[Q]Mozart Upgrade Method - 7 Mozart General

I have an Sim unlocked, Telstra(aus) Mozart. Presently im using it with Airtel(india)
Im planning to un-brand it and update the 7.0 to mango
I prefer installing HSPL because i like to try out a few custom Roms. can you suggest a version suited to me
What do you think is the best way to go about upgrading it?
Specs
Firmware: 2250.09
Radio Software : 5.50.09.18
Bootloader: 1.23
BootLoader Info
PD67120
SPL 1.23.2250

Fist, you should install hspl/rspl which created by cotulla, after that downloa one of many alternative custom rom on mozart development section. I prefer to using shining by dotcomp, because we have ability to choae many custom theme and tone, of course its unlocked one
Sent from my 7 Mozart T8698 using Board Express

Thanks, I flashed the Cotulla HSPL and Interop ROM

[Q] HSPL with current Mango Device if I flash a Nodo ROM

Hi there
I´ve got a little question about my HTC 7 Mozart. At the moment my device is running 7.0.7720 Mango RTM Version but I miss my Jailbreak (no, unfortunately I didn´t save my Jailbreak with Unlock.Mango XBMOD Files Deployer) and other cool things. So I would like to install a Custom ROM from Ansar or DFT. Now I´ve read that HSPL will damage Mozarts with Mango.
Now my question: If I downgrade my Mozart to a (pre)- Nodo ROM will I be able to install HSPL?
Thanks for every answer which will be written.

HSPL not flies when you install Mango 7720, problems the rollback does not exist
Ok I rolled back to 7.0.7.004 (pre-Nodo) and installed RSPL and HSPL successful.

[Q] How to jailbreak a brand new HTC Mozart

Hello Everyone
I have received a brand new HTC Mozart.
OS Version 7.10.7720.68
Bootloader 4.6.2250.1
I was wondering if I can jailbreak it?
Can I install any of the Rom's ( As I read in the forum there is a problem with the 4.X bootloader)
Thanks for the help,
You are right. Don't flash anzthing with your current ROM.
You are supposed to downgrade to 7004 original ROM (Mozart and your operator) -> make RSPL, HSPL -> you can flash any unofficial ROM for Mozart
Original ROM you can find here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=915827
RSPL, HSPL you can find here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1195647

[Q] Flashing the 8107 on HTC Mozart

Hy guys, I've some questions for the great developers of this forum:
one month ago, I installed the custom ROM Deepshining v3 (7740, perfect ROM!) on my HTC Mozart but now I want to upgrade my mobile to 8107 (just for fun ). I think that I have to install another ROM, like Nextgen or NewTech, but can I upgrade directly trought Zune or may I can lose the unlock?
Alternatively even if I decide to install a stock ROM (8107) on my HTC (SPL 1.32) can I unlock the device with Chevron or with another method, without mount a custom ROM? In this case, I've to convert my HSPL to OSPL or I can flash directly the stock ROM on my custom ROM and then unlock the phone?
Thanks
Hi,
I think deepshining blocks cab update so you will need to install a new rom... It's a real pain, that's why I am using ansars (newtech) as it seems to allow cab update.
No doubt, there will always be a new firmware update and it sucks rebuilding the device everytime.
You can flash any stock rom, but, yes, you will lose unlock and the b/l will probably be upgraded when it updates to 77xx. In which case you may end up having to go back to nodo just to rspl/hspl.
This topic is not Development!
Please move your topic to HTC 7 Mozart General!
sry for my eng ;P

use the Goldcard method to revert your Bootloader to a lower version.
once your Bootloader is 1.xx, than you must XSPL in order to flash a Custom ROM.

Titan vodafone EU

Hi Guys,
I have reviewed the forums looking for a solution to debrand and flash stock rom with 2.5 bootloader. Can anyone point me to the right direction?
I have tried DFT spl put get "invalid vendor ID.
From what I understand I can not use goldcard as my bootloader is 4.x
my phone is
HTC Titan (vodafone)
Carrier (unlocked)
OS version: 7.10.8773.98
Firmware revision number 1750.0602.40603.165
Hardware revision number:0002
Radio software version 17.5006.08.27_17.08.50.06U
Bootloader version: 4.6.175006.2(140733)
any help greatly appreciated. My HD2 @Dynamics HD2O 2.00 WP7.8 8858 is putting my titan to shame.
Your Titan is branded, even though it's carrier unlocked, it still carries a brand like ATT.
Firmware revision number 1750.0602.40603.165
That bit right there, the last 3 digits, usually shows the characteristic value of the phone on which network and region it is tied to.
Only phones with 401 (usually) are unlocked phones which do not carry and network branding in them.
Your luck is very slim, if you can find a matching Vodafone EU ROM with a bootloader version of at least below 2.05 / 2.5 (same thing) then there's a possibility of HSPL.
Success
Update.
It is possible.
I successfully downgraded SPL to 2.5. I created goldcard using nbh file in DFT SPL205 file then flashed HSPL.. Titan now running Dynamics 2.0.
