is it right that CyanogenMod will no longer support/make/develop new "ROMS" for the touchpad?
i´ve read it somewhere

I love when ppl say I've "read" but don't link and also don't go to the source such as cyanogen website. I believe ppl like you make threads to see if you can start a wild fire before some one says otherwise. I would submit to the MODs to delete this thread.....

The problem is, you could have went to rootwiki or their site to find out and post facts. The other problem this should be in q and a not developement.
It's like me saying, I read somewhere there are free touchpads from HP but don't have proof or link.

Also think about it, if trying to avoid conflict esp since you don't have source just throw out the 'I heard this...' part and just simply ask if cm is still working on improving the touchpad =)

What little content there is difficult to find under a pile of duplicate threads asking when CM7 is going to be released or why their HKTW 2.3.4 Atrix is telling them they have an update. Multiple threads every day asking the same question just wastes the time of anyone trying to find actual content on here.
I swear, they should require moderator approval for the creation of new threads around these parts.

we should hope not! ha. Well, at least if it does take a decade to come out it better not be that disappointing.
Since nobody has said anything about this milestone yet, dragonzkiller has announced on twitter about 6 hours ago that CM9DX2 alpha might be released either tonight or tomorrow! Big props to him for working so hard on getting ICS onto our phones.

So, I'm curious, what benefits do we get from cm9 as opposed to cm7? Ics is nice, but will there be new features? Or is it just a cleaned up GUI. I know that ics should be able to multi-thread when gingerbread can't, so is that going to happen with our phones? (my guess is not until kexec starts working)

Well as of right now, only dragonzkiller knows how much ICS it will bring us. If its a full CM9 port, Im sure we will have all of the ICS features unless some things dont work. But this is a first Alpha so I'm sure not everything will work. It's just a wait and see right now.

Im sure there will be quite a few things not working at first. He's probably only releasing it because he has the main stuff working like data, wifi, cellular network, hopefully sms. I've been watching some videos on cm9 and saw that some other ports didnt have the camera working.

Why is it everytime I see u comment in a thread its something negative trying to get on someone about something? And its always over something that's no big deal. He didnt do anything wrong, he searched and didn't see anything so he posted it, people miss things its ok. This is a place to help and inform, not to yell over small errors. Now if there had been 10 other threads about this subject, then I'd understandyour frustration. Just try and relax a little man that's all I'm sayin.

i dont think he missed anything... the xda search feature isnt really that good. (everytime i search for something it never comes up with relevant results. ex: search for jellybean, i get things for gingerbread and other crap)
sometimes i just go to google and type "amaze jellybean xda" and the thread im looking for will be the top 5

So since I can't seem to find it anywhere. I'm going to ask here. What happened to him? And why are all the roms gone? Who are people saying he was? And everyone kangs others builds. He's been at least doing something with multiple roms for us. So why ban him?

I pm'ed the mod about it just asking why so I can be an informed rom flasher. I don't want to use work that goes uncredited, if that's the case. As far as i can gather Lense flare is actually some other dev who got banned for some shysty stuff. Anyone actually know?

Ya I'm just a flasher, not a dev and I understand these guys spend a lot of time making roms. So I understand that people don't want their hard work stolen. But looks like he knew a little something about roms and was trying to improve them. So looks like we lost another dev, notta is gone, deck don't really come here anymore, prelude is gone, mik gone. Oh and even the miui.us crew is gone

Look he broke the rules. Flat out blatantly broken and even admitted to such....
