I was wondering if someone could make a metamorph to allow the icons in the settings to be colored? Thanks!

Not sure if you will lose some settings when you apply the settings.apk. You may want to look into other roms that have the colored icons too and extract the settings.apk from it. Maybe one closer to the rom you are using?

This could be done relative simple Already made some theme from sources for another devices.
Sure could be done coloured icons,menu icons and backgrounds. Only lockscreen might not be ported.
I could make a try to do this theme if you want... Even I dont like this skin
As HeliumX10 says. I think You only have to adjust images for our screen resolution (maybe not even by all of the files). Just take a look in framework-res.apk. The same goes with apps. I could help You editing framework, so that it works.

Yes, could be done. But remember we could mod only icons and backgrounds,not the layout of the controls .
To collect themes and mods for MS2Ginger 4.0, you can use this thread.
I'm not a developer so please understand that this theme have some little bugs

Let me search on my girlfriend's computer, I made a pink theme for her.. Well, I really ported that theme from [THEME] HotPink for MavROM 4.0..

SMS Icon ??????
Thanks for these themes!
I like them and currently have installed Titanium one.
SMS Icon is replaced with GMail Icon either in Messaging Widget and Apps Drawer and it gets confusing when you want to SMS text.
Is it possible to replace it whit any other but GMail ???????

It will look great with this colour paten.
Something I have just notice:
Signal Status (bars) is in Blue colour ????
Does not it supposed to change to new colour scheme????
Still looks great in Blue, just general question>
My Keyboard did not change to the black as in your screen shots from OP

First at all:

Battery Circle MOD is Great Looking )))))
Black Keyboard is Great Looking ))))
However:
The Signal Strength Bars Icon looks terrible.
The BIG white background square box with the bars inside just does not fit this theme.
I have thought that it would be the same as the native ones "transparent background) and change the colour of the bars only.
The new colour (of the signal strength) is good but not INSIDE white background square.
If you teach me how to take screenshot I will send it to show you.
Please, DO NOT understand me wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I highly appreciate your work and I have an idea, from other post, of your developer abilities just would like to report it so you also have an idea how it goes.
For time being I am reverting back to previous build with the update you provided for the SMS widget

Thx for return. I'm a 'noob' and it' the first time i made a theme ( credit in first post). So i have to learn
Try please to download titanium theme again (updated). Use sceenshot from market to show me what is wrong.
I am installing at the moment the new upload.
Will report when installs.
Meanwhile have a look at the screenshot (red arrow) for what I am talking about and compare to the screen shot from OP (except the colour)!

I have not yet made a zip for default look, so you have to make a backup of system or just reinstall MS2ginger system.
But i will make a default look zip.

Yeah, but don't be scared: if your phone isn't compatible, the worst thing can happen is a gone statusbar :laugh:

So I tried this:
If your ROMs isn't deodexed, deodex SystemUI.apk
Decompile it.
Go to /res/drawable-mdpi (or ldpi, or hdpi... depends of your device) and locate an image named statusbar_background.9.png
Open that image with your favorite image editor, and make it as transparent as you desire. You can fill the image with a pattern... or a solid color... or using a gradient, it doesn't matter (note that the image has an 1 pixel margin with some black pixels, don't make them transparent).
Recompile the apk, and flash it. Reboot to see the changes.

I was just giving him info that it'll not be universal
And about your method. It isn't necessary that framework uses png for status bar color. Samsung touchwiz ROMs(atleast for devices I know) use hex colors to determine status bar color.

Oh. That would work! But only for ICS+. I am using GB so never got an idea about Xposed Module.
Yes, that would work as the sole purpose of Xposed is to remove specific dependencies of framework and make it hackable.

You got to remember this is just a beta so some work has got to be done
Changelog:
Changed the quick settings icons to red instead of white
Removed yoshi background from settings because you can't really see anything
Changed the signal, WiFi and battery icon
Changed the home screen icons, and folders
Changed the theme name from "basic theme" to "excellent theme"

This theme is looking like if a 10 years old did it.
Why the bright colors, with no match to other aesthetic UI elements? Wanna make a theme? Have some inspiration from other themes. You've to keep a consistent UI through the whole theme.

Well I don't do a lot of theme development and its my first time doing it, and I'm still getting used to it so once I get used to it I'll try and do a better theme

Try settings and all backgrounds of 'arc dark' colour and accent colour of 'cyan' colour.
Primary colour of dark 'blue grey' colour.
Make status bar as you like.
I think the theme is gonna look cool.
Try it and post here.
If possible add aosp icons every where like settings and status bar and quick settings.

No, arc dark is something like blue see the pallette.
It is a full material setup.
