I got a 250GB Xbox for $200. They ram out of the holiday bundles and these ones were supposed to ring up at $299. I guess I got lucky. I'm thinking about getting a Kinect. Not really sure if I want one though.

With the Xoom 2 coming out around holidays the Xoom 1 should see a huge price drop. I'm going to try to score one they should be between 199.99-250.00. What made me laugh the most about black Friday is apple supposedly thinks they're actually participating by knocking off only 100 bucks off computers. I bought my MacBook pro in June for like 1400 bucks; yeah a 100 bucks off is really a deal :rolls eyes:

Bahaha, thanks! The price was the biggest reason I chose the Photon over the EpicTouch. Coulda got the ET with a free BluRay player from BestBuy too lol, but I was like, dude I live in a trailer in the boonies with no TV so what am I gonna do with a bluray player???
I could use that signal boost everyone is bragging about too. I'm gonna save up and get the dock too.
My GF has an epic touch 4G and its trash. The radio is **** and the phone isn't that impressive. God I hate Samsung phones...
Coming from the Epic I'm inclined to agree with you. I don't think it's all bad, but the lack of Samsung support coupled with having to search for developer apps and roms to fix problems affecting basic operations is a big turndown. The only saving-grace it had over the Photon was the damn keyboard, but that didn't even hold me back anymore after I saw what un-impressive features GB brought to it. They didn't even bother fixing problems we've had since EB13 and we're on EI22 now...!
I got lucky as hell today. Went into bestbuy around noon today to pick up a nook tablet and found that $250 Asus tablet instead. Last one they had and it was buried under a couple nooks. Lol what luck. Wanted one of these for a while now

Damn I ordered mine the first day, it took me four hours of refreshing pages and re entering info because their severs were overloaded and it came the next day. Well it would've been a day if I would've order it early but I sent it at 1am so I got it the following day.

I got mine almost 2 Weeks ago now for $219 at BestBuy Mobile(they wanted $299 but pricematched)... Unfortunately, with good ol CA tax it came to $280 something...
This phone honestly wasnt as great as i had expected it to be(just need to DEL bloatware & get CM9!)... But it's still better then wthat i had before and better then everything else that's out so i don't regret what i paid either.
On a side note, seems Verizon's pulling that "new" red Incredible 2 from stores to fulfill Web orders. That Inc2 was my fav 3G phone.

while I agree with you 100%, mine was 299 and with cali sales tax it came out to be 371.
Im a full time college student, with 3 kids, AND its coming up on xmass, ~400 bucks back in my pocket is something I just cant pass up

California tax is less than it was prior to July 1, when the temporary increase (over 10%) expired.
As for the amazon wait, I welcome it. My DINC bootloops from heat CONSTANTLY, and while it is a horrible existence, I would rather have the heat bootloops on a phone which is eligible for an upgrade, than one that I have to sit with for 2 years.
Maybe if VZW can sell a whole lot of these, a new hardware rev without the issues will come out.
Fingers crossed ... I do not want to 'upgrade' to the Nexus.
The review devices obviously went out today. I'm finding more of these than I know what to do with . . . trying to just post reputable / relevant ones.
Guess this will have to give me my fix until Friday

I think it will be a solid phone. Promised myself after the captivate to NEVER buy a phone without reviews or waiting a week or so. I broke that with the skyrocket because I was in San Antonio on launch day and it was $150 there versus $250 in Dallas. Since I am buying off contract I must be patient...I keep telling myself. It is great to see the enthusiasm for the GNote!

Just curious, what did you regret about the Captivate... the GPS? Other than that, I haven't found much wrong with it.

It was the GPS. I fiddled with it for 3.5 weeks before returning. Trying the GPS fixes etc. I was so disappointed in Samsung. Never could get it to work well enough for me. That is one thing I check now! The other is the bluetooth.

Just went to a Verizon store to get a DNA with a $100 off promotion. While I was tinkering with the phone the rep looked up the deal. He said said I should wait till 5/14 because they will have a free promotion. So I'm gonna wait. Till then. Hope this helps.

I expect an HTC one announcement shortly after 5/14 (30 days ?). Typical VZW. Will offload the phone on thousands of people and lock them into 2 year contracts before the new model comes along.

Offload the phone? For someone who bought the DNA 5 months ago it may not have been realistic to wait until late May for the next option.
Personally I'm very happy with the DNA and to act like Verizon scammed you by selling it to you is a little silly if you ask me.

It looks like the S4 had been released or already pre orders. I'm sorry but I haven't don't my due diligence researching on the One. But how does it stand above the DNA? And has it even been confirmed its coming to Verizon?
If this is real my friend might give android over ios a shot. His iphone 4 is starting to get hardware issues everywhere.

I got mine in January and I am content with it as well. This phone does everything I need it to easily. I don't play many games on it because I would rather do that on xbox..... so instead of saving my money for a new phone I am saving for the new xbox.

The sales rep said you enter your email and a unique bar code is generated and then take that to the Verizon store to receive the free DNA. I don't know if I'll have the time before work, but as guess i can wait till after..... Wouldn't get to much work accomplished with new toy. I am going to ask if the they have any 1.5 firmware phones. Seems like a long shot but someone else was successful in finding one.

I just had an online chat with VZW customer service to see if I could confirm the rumor. Here is the result:
"The DNA is free will be free at this time there is a website error so the correct price is not showing up we are working on this now we are very sorry for the inconvenience. It should be fixed later today."

I would be giving up a note 3 though... A larger screen, spen which I use allot.. It's a tough decision.. I may hold out longer till some Roms are created and more feedback can be given. I hope you enjoy yours!

Ahhh, the Note 3...
that's the phone I was using before I got this stupid Flex 2, I sold it after I switched.
Huge regret. I miss my Note 3.

10 hours later I get an email saying its on backorder....
Today I get an email saying it might ship between now and next week.
This is the worst launch experience I've personally experienced.
But im upgrading from an M7, so I look forward to actually getting it!

Me too (order today said Monday). Direct from Sprint. My contract was not up until end of month but they said ok to do now.
They charged Activation Fee (grrr) and I hate mail in rebates, especially Sprints.
I'm gonna try not open it until Sunshine is ready. Like to avoid HTCDev unlock.
I'm not 100% sure I'm gonna keep it. I love my Black and Gold Harmon Kardon M8. ONLY reason to upgrade IMHO is the camera and having latest and greatest from OMG and friends.
But since I was due an upgrade I figured I should buy it and could easily sell it for $500.00+ But I always say that and never do
Not sure if I will get rebate if I never activate it though.
