Tried rooting the X2 and was successful but after installing eclipse the 2 hard buttons have been reversed. Any ideas, input, or solutions? I've tried SBF'ing back to 2.2 and 2.3.4 but the problem still exists.
THX!
I don't have the issue, and don't know the solution. If you want a quick response you might try hitting up Nitro on Twitter. @nitroglicerin33

I have tried the same steps in the video here

Basically with the power plugged into the tablet multi touch is perfect. but without the power adapter plugged in there are issues, which you will see in my video. Its hard to explain. But i've had this issue on Calkulins+Clems v4 and Vegan 5.1.1
Please could someone also test this to see if its just my tablet, this way I know i need to send it back to viewsonic for a replacement while its under warranty.
Any help is appreciated.
Using BC and seem the same behavior - the "Fix Me" re calibration app does not help but I was unaware of the plug in fix.
Hi all
Starting to think this is a hardware fault as I have tried all I can software wise but thought I would check with others.
I was on Batista 3.5 and flashed to 3.5 returns, my home button started to go wrong, i was having to press it many times for it to work, a day later and now it does not work, i tried flashing other roms/stock/wipes/all i can think of but the home button is just not working, i dont know if its hardware or that the rom has messed up my home button, i would say hardware but problem was that another guy was having same issue as me.....................anyone had this? any fix?
If it is a ROM issue then try a different ROM, a Stock ROM, if it persists then it's a hardware problem, you need to do RMA, sadly.
Regards.
tried other roms and back on stock but same problem...seems it is HW problem.
cheers
Searched the forum but have had no luck finding this issue, but of course on searching using the touchpad so its not as easy as on a pc, so I nigh have just ran out of patients.
Anyways, is anyone's Touchpad constantly locking down while it sits idle? Basically the screen would be off but when I get back to it it doesn't respond to any of the buttons, only way to get it going is through the hard reset (top and home button). Am I missing some directions? Is there a special combination needed to activate the button control or is it really locking up?
Just to clarify, the touchpad could be sitting completely stationary and idle, and it still won't respond if I try to get it going. Also it seems to be at random, doesn't depend on a certain amount of time.
thanks for any input or link to another thread, I really want to give the touchpad a chance.
This is not typical behavior. I think I remember reading that this happening to someone else. I believe the suggestion was to use home button + volume up to wake it up. Or maybe it was power button + volume up? Sorry, I don't remember the exact combo, give'em both a try and see what you.
Thank you for the advice, however it was to no vial. No combination except for the hard reset returned a result.
Does anyone else have any suggestions?
have you reimaged through? I'd give that a go since you seem to be having so many issues.
Re-imaging using built in "reset" or a third party software? and if some other software what would be recommended?
I had this, it was the overclocking...usually happened when I had my email open.
I originally had f15c, switched to warthog and all was good.

WebOSDoctor.
Hey all, I've been having this problem for a couple of weeks now. At least a couple of times a day, the soft buttons on my A70 stop working properly. When I hit the menu or home button, it brings down the notification bar, and I can't use back or search buttons. I thought it would go away, but it hasn't. I originally thought that it was the Urukdroid that I was running, so I did a full reinitialization, then reinstalled the os clean. And I still get the same problem.
Has anyone else had the same problem? It's really annoying to have to deal with.
And you did a recalibration via recovery menu??

Yep, try this
i often have this issue on my 101, when it was long at standby, but after a force recalibration did help
Greets,

Thx for the responses guys. I tried the recalibration and it seems to be working. I haven't had the problem for the last 2 days. Lets hope that it stays that way.
Hi!
So I have original stock galaxy s2 and just last week recieved the ICS update.
One problem that I encountered is that the camera app randomly freezes sometimes. What happens is that I can see that the camera is on and I can see evrything but non of the onscreen buttons work. I can't take photos or autofocus. Not even the back button works but I have to press the home buttom to get out of the camera app.
Does this happen to anyone else? If so is there a way to fix it?
Help would be very much appreciated
jus do a factory reset m8...an then c.
have felt the same in few ics roms, make a reset or try flashing some other ics roms.
already factory reset
Hey
I acctually did try factory reseting but the same thing keeps happening. I guess i have to live with the problem as I dont want to root and flash my phone due to warranty issues.
Anyway thanks for the help. Atleast I know it is not only me that it happens to.
thanks!
could be your rom...
