Since I have gone back to stock, I really miss the extended power control widget where I can add more than the default
Is it possible that I can use this in a stock rom, and can anyone give me the apk plz
Thanks

I assume its the same as the lockscreens, ie its part of the framework of cyanogen so no its not really possible.

Ive tried making my own theme including this using this awesome kitchen: http://circle.glx.nl/
I would love to have the Power options (GPS, WiFi, BT, etc) in the pull down, anyone know how?
I checked out this page: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=885326&page=2
And pulled the framework apk from this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=764787
When I tried using the framework from evils Desire port and I clicked on the option in the kitchen it would error out, when I used the framework from the rom above it was fine. Phone booted, no issues, but since it is not from this device its missing things, and menus are spaced with blank areas.
Sorry for the super noob questions, but can someone point me to a guide on how to incorporate this feature on our Roms?
The Galaxy S style Notification Bar controls are something I really miss about my Vibrant. If I wanted a list of recently opened apps, I can long press on Home
one more vote for notification area power controls!
like this ?
+1 for pull down power menu..

Widgetsoid
I know you are trying to implement it into a rom. If anyone is just looking for this feature, give Widgetsoid a try.
Hi
Tried this but not the best thing. This requires the widget to be on the screen as well. Also what I see in the HD forum is to get rid of the latest used app and the carrier name.

Actually you are incorrect. This doesnt require the widget to be on the home screen. You can have it only in the notification bar. This app did take a minute to get set up how I wanted but it is GREAT!!! One of the biggest things I was missing from CM7 was this feature and now I can make sure to have it on any rom I am running.
Anyway to do it right now? I want it completely gone and just want to use Widget Locker.
I think can delete it with root explorer and replace it with the aosp one

When I use widget locker it doesn't bring the sense 3.0 lock screen.

There's an app for that...
it's called NO LOCK in the market. I use it and go back and forth between the lock screen and then no lock when I want to eliminate it.

Does cyanogen have a touch panel feature in one of its builds to add like a menu, back, home button on the status bar?
If so, how would i add that to another build?

Yes, but it's on its own status bar at the bottom of the screen (for tablets).
CM7 has it in the pull down status bar also.
It's call the Notifiction power widget.
It's under CM settings> Interface

Of course it could be, you just enable it in cyanogen, but since my phone has those keys, I don't really need it personally.
If you mean porting to something not running cyanogen, that would require taking it out of the cyanogen source and adding it to whatever you are using.
Im creating this firmware for an outdated phone because people are having problems with hard buttons so i figured a feature like this would help
Alrighty il take a look

Ah, that makes sense why you wanted it now. The only problem I can think of is the latest cyanogen uses 2.3.5 android os, so if you are porting it to something else not at least using gingerbread, it could be problematic with some of the libraries/dependencies and require massive backporting.
0uch, alright so I would have to rebuild everything to gain a feature like that?
Mmm yeah I think I'll stick to button savior...

Any chance we can see a stock ics rom modded yo include the touch action buttons on the home screen? AOKP has the option. I like the look of it anD the ability to see running apps.

This needs to deodex the system. And there are some files missing to get it fully deodexed. Dut until then you can use Widgetsoid 2.x or Notification Toggles, both found in Play Store. Both will get you working power controls in the notification bar.
Someone might correct me if I'm wrong..
Thank you for your response, i was refering to the nexus style ics buttons under dock bar though

Of course, when I get home my internet service provider is having maintenance and they've disconnected the internet for the whole suburb lol
Installed and running quite nicely. Best of all worlds? Thanks very much for the effort to provide this!
Battery life is the problem. I've lost 60% in 3 hours with no usage at all. Screen off.

Anyone got any feedback on sound. Incall sound as well as speaker sound. Using Rootbox I had very low sound. Only the NEAK kernel and mods fixed it. I just wanted to know if here the sound is also low. Thanks.

Having difficulty with expanding notification and stays bar. Also have issue with turning on Accessibility settings for one of my app (only succeed after a few reboots). It seems that I always encounter this issue with RB embedded roms.

Thank you for a really nice ROM! Very good options to configure the ROM to whatever one wants it to look and behave.
I haven't been going through the settings so much today, but here's some minor issues I found:
Settings/Themes: It is no difference between choosing MIUI or MIUI Dark. I suppose MIUI should have "normal" MIUI white background, but instead it is dark grey.
MIUI launcher settings: When setting a ringtone the popup says "Ringtong set successfully", it should be "Ringtone"
I will enjoy this smooth ROM a lot, and go through all the settings and really customize it Thank you!
