ringtone volume on mtd - Fascinate Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Running TSM pool party, I have great volume while on a call and listening to music through speaker. The only time my volume sucks is with ringtones, though volume bar is maxed. Any way I can make it louder?
Device Info:
TSM Pool Party 1.5, adrenaline 12

if you toggle the volume all the way down then back up to max its still low?

Yeah. I've tried different ringtones and nothing seems to fix it. I wonder if it's some correlation with deep sleep?
Device Info:
TSM Pool Party 1.5, jt's 3 button recovery fix kernel, Adrenaline 12

try glitch...my call and ringtone vol. is plenty loud. but I thought that was fixed in jt's kernel aswell?

Ringer Volume... [Q]

Hi evreybody!
I am currently running Bi-Winning V2... before that Simply Honey (2.5, 2.72) and Loki 2.41a... All of them have one thing in common:
The ringer volume, even maxed out, is very low.
I remember, on stock, the volume was LOUD. VERY LOUD.
Could it be that this is related to voodoo?!?

[Q] Volume low, Solution?

I just got my TB about a week ago, And the volume is VERY low compared to my Incredible. Is there a kernel that will boost my volume or an app or something? I'm using Das Bamf at the moment. I can barely hear my ringtone unless its right next to me.
No one else has this problem and found a solution? :|
volume rocker is on the right of the phone. Turn it up. =]
^_^_^
if ur das bamf rom is the gingerbread version download volume+ works amazing. this will make ur volume much louder. but only works on gingerbread not froyo.

[Q] In-call volume CM7

Hello,
I flashed JT's CM7 (Test build 7) yesterday, and I absolutely love it.
However, I have a problem involving In-call volume.
If I press the up and down volume buttons to adjust in-call volume, the volume stays the same although the graphic indicator bar moves.
For all the other volume settings (like media volume, alarm volume, etc) seem to be OK.
Am I the only one who's experiencing this problem? =(
Can anybody please help me to fix this issue?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, everyone is having that problem. It is a problem with the libaudio driver. It was a hacked driver from the nexus s that was hacked even more on top of that just to get it to the level of functionality that it has now. When jt has some time, I'm sure he will rewrite libaudio and the volume issue will be improved.

Global volume control

Coming from sense and cm7 on other phones I was surprised the sgs2 didn't have this by default.
Is there any way for the volume keys to control the global volume for the phone?
Meaning
Ringing
Notifications
Alerts and so on
I mean I put my volume low not to disturb people sometimes but the volume for the other things seems to stay at the levels selected under settings-sounds-volume
Other phones with various roms had an option for
Use ring volume for all sounds which avoided this issue. Is there a way around this issue? I would use miui or cm7 normally but they are too buggy for this phone right now.
Had my phone volume at lowest above silent yesterday and then got a notification which woke up my baby daughter cause volume for notifications was at 50% in settings.
Not cool
Thanks for any help on this

+one for this
Right now I have to resort to using apps that make profiles. Which I didn't have to use this old method of changing my ringing or a 3rd party app

[Q] Headphone volume won't change

I'm currently on Fourth Bar: Revolution rom for the P7510 with Yoda's v2.2 kernel. The problem I'm having is that when I plug headphones in, the volume intensity appears to be maxed and won't change. The volume rocker is working and changes the volume slider on the screen. When just using the speakers everything works fine. I am using voodoo to have the volume at a listenable level but if a movie gets quiet I have to close out to increase via voodoo every time. Is there some audio mod in the rom that I missed? Thanks!
