Hi All,
I've made a simple application, that creates the link to any file/application and then puts that link to Windows\Start Menu\Programs or any other selected by You folder...
I've noticed that when using TouchFlo3D, you can't just add to Program Tab any link, any program, there is no browsing option, link has to be in Start Menu Folder. Making links with notepad or Word is not an easy / simple thing, that's why Link Creator was made ... to make life simpler
discussion and attachment in main thread (on Diamond board )
XDA Thread
Version 1.5
fixed:
1) Support of WVGA now it's more finger friendly
2) Additional shortcut to explore and manage special folders
3) Bigger Fonts ! better accuracy in choosing folders / files...
4) no automatic softreset after changing manilla softkey (it was very annoying)
- minor changes...
Version 1.4
added:
1) Save as Manilla Softkey (Left and Right Softkey, and it works very well with arguments - so now creating link to for ex.TouchLockPro with additional LOCK argument is very easy...)
2) Create URL/Mail - now You can create mail or www.* link and put it to whatever you want place - it uses default - signed to specified type system program (for browsing www and creating emails)
fixed:
1) exception when file doesn't exist (in selecting File and clicking OK) - now if everything is all right OK button will be colored to Red otherwise you will be promped with msg.
2) installation problem with adding shortcut to Link Creator to the Start Menu\Programs - now it's fixed (on not WWE Roms for ex. Polish Roms there was problem with it)
3) in 1.3 version link additional argument was added under inverted commas (1#"\FOLDER\program.exe argument"), now it's fixed (added checkbox "argument outside inverted commas" for default it is checked... and now arguments are after commas - so we get sth like this: - 1#"\FOLDER\program.exe" argument - and it works
4) added space (****.exe"_) while saving link with argument (so now, there is no need to type additional one blank space in arguments textbox)
5) fixed all "Save In..." problems "Folder doesn't exist"
6) Key Mapping Problems solved
7) some layout changes.
to do:
1) setting icons
2) editor for created link
3) soft keys for System
4) saving with UTF-8 for speciall chars like ś, ą, ę... others
5) make program more finger friendlly - bigger scrollbars, dropdown lists etc.
Version 1.3
Changes:
1) changed "Select File to Link" explorer: short directory listing for better navigation
2) changed "Save in Selected Place" explorer: short directory listing, for better navigation
3) changed Menu style
4) added "Manage Links" - an explorer that gives you ability to find any link files (supoorted filters are: *.lnk, *.lnkbak, *.*) on your PPC and then you can rename, delete, or delete them (by changing it's extension (*.lnk -> *.lnkbak) )
5) added fingerfriendly popup menu for "Manage Links" (-Close-)
6) added "Save as Key Mapping" - special in Windows direcotory filename creator, that gives You ability to map some Hardware Keys with your "files" (Long Press Send Button, Long Press Power Button, Short Press Power Button). There are two options for Save as Key Mapping: a) saving special filename, b) deleting special filename.
Version 1.2
Changes:
1) added "auto counting chars method"
2) removed .net openfiledialog
3) added my own "explorer" for searching "to be linked file"
4) excluded System.Windows.Forms.dll (back to very small size of cab installer 12KB)
5) some "label" changes...
version 1.1:
Added:
1) file filtering: all files, exe, jpg, bmp, png, mp3, wav, avi, mp4, wmv, txt, pdf, doc
2) changed caption Select Exe to Select File
3) new Menu Options:
- Save in Programs
- Save in Start Menu
- Save in StartUp
- Save in Selected Place
- Close
4) included System.Windows.Forms.dll for same openfiledialog on every .net platform... (I guess )
(thanks to Mieszko Zagańczyk from SmartMobile.pl for testing and noticing problem with filtering and different open file dialog on his Touch HD)

new version 1.4 released
new Version 1.5 released
Hello friends of the forum "XDADevelopers"
This is my first post in the forum, I hope will be useful.
First of all I want to say this I am translating with google translator is that I'm not good with English, I apologize
While waiting for the glorious arrival of some ROM Froyo (Android 2.2) for our FLIPOUT modear or at least get the current version we have a
faster and with all the benefits we want (In this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1110941 there is a rom that I have not tested but looks good )
Perhaps you are someone who wants to get their hands on the system files and make an occasional change, of course, changes do not affect the integrity of our cel, because there are all kinds of tutorials but there are times when things do not go as want and then, goodbye FLIPOUT.
This time I bring a small tuto that can be performed without problems, the procedure is simple.
It is, as the title says, to change and create a bootanimation.
Yes, to change the operator logo that appears in our current bootanimation, in my case "Vomistar."

I researched and managed to create some as bootanimation abound on the Internet at high resolutions (for other high-end smartphone) and there is absolutely nothing for our beloved FLIPOUT, so these bootanimation must be unique in its kind in the entire network (I hope not to exaggerate).
Hands to work:
'Before I tell you something, my cel Android is version 2.1-update 1, theirs must be the same.
-So I usually put the operators hand and manage the software and put them on bootanimation with your logo.
-When turning on the cel, the first thing that comes out is a picture called "Splash" in my cel is this:
The mine is the Motorola logo. I want to see yours, take it a photo? And SHARING.
This can not be changed at the moment is a bit complicated (If you're a large)
-NOT CHARGING THE BOOTANIMATION of their respective operations, so I go up, I would appreciate yours to be appreciated.
-To do all these steps have to have your cel "root".
They also need the "Root Explorer" (To access the Android system folders) can be downloaded here (Because the Market is not ): CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD.
-ALWAYS REMEMBER TO MAKE A BACKUP FILES COPIED, ALWAYS!
Choose the bootanimation they like personally, I like that make some mischief to "Apple"
If you do not like any, below I'll show you to your own
All come in 320x240 resolution, I took the time to square and put a good quality (13MB weighing there, it's worth because they are stretched or pixelized)

CHANGE BOOTANIMATION
Step: 1
All steps will be using the "Root explorer".
They should know that there are 2 access routes to the bootanimation (I've tried putting in any of the 2 routes of 10 and it worked, but decided to opt
FOLLOWING the path: "data-> local", is simpler because we need not give permission to the script).
One is:
"/ Data / local" = It is not necessary to stick to our bootanimation permissions (I did a backup of the file that was here, come on. Zip I tried to unzip but I could not secure the same thing will happen)
Use this route, do not cause problems.
And another:
"System / media" = To paste the bootanimation here must give write permissions "MountR / O"
Picture 1
This route was the bootanimation of "Vomistar." Leave it well, do not change.
WE WILL NOT USE THIS ROUTE
COME TO ROUTES 2 BOOTANIMATION and copy, just in case. IF AFTER MAY, I would appreciate if THE RISE TO ANY SERVER AND SHARE, THANKS IN ADVANCE.
Now:
-Copy the bootanimation they like the SD card.
-In "Root Explorer", go to the SD card.
The path is:
"/ Sdcard /"
Picture 2
Diringanse which hit the bootanimation and copy it (To copy a file from the "Root Explorer", should maintain pressure on the file until it comes out options)
Picture 3
Picture 4
Picture 5
After copying the file, they will 2 options at the bottom:
"Paste and Cancel", do not translate to know what it means.
Then go to the route (standard SD card, just go back, use the back arrow)
"/ Data / local" (as shown in the image) and press "Paste" (No need to give write permissions "MountR / O" for this).
Overwrite the file located there.

Waiting and ready.

Reset the cel and see the changes to the load.
CREATE A BOOTANIMATION
Creating a bootanimation is something simple (simple is the uploading ) Depends on the knowledge they have about image editing and video editing, etc, etc.
For this we will use an interesting video I've seen (as for a bootanimation).
Located in the youtube and this is the direction (Or they can choose a video of your choice; D):
Download with Free YouTube and the "No conversion" (or the program of your choice), so that does not affect its quality.
Once downloaded, turn them in. Avi 320x240 resolution (this resolution is relative, can set the size you wish).
For this I use a program called "Xilisoft Video Converter Ultimate 5.1.39," is very good, you can search by Google or San taringa San haha
Because the video has a resolution larger and may have a conflict with the program at the time to take pictures of GIF.
Once converted the file. Avi, paseremos to make picture boxes.
For this we need the help of this small program: GIF Animator 5 is portable and works on version 10! CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD
The run, and let the option:
File -> New
Picture 12
FOLLOWING in the sale, we put on for size: 320x240, otherwise leave it at that.
Picture 13
Now, proceed to load the video into. Avi. For this, press on:
File-> Add video
Picture 14
Once you have chosen our video, the program will ask if we replace the existing table with the start of the video, if you give.
Picture 15
We waited a while, until fresh
Picture 16
Once loaded all the video, export it.
File-> Save-> Image
Picture 17
Next, we will ask a folder to save our video.
Put any name (The program will automatically offer you a number to the tables)
The check "Export all frames" must be selected (by default the images are pictures in. PNG)
Picture 18
Close the program (no need to save, unless you want)
We can see the selected folder is full of pictures
The following programs will use is:
"Adobe ImageReady CS2," look it up in the San Google (I've seen portable versions in Taringa )
Picture 19
Note:
To see the different windows editing ImageReady, go to "Window" and activate the windows they want to see.
That matter most are:
Layers
Animation
By default when you press on the "Window-> Workspace-> default palette locations", you can not see the window "Animation."
In ImageReady, create a new document:
File-> New
Picture 20
Next, we ask that we put a name to our work (Place you want)
And the size, we can: 320x240 (This is the screen size that supports our FLIPOUT)
The option that says "content of the first layer," not very important (I put white)
And we give OK
Picture 21
After we got our picture box (created with GIF Animator)
File-> Import-> Folder as frames
Picture 22
Select the folder and OK. This takes a little bit.
Picture 23
We see pictures of images loaded into a new document
Picture 24
Now for the NEXT window (the window that says "Animation." To activate this window, go to "Window" and activate the check on "Animation") and press the button with the symbol "Play" and choose "Select all tables."
Picture 25
Then we come back to press the botóon "Play" and choose the option "Copy Pictures".
Picture 26
We closed our current window and save the changes, we "No" (Do not worry we have already copied the pictures)
Picture 27
We return to our document created and click on the button "Play" and choose "Paste Frames".
Picture 28
The table comes out, choose the option:
"Paste the selection", wait a while and go.
Picture 29
They stick all the pictures in the "Animation" and in the "Layers."
In the "Layers" delete a file that is named "Background".
Picture 30
Now select all the frames of the video (In the window that says "Animation") Press the "Play" and choose "Select All Frames."
Note: You can also work for separate boxes.
Picture 31
Being in the "layers", copy all layers (To copy all layers at the same time we press the "Shift and control" and Clicking on the first layer and continue holding down shift and control and Clicking on the last layer)
Note: You can also work on separate layers.
Picture 32
Then we went to the "move tool" and pictures to our taste all the boxes of pictures, if we want to reduce or increase (must be selected all the pictures of both windows, "Animation and Layers", remember).
"Display table transformation" must be with the respective "Check", but we can not move nor to reduce the pictures.
Picture 33
With the "Move Tool", proceed to reconcile our paintings.
Picture 34
This is usually a little heavy, remember to be patient
Once ready our table, we proceed to export your file.
Let the option:
File-> Export-> animation frames as files
Picture 35
On next window will name to our work and its details.
Picture 36
By clicking on the "Define" button and put the same options as shown in the picture.
In the name I am putting an underscore and three zeros, because the program will increase 2 more.
Note:
In all the pictures must be 5 numbers to run (If you have more the Android system will not recognize it), can have any name, but always 5 numbers, remember. Passing the box 100 the program will increase by more digits, ie, do not look like this: "boot_00100" (So it should be) but rather well, "boot_000100," and has 6 numbers and not work well (This example has 461 frames).
What I do is create 2 folders (call them A and folder B folder) in folder A, I keep the tables up the next name: "boot_000" (The name change is done by pressing the "Set") the word boot bearing 3 zeros.
Picture 37
In folder B, I keep the pictures under the name "boot_00," the word boot accompanied by 2 numbers.
Picture 38
Finally I create a folder C and copy the contents of folder A (up to the table "boot_00099"), also copied the contents of the folder B (but from the table "boot_00100 up") and hit in the C .
Having done the above steps, we now proceed to save the picture boxes. In the "Choose" button, choose the folder where you save your work (remember the above steps, as the 2 folders)
Picture 39
And to finish with the steps guradado of picture boxes.
We see that under the window are the options format. Here we choose the PNG24 format (Must be PNG, but the Android system does not recognize pictures with other formats)
Picture 40
And we ok and wait.
Then proceed to copy the pictures folder A and B in the C and above.
Here ends the editing step and move on to step "Compression".
Now go to the folder contents C (where are our pictures copied).
Then create 2 more folders, create with following the names (can name you want, but here I explain in this example)
part0
part1
In the folder "part0", copy the tables "boot_00001" to "boot_00460."
In the folder "part1", copy the last frame that is "boot_00461"
.
Additionally we will create a text file (yes, just a simple file with a. Txt) with the name "desc" and add up the next text:
320 240 10
p 1 0 part0
p 0 0 part1
Note:
The first line indicates the size (320x240) and the value 10 indicates the FPS (Frames Per Second, the rate of exchange of images)
The second line:
p = defines a portion of the animation (Leave it)
1 = Indicates the number of times to repeat the animation (in this case only once)
0 = This zero indicates a pause (also leave it)
part0 = The folder name (in our case we put the folder "part0")
The second line:
p = defines a portion of the animation (Leave it)
0 = Indicates the number of times to repeat the animation (value of zero means that will be repeated several times until you load the system)
0 = the zero indicates a pause (as in this last folder image sequence ends, we'll leave it)
part1 = The name of the folder.
Finally compress these 3 files, personally I use "winrar" so we teach them how to do this program.
First select the 3 files together (par0 folders, part1 and description) and give a left-click and choose the option:
"Add to archive ..."
Picture 41
The table comes, we will place the file named "bootanimation."
In the "File Format", choose ZIP (Because the. Rar is not detected by the system)
And finally, where it says "Compression Method", choose "No compression".
And we accept.
Picture 42
The file created we will post it to SD and then the "Root Explorer" will be spent on the route:
"/ Data / local"
I hope this post will be helpful.
Remember to share your bootanimation to see how they have left.
And excuse my bad English again.
But I wanted to contribute to this great forum.
And if you know some Spanish and do not understand this post.

Hi. Love Viewpad 7 & Hate Viewsonic documentation, and howto support. How can I create my own wallpapers? If I try to use a photo via Wallpapers -> Gallery
-> Select my photo, 800x480 but I am forced to crop just a part of my whole photo. The result is my photo gets cropped !!! I am a newbie but extensive Web search did not help anyway. Please help ...
Are you using stock rom or rooted, custom ROM & launcher? Do you have the option to turn off wallpaper scrolling (like mine using ADW instead)?
Also, try compressing/re-sizing your photo wallpaper to 640x480 or even 320x240? On mine, I can crop/shrink or enlarge the size of the wallpaper to fit ....
Thanks Lititride. My VPAD7 is rooted, and my ROM is EUViewpad7V1.4.zip. I am resizing images with some success. I did get angry with forced crop of my images. I did not find any wallpaper scrolling option. Have a good day !
VPad7 Desktop Wallpaper Howto.
We must process source image to be transferred to VPad7. Its geometry must be 576x288, being the upper half part of a 576x576 pattern image. I suggest to create a 576x576 blank pattern image as a template to be reused, and two windows applications: IrfanView and LView or any other you prefer.
VPad7 screen geometry is 800x480; aspect ratio is 1.666, but desktop wallpaper must be widther to provide horizontal scroll, when diferent desktops are shown.
Desktop process (Part 1):
a) We must first choose the image, we want to be our desktop wallpaper. Its aspect ratio must be equal to 2 (1024x512, 800x400, in general 2LxL).
b) After source image is selected, it must be resized to 576x288.
Note: I find IrfanView very appropiate, to perform a) & b) steps.
c) Resultant version of image must pasted as the upper half of Pattern0.jpg image.
Note: I perform this step, opening Pattern0.jpg image with LView application, and copying from IrfanView, step b) image to LView, upper half of pattern opened image.
d) I save full modified Pattern0.jpg image, as a new name one, and transfer it to a folder at SDHC card, into VPad7.
VPad7 process (Part 2):
Now we use VPad7 wallpaper setup, using Gallery option.
1. Touch desktop free area for 3 seconds.
2. Select Wallpaper at menu prompt.
3. Select Gallery at next menu prompt.
4. Select the image formatted at Desktop process (Part 1).
5. Resize crop area to full size, locating it at the top border of image.
6. Select Save.
7. Wait and cheers. Enjoy your new wallpaper !!
Sorry about a possible confusion about my reference to Pattern0.jpg. It is the name I provided, to the blank pattern image, 576x576 geometry, I suggest to create at the beginning of Howto.
Have a wonderfull wallpapers !!

FAQ
THEME FAQ
What's the difference between the dark and the dark_minimal theme?
The minimal themes only have one highlight color (dark holo blue).
The main advantage of the minimal themes is their reduced boot time compared to the multicolor versions.
They're ment to be used as base for porting or creating other single color versions.
Can I use this theme on my *devicename*?
Most likely yes. The themes can be used on any device with the screen resolution the filename of the theme suggests.
For example, the "1080_*variant*.zip" can be used on any FullHD device.
When I reboot to recovery, the theme isn't applied. Any ideas?
This is most likeley due to wrong naming of the theme folder or the ui.zip.
Make sure the folder is named "theme", without capital letters.
Also check if you accidentally renamed the downloaded zip to "ui.zip.zip" (common pitfall when renaming the zip in windows explorer).
When I reboot to recovery, I get a "recovery bootloop". Is my phone broken?
Nope, this is most likeley due to a bad download.
Please download the theme again using another browser or app. For instance, ES File Explorer's build-in downloader has proven to be unreliable for the dropbox links I provide.
I like what you did there, but can I has more/other colorz?
Colors are a matter of personal preferrence. I try to keep the themes neutral, and the colors used are (mostly) in accordance with android design guidelines.
For other colors, you'll have to modify the theme yourself. I will gladly provide the source file for the images to everyone interested.
Will you make a dark/black Play theme?
No, because I don't want to maintain more versions of the theme. But everybody is welcome to contribute to the thread...
Will you help me to port my favourite other theme to device XY?
No. But this guide provides insight on how you can do it.
RECOVERY REPACK FAQ
What version of TWRP is the repack?
Always the latest available for a certain device.
As I don't keep track of all TWRP threads, please remind me if there was an update for your device.
I'd like a repack for *devicename*, how do I make one?
Download and unpack Android Image Kitchen.
Unpack the zip.
Download the zip containing the custom curtains (splash images).
Get the recovery image you want to modify from the TWRP download site.
Copy the recovery image to the Image Kitchen folder.
In windows explorer, drag & drop the recovery image on the "unpackimg.bat".
Unpacking will create two new folders (ramdisk and split_image).
Rename the splash of your choice to "curtain.jpg" and drop it into /ramdisk/res/images.
Hit "repackimg.bat".
This will create a "image-new.img", which you can then flash away using your preferred method.
My preferred method for installing the recovery is GooManager, so how do I flash this .img thing?
Use the theme. It now supports direct image flashing from the install page.
Via Fastboot. Most useful to know how to (especially in case things go sideways).
Via app. For a variety of devices, Flashify has proven to be a good app for flashing recovery images. It's under (very) active development and I highly recommend to give it a try.
Alternative apps (can be device specific): SGS4 Flasher, ... (please help me to populate this part)
AROMA FM
The theme has an option to use the Aroma File Manager as the default recovery file manager.
Download this flashable zip.
Flash the zip in recovery.
It will copy the flashable Aroma FM package to \TWRP\aromafm.
Go to "settings" and tick the option to use Aroma FM.
Profit.

added theme chooser to holofied settings
moved holofied settings into seperate menu (play, xda)
fixed position of progress bar on wipe pages (play)
How to use the theme chooser:
copy all themes to your device (use internal storage if you have a device with micro sd)
in holofied settings, go to "swap theme" page, browse to the theme.zip and select it
confirm your selection (recovery will now copy the zip to the correct folder, rename it to ui.zip, then reload the theme)
NOTE 1: Reloading the theme will set all theme settings to default. Recovery settings will persist.
NOTE 2: Reloading the theme will sometimes trigger a recovery reboot (appeared randomly on Galaxy S3).
I tried the Play theme and now im stuck in a recovery bootloop. I pulled battery and waited a bit, every time i attempt to power on the phone it wants to boot into recovery and gets stuck in the loop. Is there anything i can do besides Odin back to stock?

First try to ODIN to stock recovery, boot to recovery and wipe cache. It should boot back into system afterwards. I've had this problem on the S3 with the light theme (and only with the light theme), so I'd be interested if you can fix it that way, and if the problem persists after you've redownloaded the theme and tried again (recovery bootloops might also be caused by a faulty download, but then you should still be able to boot into system....)
So plaese let me knoe how it goes...
EDIT:
I was searching for a standalone stock recovery to flash, but can't find any.
As the CF-Autoroot package also contains the stock recovery, you can try to flash this one via odin, or you just take the recovery.img and flash it via fastboot...

I Odin'd recovery and booted system back up. Flashed the repacked recovery for the new curtain. Going to attempt theme again. Should I use the 1080 or multirom version?
EDIT: nvm, I got it working. I used the 1080Play.zip and it worked now. Thanks!!! I was getting tired of the old look. Love it!

Good, glad you brought it back to life again. The MultiRom versions can currently only be used on Nexus 5 and HTC One. It requires a modded recovery which allows you to install multiple roms. It's a nice feature for the restless flasher but not available for the S5 (yet).
How come my TWRP dark doesn't have any blue in it like in the OP?

Feedback needed
Okay, so here are two new versions to test. If you do, please give feedback.
The only change is the way the color changing is handled. So please change the colors back and forth and report any oddities (or if it's working).
To change the color, the ui.zip will be unpacked, the image set with the selected highlight color will be copied to the folder that is used by the recovery, and a search and replace operation will alter color definitions in the xml file. Then everythig is zipped again and copied to the theme folder.
This means:
The color change will no longer happen "on the fly". The recovery needs to reboot for the change to take effect.
The xml file is no longer 25k lines long, but 10k lines (like current minimal themes). Once you have set up the theme, the time to boot to recovery should decrease significantly (compared with the current multicolor versions).
If this works on all devices, there will be no more need for the minimal themes (good for me).
The shortened xml gives room for new features without pushing boot time above 10 seconds (good for all).

Implemented ability to flash .img files directly from the install page (thanks to @osm0sis for the Flashify script and his help polishing this feature)
Reworked color changing mechanism on black/dark/light (thanks to @DSM_ for the idea and the zip binary)
Added 3 more highlight colors to black/dark/light
Restored default file list behaviour, bookmark function is now optional (enable it in Holofied Settings > Misc)
Fixed overlapping text on wipe page (occured on M8 and Skyrocket)
Fixed overlapping actionbar buttons on black/dark/light for some resolutions
About image flashing
The feature is tested on Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 (grouper and flo)
It allows to flash .img files from recovery without the need for a flashable zip
Supported types are "boot", "recovery" and "radio / modem"
The install page now has a toggle to switch between zip files and images (see screenshots)
Simply choose the image, then select the image type and flash away
Also read the "about" text box before flashing :good:
The script works only on devices with standard "by-name" partition naming, thus it will not work on all devices the themes are available for
If your device is among the unsupported ones, the script will bail and wont flash the image - instead it will tell you you need to continue to use zips or apps

enabled screenshot support (vol- & power)
fixed file names not changing when queued zips are flashed

Ok, makes sense, I used ES before reading this part. But now my S5 won't boot to anything other than recovery, and it "bootloops". I've taken the battery out twice, and it's still booting into recovery automatically. Probably because I told TWRP to reboot to recovery after I renamed the file to ui.zip, so it's saved in /cache to "boot recovery" and won't be cleared until something boots to clear it...
I've tried booting into the bootloader (which works), but apparently the bootloader doesn't clear the "boot recovery" flag, so I end up right back in the "bootloop" after another reboot.
Ideas?

Also, a simple "adb reboot" worked too. Apparently it's just the UI that loops, the system underneath is running fine.

Real Thanks to you @z31s1g for providing the most awesome TWRP themes.
In this updated guide I'm gonna show you how to install any custom fonts you like in your Samsung Galaxy device WITHOUT ROOT. It works in all One UI (Android) versions; even in One UI 4.1!
ALL CREDITS TO @sathishtony 's #mono_ app and @__TrungDK__ 's method!
• #mono_ version 2.1 [NO-ROOT] ➜ https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...v2-1-for-samsung-oneui-1-2-3-no-root.4195613/
• __TrungDK__'s thread ➜ https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...r-android-10-oneui-2-5-samsung-phone.4203153/
Video tutorial:
Steps to follow (updated in 2021):
1. Make sure you are signed in into your Samsung Account.
2. Download and install #mono_ v2.1.
3. Launch #mono_ and allow the permissions it asks.
4. Install Samsung Sans through the #mono_ app.
5. Change your device's font to Samsung Sans.
6. At your phone's Settings, go to "Accounts and backup" and then to "Back up data" under Samsung Cloud.
──
6.5. If you can't find the Back up/Restore options due to carriers hiding them:
I. Download Activity Launcher from the Play Store.
II. In the search field you type "Cloud".
III. In the Samsung Cloud submenu you will find the Back up/Restore options.
──
7. Select only "Settings" and back them up.
8. Move your custom fonts to the "ttf" subfolder inside the "monofonts" folder (Internal Storage►monofonts►ttf).
8.5. If your font is not a ".ttf" font, then you may convert it using any online tool.
9. Go back to #mono_ and tap on "Load TTF". Select the font you want to change to.
10. Under the "Load TTF" button, tap on "Install". Uninstall Samsung Sans.
11. Tap again on the same "Install" button. Install the "fake" Samsung Sans.
12. At your phone's Settings, go to "Accounts and backup" and then to "Restore data" under Samsung Cloud.
13. Select only "Settings" and restore it. Don't delete the backup.
14. Android will be tricked into thinking that it's applying again Samsung Sans but it will actually apply your custom font!
15. You may repeat this process from step 8 or 9, for every other font, now.

Unfortunately not. Apps use the system's font by default.
