Hi,

No, It's the same. The problem is if a new mail comes the last mail received is deleted. I don't want this.

Hi,
something strange happened to me: I had to hard reset my phone and I thougt I'll do an update on it, this is the perfect opportunity. I dowloaded Version 5.1.195 from HTC eClub and installed it. It works fine, but I can not find a way to create a new IMAP or POP3 mail account for myy private Email. The company email works well via the Outlook account.
If I run tmail, I see the accounts SMS, Outlook, MMS but there is no right-key menu and therefore I can not create a new account.
Anybody has seen this? Or am I just blind?
Thanks for any help,
Thanxx, Mixx
OK, never mind.
I went into the SMS account and selected Options there. Sure enough, on that menu there is a "New Account" entry.
Sorry, I should have found this earlier. And I do not think it is logical to put that option there at all.
Thanxx, Mixx
Is there a way to integrate gmail as well as k9 mail into the univeral inbox.
The other option would be to integrate text messages into k9 mail. Are either of these possib.e
Just an FYI, K9 isn't supported anymore. the Dev's broke up or something.
The new version is Kaiten (K10) and is still being updated.
If you email Jesse (the dev of the app), he might be able to help. He's pretty friendly.
Awesome I look for that one. Do you know if there is anyway to do what I asked with k10.
Hi,
I use my phone mostly for work related things and I find the default email client to be quite hopeless. If I set it up as a premium a/c, then as soon as I read an email, all mails are marked read. If I don't set it as a premium, I can't use the push mail feature and thenceforth have to set it on a periodic poll. Also here the email notifications are quite unreliable.
I was on 2.3.3 and recently flashed to 2.3.5 and I sees no difference at all.
So I use touchdown, but it has its own share of problems.
I would just like to know how you all are dealing with this. (I expected Samsung to pack a powerful email apparently, but looks like its not on their list of things)
Thanks
Vishal
I use Kaiten mail due to the same problem you have had with stock mail client. Setup your email for imap and it becomes true push email with Kaiten mail. Very nice program.
[This may not be the right place to post this question. If its not, my apologies, and please direct me to the correct forum.]
Is there a way to configure the "Send email" voice command to use K9 mail? Would an app like Vlingo provide this option?
When I use the built in voice command and say "Send email to John Smith", it loads the email address, listens for and fills out the body of the email, then prompts me to send. When I say "Send", a notice flashes on the screen saying "Message wasn't sent." I'm assuming its trying to use the gmail app, but I dont have accounts configured in gmail, and have syncing disabled for the app. I've set K9 mail as my default email app, and configured a default send account within K9 mail.
My device (Asus TF701T tablet) is new to me and new on the market so I'm waiting to root it. (Mainly because Asus won't honor the warranty on a rooted device.) If there's a method to do this, with or without root, please let me know,
- John
Hi guys,
is there a way to receive instant email notifications (push) with the stock email app? Something like Aquamail or K9 Mail do, without relying on scheduled email check...
Thanks!
Hi same question here, does the native email app has push ?
I added my email with IMAP but push seems not working like it does on k9 mail.
Any idea or suggestion ?
Thanks.
