Hello
I've had a search but can't seem to find anything around this.
Is there an app, (or a way to make the stock gallery) that displaysFish photos in full screen? When swiping through the pictures, the pictures display in the middle of the screen (lot of 'black' all round) and yes I can tap to zoom, but I would prefer the pictures to fill the screen automatically as as each one is displayed.
I have had a look at Quickpic, Fishbowl and a couple of others but they seem the same. The pictures should have resolution that exceeds the Tab screen res. They were transferred to the tab via Kies (does that resize pics?)
Have found the cause. Keis. It resizes pictures on transfer. With darg and drop no issues.

Hello there,
After installing the new rom from sony at first I was enable to place a contact picture as landscape mode when resizing on selecting the image.
After a while, didn't understrood if it was because i installed any program, it become to resize as a square and then when you go to contacts window it stays zoomed and not nice.
Any way of changing this?
maybe the old pictures back after the auto sync?
Same thing here... when i try to add pictures for contacts, some pictures asks for a landscape crop, while other asks for a square crop, without any recognizable pattern of behavior.
Sorry, but i still don't know what to do.
(Did you installed Gallery 3D?)

The SE stock ROM automatically tries to merge all of your phone-only contacts, SE Sync contacts, Google contacts and Facebook contacts together. Unfortunately, if you have the same contact on more than one service, then the same number shows up several times. Also, the phone-only contacts use the "landscape"-type pictures, but Google and Facebook use square pictures, and I think these photos override the phone-only ones.
What I did was to edit EVERY contact, press Menu and select "Split". This separates them (took forever). Then, I went to the phone book, pressed the "Groups" button in the upper-left corner, and set it not to display any Google or Facebook contacts. Now all contacts use the "landscape" style pictures.
The SE phone book merging stuff is TERRIBLE. Why would I want to see the exact same number or e-mail address two or three times? Why wouldn't I have the same number in all services (especially if I can sync my phone contacts to Google)? How is that useful? If it prevented numbers from showing up multiple times, then I might use it.
Found the problem,
When you install 3D Gallery 2.0 and uninstall the original one or you have an custom rom just with 3D Gallery 2.0 it stays on the square, if you install the original one it all comes to be normal with the wide picture format even if it is a Google contact.
The Google contact will stay with a crop and less def image but the phone shows the high definition wide that you choose
I've noticed that if you take a screenshot and save it into notes, the screenshot is very small...almost unreadable in the notes app. However, if you email the screenshot to evernote, you get a much higher quality image. Is this a bug?
If you turn the screen to horizontal position, it gets much bigger
Yeah, I've noticed that...I just wish you had more control over it. I've just started importing them into Evernote, that way I get the larger pics. Sure wish pinch to zoom worked!
Imagine you downloaded an image from Google images and you want to add some scribble and notes to this image with Flyer's pen
Ok, how to save this picture ? i can not seem to find a method to save the scribed image ? The only method I can find is sharing this picture to email or somewhere else but sometimes the scribed image transferred sometimes it sends the pictures untouched unscribed.
Any ideas ?
It works fine with web sites and notes etc, I can not seem to find a workable solution on downloaded pictures from web.
Can you take a screenshot and scribble like that?
Something else I've done is save the image, and open it in the HTC scribe notes and scribble on there. Once I get home, I'll play around with it and I will let you know!

The easiest way I know of is to take a screenshot. Obviously you cannot simply tap the screen with the pen if you’re already scribbling, but there is a built in hard key combination to accomplish the task - you’re going to need two hands…
1) Press and hold the power button
2) Quickly tap the Home Icon along the bezel.
This takes a screenshot and dumps it into the Camera Shots folder/directory.
Works in either landscape or portrait, and is only method I found so far to take a shot of any screen that’s already using the pen drawing functionality. If you don’t want the pen tools in the picture you have to tap them out before taking the screenshot.
The only drawback I can think of is that the image resolution is capped at the screen resolution - which is not an issue if you’re annotating a web screenshot from a pen tap, but if you’re doodling over a 5 MP image it will be limiting.
By the way, whenever I attempt to send an inked photo from within the gallery via email, Bluetooth, etc., there’s always a dialog asking if I want to send the ink as part of the image, perhaps you’ve inadvertently not chosen that option in the past? I only ask because in a month of nearly daily use the Flyer’s never failed to send out an inked image on my behalf.
Hope the preceding information was helpful.
I tried selecting pictures from Albums to contacts but for some reason when cropping the image, some images are automatically rotated sideways so the face is also rotated. One solution I did was to edit the photo and rotate it 360 again for the image to appear correctly. Is this a bug or is there an easier way to rotate the images when cropping?

This is the same with all Sony devices. What I did was transfer all my contacts to Google Gmail and do all my editing there via a computer.. You just have to make sure that google sync is enabled in your phone to get the updated contacts. Hope it makes sence.
Yes and remember that all the contacts pics get small when you sync. It's not bad quality they just appear in a small square. This is does not happen when you set them via phone, but they get this way as soon as you sync with googl contacts anyway...
I don't know if I should laugh or curse at Sony for this issue. The pics I wanted to use are all on my phone so it's easier to do it on the phone. I don't plan to put pictures on all my contacts so I will settle rotating the pics on the phone. The only hassle is you don't know which picture is rotated wrongly.
Well, that is not the only thing wrong with this phone...
Just received my S6 Edge and love it, but I do have a question.
The drawing function is gone from the Samsung Photo Gallery edit. On my S5 and S4 I could take a picture, then using the included Samsung Photo app to easily draw on the photo (i.e. make an arrow, circle something, etc.). Likewise if I took a screen shot I could easily use Edit -> Effect and draw on the picture, then send it to someone in the same app.
Am I missing something? I can't find a simple Gallery application as my default, go-to app for reviewing, then drawing on on pictures. Likewise there is no drawing capability on Google's Photos app (the one with the pinwheel icon). Everyone raves about QuicPic which is otherwise great, but there doesn't seem to be a drawing function. Key functionality - I'd like to be able to select the app as the default gallery so that I don't have to keep switching back and forth between applications.
Has anyone else solved for this?
you have to download the sdk for that in galaxy apps
