I have the New DJ Steve Rom installed on my phone and every time I put my sim card in it works fine for a min then it starts random reboots. When I take it out it stays stable. What could I do to stop this from happening? Is it because the nex sim card I got for my 4g phone causes this to happen? I followed his steps to a tee.

I have an unlocked HTC hero. Didn't drop it or anything, just put it to charge.
And now it's saying there is no SIM card in it.
I've tried moving everything around, still nothing.
Turns out the SIM card died
Problem fixed.
Having been on Sprint for the last 10 years & never used a phone with a sim card, I'm hoping this is an easy fix. For the last several days, I've been getting a pop up on my screen that says sim card removed, reboot phone. Sometimes when I reboot it works, sometimes it takes several reboots. Do you guys think it's just a bad card, or do you think it's the sim card reader itself? Anyone ever had this happen before?
Just pop into an AT&T store and swap for a new one. That should give you the answers.
So my htc amaze has recently started giving me some problems. It just lost its service one day and it comes back once in a blue but then it goes away. I am running stock ICS. When i start the phone it gives me a "system process has stopped working" error message. ANd it doesn't get service. When i go to check the APN settings it tells me "No sym card is detected" I've restore to factory but still have the same problem.
Sound like either you have a bad SIM Card or Bad Sim Card Slot. It's possible that it could be a issue with T-Mobile because my S3 was doing the same thing 2 days ago. Did you try a new SIM card yet.

yes. i get i new sim card, but still the same problem. I reset to factory
This some times happens to me also. But it goes away after a reboot. If a reboot doesn't clear it up call T-Mobile for a replacement.

Recently switched from AT&T to Straight Talk. Whenever I have the AT&T SIM card inserted the phone runs fine, as soon I put in the Straight Talk SIM card, the phone reboots randomly. This happens 4-5 times a day.
APN is set to StraightTalk ATT (att.mvno). Are there any other settings I need to change?
Any input is appreciated!
EDIT: I'm using MROM Olympus btw (latest).
Anyone?
