don't push your cpu over then the limit....its will fry you cpu....some device can up to 921Mhz.... mayb that is your cpu limit.....
I thought that all tge cpu's are the same
u should seriously read about cpu and overclock, and should seriously consider to stop doing what u didnt know anything about.

So... Why not All CPU can be tweaked??
Isnt the CPU Manufactured by their standard?
Meanwhile My CPU Limit 944 Stable on CM.7.1 Kang RC1. Benchmark result (setting; DataSD, A2SD, CacheSD, HeapSize32 via DarkTremor A2SD, Swap Disabled)

There is no way to go up to 825 with the existing module... The phone hangs and reboots immediatly... Most phones works fine on 729 and 748...
I have no time to look after his post but he said that he is awesome dev so he know what he is doing so those freqwences are for us normal users

guys... You're all fail xD got mine up to 1200 mHz by modding the right files going to post a screen of it next week or something (I'm not anywhere near my dev-comp atm)... But it overheated within 5 minutes and I didn't run it on battery - had a direct powerconnection instead of the battery
BTW: That was awesome fast!
Superb. But i think we are talking about useful oc no only for five mins. You can overclok everything to its limits but you need good tools and sources for that . And oc is personal device side cos every device will overclok in individual way

exactly It was totally only experimental and for proving to myselv, that it was possible Running a stable 749 mHz
My X10 Mini can only go to 748 before freezing on me.
825Mhz ???
It freeze on boot & restarting ...
my phone can't reach 729Mhz only stable at 710
If you want higher freqwences just change voltage of battery this can help because phone could restart depending od the temerature of device smaller voltage =smaller temperature
Sent from my U20i using XDA Premium App
how could i change voltage battery????
Someone already posted small tutorial in the forum i saw this in the big x10 forum. And learn to use the high and mighty search button.

Your phone will be hanged and then u need to reboot it and remember in setcpu dont save the profile to set on boot.....as u will have very less time on startup to change it back to 729mhz....coz this is highest frequency.....if u set the profile on set on boot and OC to 825mhz u may need to update software ........
Sorry for Bad english

You need to use an app like setCPU or Voltage Control to OC
If your on JVP then hands down...... CMenards bullet kernels... there is a 1.2ghz, 1.42ghz (recommended by me), and the crazy 1.54ghz! Good luck running it though. I would say it was about 80% stable when I tried it. The 1.42 and the 1.54 both have smartass governors...... which are sweet.......
SETCPU IS NECESSARY!!!!

One here as well, it doesn't really matter though as it still uses both. Probably just setcpu detecting the information incorrectly.
Try using quadrant standard.. I only get 1 core in quadrant advanced and 2 cores in quadrant standard..
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
At the.time you check it only uses 1cpu.
Your governor is probably set to: ondemand.
So if you do a lot of things fast, and it neeeds another cpu to keep up with you, that's when the second cpu kicks in.
When you can simulate that and open app fast, you will see it detects two cpu's. I had same issue intil I started switching between tabs really fast and checked back; two instead of one.
Try it.

Standard got ads. Advanced doesn't.
This is also why you see 1 in advanced, and 2 in standard. For the standard version it needs more cpu-power to do everything the app asks for; permissions, ads etc. advanced doesnt have this so thats why you see one. (less actions, less cpu-power needed.)
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
Quadrant doesn't truly support 2 cores, therefore it sometimes shows 1, other times 2.

But quadrant score doesnt actually show you the actual performance of your phone, it's not to be taken seriously.
(Don't even have quadrant or any benchmark apps installed anymore)

What application did you used in performing such test? You can overclock the gpu and cpu for better results. And also..turn off the power saving mode before benchmarking because it affects the result.
Benchmarks have nothing to do with real-world usage, in fact many optimizations for real-world usage will cause Quadrant to massively drop.
It there anything performance-wise you are unhappy with and if so: whah.
I'd strongly recommend retaining from overclocking unless you know exactly why you need it and what you are doing (something 99% of people don't seem to get)
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
No i dont need any overclocking.. i used Antutu.. getting just 50% marks in a test.. that was bothering me.. otherwise performance wise theres absolutely no problem..

You should do the benchmark test when your phone is cool.
I've noticed that I get about 12K when it's cool, and about 8K-9K when it's after some use.
