy. i tried hard to understand every term here in samsung section but to tell you honestly guys i really dont understand what is the meaning of KF1/KH1/KG5 etc. i always see this code but still i cannot distinguish what is 2.3.3 and 2.3.4 in each official firmware. the only term that is really clear in me the regional codes like XW etc... so please guys help me i think if i understand all of this i will very thankful to all of you. please
K = Year
F = Month
1 - Revision
KF1 would be year 2011 (K), month June (F), revision 1.
KG5 would be year 2011 (K), month July (G), revision 5.
It doesn't indicate anything to do with what version of Android they are running.
@oink
From those codes we cannot tell if they are running 2.3.4 or 2.3.3? how do we know if 2.3.4?

Correct, it does not tell you that. In Intratech's list of firmwares, for the newer ones, he has also listed the Android version number.
[ROM+Guide]Official i9100 Firmwares KG, KH1/2/3/4, KI1/2/3/4/8, KJ1/2 Download.
Hello there,
Well here is my issue:
My Samsung Galaxy has low GSM Signal.
I tried to restore the firmware , nothing
I checked around the forums and saw that their are many different Samsung updates from different countries and stuff and i am thinking maybe it has to do with my baseband model or even Kernel
Baseband version : I9300XXLF5
Kernel version: 3.0.15-705505
Buid: IMM76D.I9300XXALF6
Should my build be the same as my Baseband?
If i flash another version (baseband , kernel) will it/could it make any difference?
Regards
Hi!
Sorry for lame question, but ... why there are so many Samsung stock firmware versions for different PDAs? For example on sammobile web page, we have:
Code:
Model Country/Carrier Date Version PDA CSC Kies
GT-I9100 Nordic countries 2013 March I9100XWLSJ I9100OXXLS7
GT-I9100 Kazakhstan 2013 March 4.1.2 I9100XWLSE I9100OXELS6
GT-I9100 Baltic 2013 February 4.1.2 I9100XWLSD I9100OXFLS1
GT-I9100 Brazil 2013 February 4.0.3 I9100VJLPD I9100ZTOLP6
I have thought that PDA codes means some subtle differences in hardware, so there is need for different firmware. But according to advices on this forum, I have updated my phone with different stock firmware with different PDA and MODEM codes, and ... all (almost all) seems to work ok. There is also no difference in android version (all are for JB 4.1.2).
So, why is there such a mess? Couldn't Samsung (like Apple ) publish just one firmware for given combination of android and phone model?
Or maybe, despite the fact all those firmware are for JB 4.1.2, every later firmware contains some additional patches and bug fixes? If this is a true, should I try to replace my current firmware (XXMS1 from January 2013) with newest one (XWLSE from March 2013) and have a hope for fixed sleep of death problem I'm experiencing now? Sure I can just do it and see myself, but this time consuming (especially restoring all application and settings after upgrade) and I want to avoid this waste of time if this idea is completely wrong (I mean flashing just any official stock ROM intended for my model, but not necessary with the same PDA and MODEM codes)?
Best regards.
