Hello all,
Wanted to share this for those with a Flyer or Evo View, I figured this out this weekend..
Movies wanting to add to HTC Watch for viewing:
You can add a movie into the folder located in the internal SD (IntSD/.data/ htcwatch/ preloads/ ) and if it has 2 names then rename it. Example: Green Lantern to Green_Lantern.mp4 If it has one name the it's just Thor.mp4
To add a poster for the film the the picture size must be 300*444 and "must" be jpeg/jpg for it to show, it also "must" be renamed the same Green_Lantern.jpg same with poster if its one name then it's Thor.jpg
I took a pic from phone to show films I added showing it works.. Enjoy!
Thanks, great information. Will add some movies soon.

My pleasure, will continue seeing what other things we can add, create, mod on this tab...
That's good, but HTC Watch doesn't work in some countries, like here in South Africa. I prefer to use Real player or CineX player to watch movies/series, & access them through the Gallery or an explorer app
I use RockPlayer on phone, Nook Color and Flyer.
Thanks for the tip. Do the movie files have to be mp4?
Moboplayer works great for me most of the time.

I am trying to load my movies and pictures that I have onto my flyer and can't seem to get them to play or show. Is anybody else having any luck getting this done?

hm....very easy...connect Flayer to PC as Disk Drive - create a directory Video, Pictures....the you might able to see via Gallery or any file manager... take a look at the screen shoots
Double Twist worked well for me. It integrates with iTunes nicely.
However, Google Music Beta and Amazon MP3 cloud players have made local sync almost not necessary.
Thank you for the response and help. That is what i thought and basically what i did but still not able to see them or play them.

Does anyone know where movies that you download on the Watch app are located. I would like to be able to place mine downloaded movies into that folder so they could show up in the Watch Widget.
Basically I want to be able to say download a video file not using the watch app but use the watch app and widget to play the videos
I could be wrong, but i think watch is streaming only.
Crap because I love how the widget looks. O well.
On mine it stores the downloaded movies to the sdcard/.data/HtcWatch/files/

Yes, you are wrong. It's "progressive downloading" meaning basically that you watch it as it downloads (giving you the same functionality as streaming but you get to keep a copy for later on without having to worry about an internet connection).

Thank you for that.
Now it seems like the only other problem is Watch can only play .mp4
Well I tried to place a .mp4 into that file location and I still can not get the file to show up in the widget. Their must be something else going on that I am not smart enough to figure out. O well.
It only reads wav or wmv I think

No if you go into that folder torseni5t posted you will see that the preloaded trailers are .mp4

I have one album doing the same thing, and everything matches.

Look for a tag editor that can see more than the basic tags (more likely to find one on pc). The tag "album artist" I think takes priority over the tag "artist" but most of the time "album artist" isn't visible. I ran into this a while back.

I didn't want to create a new thread, so I hope it's okay if I post a question here.
I'm on my 3rd EVO 3D because the other 2 had call quality issues. When I played music on the other EVO's, some of the songs would show the lyrics. On the EVO I have now, it's not showing the lyrics anymore. How do I get that back?

Yes I'm using the stock music app. My previous EVO showed the lyrics, but this one doesn't. I've looked everywhere to see if I have to turn on a feature and I can't find anything.
Hi guys just to let you know I have found the best 3d converter and its xilsoft 3d converts to mp4 on the fly no more having to use handbrake crap results are fantastic takes approx 30mins and that's on my slow machine don't forget the thanks button

google thinks you meant xilisoft 3d? forgot an i or is google wrong? hehe, either way, downloading the free one now, hoping it doesn't put a watermark on my videos lol
Edit:
Trial version only converts first 3 minutes of video's. (which is fine for most music videos so meh )
Try putting your search into YouTube may find a link to a more comprehensive version cough

Thread hijack, but is 3dvplayer the first 3d video player for the EVO 3D besides then built in player?
Google says it plays all formats including Chinas New 3dv format and supports EVO.
I cannot find it on Market, is it China region locked?
---------- Post added at 02:29 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:00 PM ----------
SWEET, it is a 3d video player, played the 3d vids recorded with the EVO cam and a gameloft intro video in mp4 format.
It also has a network front end, like a small Chinese 3d YouTube, but it never downloaded a single byte from the Chinese servers.
Yes it has 2d to 3d conversion, it puts the video deeper into the screen, still flat though.
Hilarious chinglish translations everywhere...
Thanks foe the tip.
Yeah this is not on the market you have to Google it

Ok. Thanx.
Started a New thread about it here, the plan is to benchmark it against the stock player and see if it supports more formats/functions.

And the thanks go to me for telling you that you tettenkop!
I havo not found disscussioin, so:
Why some vodeo 3d files (shooted by camera, or some demo trailers of 3d tvs) phone opens immediately in 3d mode, but other sbs videos player starts to play with tvo separate puctures, and i ned to switch in player into 3d mode manually? Is there some simple way to make phone recognize such sbs video files as 3d?
If it is possible, it will let to launch remote video files in such players as modoplayer or esplayer with mkv containers and stream them onto phone. I tried to open in such way shooted file on build in canera via wifi from my pc to phone, and es player easily opened it in 3d mode.
Maybe someone has answer how to modify files?
I have read somewhete, that enough to add in file name tag 3D and phone will recognize it as 3d, but my phone do not accept such trick
Hey Guys,
Many of you might use google movies to organized your movies but I personally like this one. I wanted something that shows my movies with cool posters.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...ult#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS5taXoubWl6dXUiXQ..
It list your movies with movie poster and if you want, when you select a movie, it gives you another screen giving you details of the movie and cool pictures in the background. There's a free and a paid one. Note: it's just an organizer, and will need to use stock player or whatever you have. I used mx player.
Don't have it on my tablet yet but it looks promising for sure. Thanks for the heads up. Going to load up the tablet and check this out.
Edit.
Is there something I have to do to the files to get them to show up? I added the folder they are all in but they don't show up.....many different file formats and size files. None of them showed.
Stock ROM and the free app for now.
Any advice?
When u click update, it ask you to select the folders you want to be added to your list. I select update and clear to update. Try that?

I didn't select the clear to update thing.
I was also reading through their site and got some good tips that I am going to give a try. Also going to rename all my videos and see if that helps.
Edit: OK, i dont know what i did, but it is working great right now. This is a Fantastic app.....Thank you for pointing it out. Love how you can view even more stuff (youtube / HD movie trailers)
