There's a new phone to the L series. Looks kinda like the 4x but lower specs. The icons look good and has some handy new features...

I got this phone yesterday, it feel nice and good in hand. And it is surprising fast too.
Really like Quick Translator, did works good. Tried with some Swedish -> Thai. Just hope mods get kick on this phone so root will be available.
Would love to use Link2SD on it.
Cool device and I love it
Pretty old specs for a new phone :/
How much did it cost?
planning to buy one for 79euro with 10 euro contract ... it will replace the old faithfull galaxy s :crying: .... still emotionally attached to it, so it will be a hard time for me ... awaiting more feedback from those of you who allready bought it.. what about battery life ? thanks

That's because it was made as a midrange phone and not as a top end. Excellent for those who are loyal to LG products but can't afford the best of the best.

I personal love it very much, really like white version and it feel good in hand. Nothing special that I could come up with that is bad.
It have what you need, it look more expensive than it is hehe. Well downside I could come up with is camera, wish there was more MP but well look at the price, for the price this phone is really good. Oh one more thing, intern storage should have been larger, but if someone come up with root for this device you can easily use Link2SD.
Love battery life, it's excellent! It's so sexy XD

Not yet, please ask that here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1660354
the more we ask the more chance we have to get a forum for this device
go do that NOW
just got 4300 mah battery from over seas , it took over a month and a half to get , now i can see how long it lasts on max settings all the time
4300?
Link please.
i got it for 12 dallors =)
http://www.dinodirect.com/4300mah-extended-battery-w-cover-for-sprint-htc-evo-3d-phone.html
but it took over a month to get =/
Can you validate actual capacity for us? I already have a 4000. I wouldn't mind paying 12 for a 4300 if true.
I used battery Dr saver app , cause was one I found that showed the battery life also posted my benchmark if it will help
That doesn't show us anything. Get an app that shows actual data, like this:
That was from LBE Security Master. I know there's other apps out there, but that's the only one I know of that's always accurate since I use multiple batteries.
This is my seidio 4000 mAh battery.

I found the app in the play store but it's in Chinese, how did you get English?
Hi, I have a 3500 mAh battery from DX.com, 4000 mAh one from seidio ( the best one, but that ugly cover!) and finally this cheap 4300 mAh battery from Dino.
Size of Dino battery is the same as DX 3500 one, cover is very similar. But Dino battery is better, last longer. I "measured" capacity by battery monitor widget, so here is compare picture.

Hello, mates, I just recently noticed this beautiful phone and I am looking forward to getting one. I've been reading reviews on the net and posts here on xda, and I still haven't made my mind. Do you like this phone and would you recommend it, or better should I buy some other phone for the same price? I noticed, that people complain about poor battery life and lack of official lenovo support. Is that right?
Thanks for answers and cheers!

I'm now one week user. I tried offical rom and custom rom.
Phone is very nice. I love it. I want to share + and - 's with you.
+ Phone's exterior is very different. attracts everyone's attention. you cant compare it with Samsungs toy plastic body. Its nice
+ Screen is very good. 1080p giving very good experiance with photos videos.
+ Camera is good .( but after custom rom i cant get same performance... Sadly.)
+Antutu is 22000. Thats enough for me.
+ I never faced with stupid erors as my old gionee
- Lenovo forget the put a cooler fan to phone. (I'm serious.. Think a gaming laptop without a cooling fan) You can use this phone in winter under the blanket or, you can cook pizza on it. Your call.
- There is no LPG or diesel engine on it, that means that heating taking it's energy from battery. (Total life is 1 day.)
- Wifi is very fast but signal performance weak i think. (maybe its about my custom row rom)
- Lenovo dont care about the k900 users anymore. We already gave our money, why do they waste their precious times with us ha?..
Latest + coment is,
+ We have still rom developers for K900 indeed and they are still working for us.. Many thanks to them.
Final: It has too many negative comments but still i'm happy to be a user of K900.. If some day our developers can provide 4.4Kitkat, it will be perfect. :good:
Hey, thanks for response. Pros are exactly what I though to myself. Could you give more info about your usage and standby usage, what is the most battery draining stuff (wifi, mobile data and etc.)? I really love the looks of this baby but will it be used with all it's potential in europe? Are qubex or vibe roms are used further than asian region?
Cheers!

Chinese company Oukitel is going to release a dual-sim smartphone with huge battery which will have the capacity of 10000 mAh.
According to the company in theory it will allow you to use the phone for one week without charging it
First photos of the phone you can see here: Oukitel

If it requires more time to charge it's because has more battery. Anyway it depends mainly on use mA that the battery is capable of draining when charging.

I don't know if I did right thing, but I just ordered this phone from this shop: http://www.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_204428.html
I couldn't see yet the complete specifications, for example if has optical image stabilization, is has infrared port, barometer, radio through earphones, etc. Also no idea how warranty will be managed depending on the country you live in.

i am really starting to like this phone. mainly because of the battery. but i am still a bit on the fence about those mediatek SoC's they put in them. how much effort is there to make our own ROM's for this thing? epecially for removing all the chinese junk, rooting and making it as vanilla android as possible?
Not only that, I wonder if even has optical / digital image stabilization for taking pictures. Why best smartphone manufacturers don't do this kind of phone?

some phones if they are popular, then there is always custom ROMs etc... also lately I did not saw some many chinese junk... they are coming more or less clean.
about optical / digital image stabilization, they have not yet reached this level
There's another rival for the Oukitel K10000: the Ulefone Power. It has a little less battery (6200 mAh instead of 10000) but the rest of the hardware is better.

Hi.
I really tempted by this phone but I see a few threads were people are having issues. These are bad battery, bad screens, bad fingerprint reader, overheating.
I see that the New Edition is out now. I wonder if this is an admission from Xiaomi that the original was flawed.
The original is now £329 and will soon be OS and the NE is £399.
Would it be crazy to buy the original now?

Hello!
Personally, i like this phone.
I think his design is really cool looking, and the battery life is AMAZING.
Personally, i'm using the Pixel Experience ROM with android 11, because the 12 is in alpha, and battery sucks with it on my phone.
The display isn't that bad, but there is a post already talking about the fact that there is two types of screen. Please, take that in consideration before purchasing!
The photo quality isn't that bad either, but, my friend having a Pixel 4a makes better photos than that. You may even be able to get a Pixel 5 for cheap, nowdays.
I don't know anything about the "NE" model that has been released by Xiaomi, but maybe it has a better camera and battery. You may check review on the web.
By the way, never had bad fingerprint reader issues, and no overheat even in the worst case cenarios. Battery maximum was at 32°C.

Instead of the original one, you can buy the new 11 Lite NE 5G which is better in all aspects. I'm using it for a month now and it is smooth compared to the old one, also the performance is good.

The NE is the exact same phone relaunched with a less powerful SoC - 778G instead of 780G - in response to global chipset shortages. The real-world performance difference is negligible (for graphics intensive tasks the original 780 is superior).
