Corporate sync - Motorola Droid X2

I did a nandroid restore after wipe data, cache, delvik. Now my corporate sync info isn't showing in my accounts list. And I try to add the account back but it says its already in use....I went through tibu and cleared data on any thing I could think of that would be keeping my account info but its still not working... how do I get this fixed!? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

So I rebooted after wiping data in tibu and I was able to add my account back without it telling me it was already there. Sounds food right?! Lol! Well it doesn't load any of my emails. Just refreshes and nothing....suggestions??

Anyone? Why doesn't nandroid restore corp sync properly?
Sent from my DROID X2 using Tapatalk

Im wondering if its more due to the corporate sides security set up and it not wanting to sync with the phone after a restore because it looks "suspicious " to it.
I know that whenever I do a restore I need to sign back in to netflix in order to watch anything.
Im thinking that its a similar type of issue.

Ya, if I go to my accounts list in the phones settings my corp sync account is not there but if I try to add it again it says it already exists....
Sent from my DROID X2 using Tapatalk

try going to the web portal for your corp sync and see if the mobile device is listed there. Delete it from there and you can re-try to set it up again.

OK thanks!

I didn't see that option in my Hotmail account online. I still believe it is a phone issue. Right now it says I don't have any corp sync accounts in my accounts list. If I try to add it, it tells me its already set up and it didnt check the Hotmail server either....

So i went back through and wiped data on anything I thought would effect corp sync and I was able to add my account again.
Now the problem is it won't actually sync. The icon runs like its updating but doesn't list any of my emails. I have no idea what would cause this now. Anyone?

Server Side...
Try this... Wipe the exchange account. Wipe the big three... /d /c /d... See if u can talk to the exchange admin and see if maybe u have locked ur account in some way... If not wipe. Re-Flash. Re-wipe. Try again...

I've tried numerous flashes and wipes with no luck. What's weird it was working perfectly before I did the nandroid backup. Almost like bootstrap missed some data somewhere during the backup .....idk

How do I remove my google account without resetting phone?

Yes I can't remove account and I don't wanna wipe everything again.
Is there a solution
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA Premium App
Go to settings, Accounts and Sync, tap your email, tap remove account.
^ that won't work if you only have 1 google account.
Add another one then try to remove the original one. that MIGHT work, but it has a big chance that it won't also.
epic thread ID
I am having the same issue. I created another account so I could remove another one and i keep getting the message that some applications use this account. Need to go to settings, privacy, and reset phone. Doesn't work. Trying to remove the 300 contacts that are this phone from when i traded my hd7 windows phone for this hd2 with android. How can i remove the contacts?
Oh epic bump

"My Apps" not working in market

Anyone else having this problem. I have a droid 2 and with blur based roms its just blank.
I've had the same problem running cm7 and miui its only happened recently. I've tried updating to the newer market but it's still not working. Anyone have a fix?
Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
same for me on Decks Rom and now on Swagged out stock. works sometimes but once its gone its gone
Mine works fine on cm7 or liquid but if I go back to stock or Liberty its broke
This was happening to me as well but I figured out it was because of my second gmail account I synced with my phone. The market decided it was my primary account and would show a blank list of apps. So instead of always switching accounts back and forth, removing the account was the answer.
And if this isn't the case, best of luck
Clear data and run it on your network connection not wifi. It worked for me.

First, Questions belong in Q&A....Moved.
Second, if you are using new market and have multiple google accounts associated with your phone check accounts in the market app and make sure it has the correct account selected. If it does not it will not show any.
Only have one account.

I have cleared data and cache, factory reset, unrooted, SBFed and still nothing.

HTC Mail app glitch.

I don't know WTH happened. opened it & entered my Yahoo info. It came up but it wasn't current. So I deleted the account & tried to re-enter it. But it wont let me. I just get a flag saying 503 80302: You have already added this email acct. Yet I can't log into it.
Is this an HTC ap? Where can I find it or get info on it? It doesn't seem to be in the Market.
Thanks
Go into applications and clear the mail cashe, and try it again.

Both Clear Cache and Clear Data are greyed out. I'd like to try uninstalling & reinstalling. But I don't know where to find it and there is no uninstall option anyway as it's crapware. I've searched the Market for Mail, HTC, HTC mail, Verizon... and on & on.
Any ideas?
The same thing happened to me when I was trying to add accounts. I just set up my Gmail under a POP/IMAP for a bit then delete the account and try to add it back on under Gmail (for example).
I will work again but it will just take a bit of time. It worked for me.

Yahoo has their own mail app.

Is the account showing up in Settings -> Accounts & Sync? Try removing it from there, then re-adding it.
There is not a lot you can do changing system apps until you get root. HTC Mail is a system app so you can't remove it. Once the phone is rooted you will be able to set up a new mail system. You can probably find something in the market. I just use the mail apps(Gmail,Hotmail, etc).

Also remember that I used Google Voice
on a Thunderbolt that was not activated on VZW so there was nothing they could do to me. I was texting and calling over wi-fi, not using vzw for anything. I have that system (Google Voice) and GrooVe IP set up on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 so I text and call over just Wi-Fi on my tab. So if I send 2000 text, they are free.

I'm using enhanced email myself. Was free on amazon at one point. Seems to work better than the yahoo app which would always fail at sending emails with attachments.
The same thing is happening to me, but with aol mail. I had to log in to my account using the browser, then delete my old mail from there. After doing that, now all my mail sync, old and me. Not sure how this helped but it did

[Q] Nandroid question

Guys,
this may sound like a stupid question, but bear with me.
I just did a nandroid backup because I am thinking about a liquid smooth ROM, want to try a senseless rom to compare to my SoaB. And the question I have is this:
with my Nandroid backup, does that also save contacts and calender information, or is that lost once I wipe? Is it returned if I return to the prior nandroid?
Thanks!
If contacts and calendar are tied to the Gmail account, then they will come back on any ROM flash, after Google sign in.

Yea, except my wifes life is tied to outlook, so to prevent any scheduling mishaps, its "don't link google to outlook". Either that or get a new wife.
Happy wife, happy life.
Thanks!
Unless Outlook server is storing them on the device rather than the server, they will be visible on reconnection to the outlook server.

Restoring a nandroid will put it just the way it was at backup time. Regardless of how your contacts are stored, they will all be there after a restore. Same with all text messages at the time if backup.

Thanks guys! Will see about throwing a senseless rom on this weekend maybe!
Outlook and the server, if set up to store email and calendar artifacts locally, may or may not recreate them after a flash. Why? If ONLY stored locally and not backed up locally, what/how would they reappear? How could server give them something that doesn't exist.
I'd find out for certain exactly how and where the Outlook server stores stuff, to be safe.

Google Talk refuses to login

I'm not sure what the issue is, but I'm running the Rejuvenated ROM. Fresh install. Restored all apps from Titanium Backup (all backups were from previous Rejuvenated setup - same version and everything). Whenever I open up Talk, it shows all accounts signed out. And when I click on an account, it takes me to the buddy list, but only shows my email address and doesn't sign in. No errors. All other apps work that are tied to my gmail account - the market, email, etc.
I even tried doing a restore from Titanium to a clean install, while skipping everything that has to do with accounts. Still nothing.
Any ideas on how to get this working properly?

I apparently can't post in the development forum, but you mentioned that you were having issues with google talk and gmail. I have had the same issue when flashing roms and then using titanium backup to restore my stuff. What fixed it for me is deleting the google account off the phone and deleting the data out of the google services framework app. Let me know if that works for you.

Had this issue in the past. I stay away from backing up the google apps since during install they ask for permissions.
Agreed, never backup gapps because that will come with issues if its own.
Try going in to recovery and fixing permissions, see if that helps.
