Pls check your hboot before, if you are a very lucky guy you could got hboot 08
To check hboot, shut down your phone complelty:
- uncheck fastboot in settings->power and power off your device
- are just pull the battery ^^
Now press volume up, hold it and press the power button and hold it too.
Wait a few secs and on ht second line should be your hboot version.
if it's 08 at the end, come back here or google "Revolutionary.io"
I got EVO 3d from Rogers and I had the 1.49.0008 bootloader so you should be able to get full s off and root

I don't think so mate, been waiting for 2½ months for Team Rev's release and no ETA mentioned.. I loosed hope!
I sold my previous device same as yours - HBOOT 1.49.0011 (asian version - Hong Kong) and bought a new device an older version of shipped batch .. luckily I've got the HBOOT 1.49.0007 (european version - Italian)..
Got a lot of trouble searching for an old version, 3 days to be exact! - Wheew!

After reading this I will also sell mine. Hboot 1.49.0013 be even less likely. The Evo 3d is such a cool phone but needs s-off to get full potential. Will stick with my Desire.
Sold after 1 hour on Facebook.
Are those GSM only hboots? Mines at 1.5
I just installed an OTA that contains certain security fixes but found out the screen capture (power + home) no longer works. Anyone experience the same?

Lol I think everyone that posted above you has the GSM version.
Lol it's too early to scope out everyone's profile...
Oh yes, mine is GSM version. But my power+home was working fine before the OTA

Hi Albert
Yes I've completed the update, I also have 1.22.708.5 and screen capture still works the same as before for me.
Have you tried a factory reset?

Yeah I tried applying RUU + OTA update and screen capture is there. Since I am not using custom ROM I need to find out what did I done to the phone hahaha...
Can anyone tell me which apk is responsible for the screen capture function?
EDIT: I give up, I redo all the changes to the ROM after RUU + OTA and power+home capture is still here. Case closed.
Hello
I made on your phone with hboot 1.49.00018 downgrade through HTCdev
I then made through the revolutionary S-OFF
I then recorded the RUU and choose FastBoot oem writesecureflag 3 gave the phone to the state S-ON
but on my screen instead LOCKED light RELOCKED
how to achieve it again to be on display LOCKED??
Not possible to change this again. Wrong section by the way...
Sent from my HTC EVO 3D
IF U Unlock it. then relock it.it will change to Relocked....no way to get it to Locked @NOW
I may have a way if your prepared to try it as something strange happened to mine using HTC supertool

Don't know if it'll work across carriers, but I used revolutionary for s-off and bootloader unlock then renamed and flashed a zip from one of these threads. Bootloader changed back to locked, didn't say relocked.

That's because you used rev to s off

In theory, could he use rev, to unlock again then relock via pb**img.zip? (Cant remember) to get the bootloader back to locked?

I agree..
But anyway, back on topic.
The phone came LOCKED.
once you Unlock it, you can only RELOCK it.
There's no way to completely lock it again unless you use a goofy method or you send it back to HTC for a complete flash.
I would love to know what that goofy method is so my insurance claims don't get denied.

Insurance can't get denied because of it. However, warranty can be denied but the chances of Sprint actually checking on this are very slim.
Basically, send it to Sprint for warranty if it isn't an actual insurance claim.

I haven't heard of anyone fixing that part yet.. Just a line of text maybe some code that would need to be screwed with but noone has fixed it yet.
I used the Unlock Bootloader on my Evo 3D CDMA Sprint process completes 'successfully' but fastboot screen says unlocked & S-ON. I have version 1.58.0000 on ICS 4.03. Isn't this process supposed to give me S-OFF as well?
No, you need to do the wire trick for s off

Why you don't try and tell us?
Even phone is listed I don't believe you can do it without wire trick. So try it and report. What can go wrong?
