Hi Galaxy ace Guys,
I'm starting a port over for the LG Optimus One
I'm having Ubuntu problems and i cannot download Source, Modify source that i put on an USB; it's really p*ssing me off.
Can someone post up a .zip of the stock rom (not a flashable) that is 2.2(.1)
or also 2.3.3 if you have it. We have libs for 2.3.3, 2.3.4, 2.3.5, and 2.3.7 but the last 3 are CM7 and i dont want to merge with cyanogenmod
Thanks Guys!
I may try and port LG 2.3.3 (or .4) for your galaxy ace
u can just download odin flashable rom from samfirmware and extract the system.img using magiciso if ur in windows, or just mount it as fat if ur in linux.
Though it's a bad idea to pick the Ace firmware, riddled with bugs.

Hey Guys,
I am wondering is it possible to downgrade my SGA CM7 [2.3.7] to the 2.3.4 ROM just by CWM Recovery Restoring? I don't know any other way to do it if it's possible, I only want to know out of curiosity I am a Big N00B -.-
P.S. I would post this in development but this is my first Post :L
Thanks, Shane!
Why don't you try to flash via odin?
I've used ODIN to downgrade/Flash my 2.3.7 CM7 ROM to the stock 2.3.4 Rom.
I'm not sure with the CWM Recovery Restoring method as It might produce some conflicts.

U cant restore a stock rom on cm7 using cwm restore. Basically stock roms r in rfs format & cm7 converts it to ext format. So in order to convert d system back to stock rfs, u need to flash a full package rom using odin. After u flash stock firmware, u can restore ur backup using cwm. U can download d full package firmware from samfirmware.com

You can upgrade your stock rom to 2.3.* via ODIN, then flash a custom rom

Are you kidding me ? That was a bad answer .
All versions of Android can flash custom ROMs .
NoName V1 for Froyo by an0nym0us_ explains it
Herpderp DXKPB.
- download GingerBread Stock ROM then flash it with Odin
- root it then download CWM Recovery or Install it from market and download this one too recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.6-galaxyace-fix.zip
- after installing CWM Recovery apk or from market, open it and go to recovery
- choose install update from zip then choose the zip file recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.6-galaxyace-fix.zip

just curious, have anyone tried to convert stock rom odin files into a cwm flashable zip? i heard that odin can sometime brick your phone. so was curious if there exists such ddkq8 flashable zip so that stock rom can be installed easy
*Facepalm*
All stock based ROMs on xda are made by extracting odin's md5 files -.-

Kies can brick your phone, I dont think ODIN bricks phones. I have flashed a hell lot of times using ODIN before I learnt how to make CWM flashable stock ROMs

If you use the wrong cable then odin may brick your phone

Odin is not that hard to use it just taakes some practise .....flash like about 4 times and u r a pro already ( when flashing for the first time via odin i wasnt scared at all of bricking it as i already had experience of bricking it once with Rom Manager --- that experience has made me a tough man )

yeah bro i know that and one can't forget stocklite rom when it comes to simplicity + speed on stock :-D:-D
what i'm asking about is a pure stock rom flashable zip.. no script nothing at all.
i mean flashing through cwm seems easier than odin flashing
Whit the ICS roms the kernel cames into a Zimage file, but, in the new Stock Roms JB I can't find it !

2) Which are the best ROM's to flash on the HCL ME U1 tablet and If yes, are there any available as of now?
Thanks in advance.

Just extract it,then open mptool.exe and just click on derringer, then. .pak file you have to choose I.e vortex.pak, it is extracted file.then connect your tab with dwnld mode and flash it
