Hy guys, I've some questions for the great developers of this forum:
one month ago, I installed the custom ROM Deepshining v3 (7740, perfect ROM!) on my HTC Mozart but now I want to upgrade my mobile to 8107 (just for fun ). I think that I have to install another ROM, like Nextgen or NewTech, but can I upgrade directly trought Zune or may I can lose the unlock?
Alternatively even if I decide to install a stock ROM (8107) on my HTC (SPL 1.32) can I unlock the device with Chevron or with another method, without mount a custom ROM? In this case, I've to convert my HSPL to OSPL or I can flash directly the stock ROM on my custom ROM and then unlock the phone?

I think deepshining blocks cab update so you will need to install a new rom... It's a real pain, that's why I am using ansars (newtech) as it seems to allow cab update.
No doubt, there will always be a new firmware update and it sucks rebuilding the device everytime.
You can flash any stock rom, but, yes, you will lose unlock and the b/l will probably be upgraded when it updates to 77xx. In which case you may end up having to go back to nodo just to rspl/hspl.

i am just a newbie to all this...i just wanted to update my rom...

RADIO----2.15.50.14
Just a few days back i flashed my radio to that version...but now i wanted to update my rom version to 3.14.xx
I read the page http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=623283 but can't understand which version to download...is it safe to install..World Wide English (WWE) 3.14.405.2 or Indian: (Asia_India) 3.14.720.3...
even whenever i go to official htc site to download rom..my serial is this HT9BDNW04917 so i got not suitable for your device...as i have buyied this defice from uk and its a o2 unlocked device

Good day sir,
First of al some important informations, if you go to install the latest stock ROM 3.14 it's important to remove HSPL first. (use HSPL2_RUN.exe and select a spl value.)
secondly, fore the moment there is no o2 UK 3.14 stock ROM out. so you need to use the GoldCard technique for upgrading your ROM to a 3.14 version.

I would personally recommend just loading HSPL3 and then just selecting on of the roms in the ROM Development section, as they usually integrate the new roms released from other providers with there rom.

It depends sir, even if you use a custom ROM build on stock ROM 3.14 it's recommended to install stock ROM 3.14 before installing this custom ROM's. And like mentioned before, stock ROM 3.14 isn't compatible with HSPL!

Can't i do that using hardspl..cause i have flashed my radio to 2.15..which is too not out yet for my O2 uk model...and this Gold card technique is a lil tough...also i read this..http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=8989286&postcount=30
This says this technique was used before hardspl..

At the moment my device is running 7.0.7720 Mango RTM Version but I miss my Jailbreak (no, unfortunately I didn´t save my Jailbreak with Unlock.Mango XBMOD Files Deployer) and other cool things. So I would like to install a Custom ROM from Ansar or DFT. Now I´ve read that HSPL will damage Mozarts with Mango.
Now my question: If I downgrade my Mozart to a (pre)- Nodo ROM will I be able to install HSPL?

HSPL not flies when you install Mango 7720, problems the rollback does not exist
Ok I rolled back to 7.0.7.004 (pre-Nodo) and installed RSPL and HSPL successful.

Hello guys. I need to ask some detailed information about latest leaked Mango update.
I just bought a unbranded (without operator programs-logos) HTC Mozart. I want to flash my Mozart with latest leaked Mango ROM. I read the xda thread, and i saw some unsuccessful flashing issues. What about them? Is this rom for branded Mozart's? My Mozart has firmware version as 7392 NoDo. I did not installed any HSPL/RSPL on my device. Can i flash my Mozart with these ROM? Is there any known issue?
Please help me, because i'm so confused, i think i must wait for official update over Zune.
I'm pretty sure those people who ran into problems were on HSPL. as long as you use stock SPL you should be just fine.

I heard its possible to back to Nodo.
I need to do it because I want to have Polish language in mango.. Right now I've updated from Zune bug to mango.
I found infor that my bootloader does not support other custom roms... So I need to downgrade it and install HSPL etc.
Its any way to do it?

You have two ways. You can downgrade back in Zune. I think it is at same place as upgrade. You can restore system before last update. Or you can find some original ROM for your device and region (operator). You can flash this ROM and make HSPL. Flash is possible if you have not SPL 5.xx. If you have SPL 5.xx you are supposed to downgrade SPL before flashing original ROM.
Hi. I have a question, I'm new in the HTC Radar topic and i want to know if there are any possibilites to install .xap files on Htc Radar without flashing a custom ROM.
If i want to flash a custom ROM, what should I know ? I understood that i should flash DFT SPL, AFTER THAT THE HSPL, and finally the custom ROM. It's OK ? I don't wanna brick my device.

it's impossible to install xap files without full unlocked. If you can flash the HSPL on your device successfully,that's really great. if can not, you need to use goldcard.
you can purchase a Developer Account or if you are a student, you may qualify for DreamSpark.
both are alternatives to going the Custom ROM route.
