I don't see how this can possibly be legit. A quick glance at MIUI.US shows us *none* of the devices are running 11.11.11 yet.
Has anyone been able to follow this link?

Sorry. The server that is hosting my port became overloaded. I'm working on uploading the file to another service and will have the link updated shortly.

My bad and my apologies. Most of our MIUI Builds have been based off of MIUI.US Builds if I am not mistaken (which I obviously have been...recently). I have not looked at the miuiandroid site in ages.
Thank you.

No worries. I started porting for miuiandroid starting last week because the Fascinate build on MIUI.us seems to be kinda fading. Andmer did an awesome job with it, but now he's not porting it anymore and the ports have been delayed a bit and there's really no telling who's going to port it from week to week or if there's even going to be a port. I think Dfgas is taking over, but I'm not 100% sure. I didn't want to start any conflicts on MIUI.us because those guys are awesome, so I figured I'd port it on miuiandroid to guarantee that there's always a current Fascinate port.
Awesome, downloading now.

Hi i am totally confused so forgive my ignorance.
I just downloaded 1.11.4 from miui.us this past week and I was waiting for .11
what is the difference between that one at miui.us, and the ones from miuiandriod exactly? You mention port, but isn't it being ported to the fascinate at miui.us?
Flashed, everything seems to work great. Recovery reboot option really isn't an issue at all especially since JT fixed 3-button, not to mention all the other ways to get to recovery.

Yep. Flashed and looking good here. QuickBoot from market (free) is also a good alternative for booting to recovery. (I bought the pro version way back in the day...)
Did notice that Google+ was pre-installed. That's not going to mess with updates, is it?

Surprised I didn't see it in the zip. I usually go in and remove the "new" market and updater and put the old market, compass and DSP manager in as well as the ICS bootani. Totally didn't see the Google+ app. No big, though. So long as the app updates, I couldn't care less where it resides.
Update: Quick Boot doesn't work to reboot into recovery. Using Glitch, so 3-finger is out. Rom Manager works though, so it's do-able.
Thanks again.

Hello everyone,
similar to the other developers (fitsnugly and nazforex) I've been working on CM7 Builds for the N1.
Mainly I've been doing this to learn building Android.
Flashing this may brick your device and there is no support from either Cyanogen and his crew or me. You do this on your own responsibility.
This build is not final - it's more an alpha build. If you decide you shouldn't care about bugs.
What's different in this build?
It containts the ringtones / notifications from the Nexus S
I removed the File Manager, Magic Smoke Wallpaper, Microbes, PinyinIME and OpenWnn
This contains the Gapps
Trackball wake (unmerged from CM7 git)
Some files were moved to /data/app
gps.conf was modifed for better reception in europe - Americans just edit the file and use north-america instead europe
Some changes to the build.prop
Donate
I'll release a new build when some important modifications have been made.
You can see the current CyanogenMod changelog here: http://review.cyanogenmod.com/#q,status:merged,n,z
You can flash both via recovery:
You can download the ROM here: http://wp10556497.wp249.webpack.hosteurope.de/builds/update-11-01-2011.zip
The HBOOT 0.35 is located here: http://alternate-coding.com/temp/hboot.zip
Always good to have the choice. thanks
Hi, i didn't get any answer on android-hilfe.de so i may ask you here again.
Does your CM7 build requires to be flashed with Clockwork recovery in order to have the changing icons working (icons change from grey to green...)?
I'm asking because fitsnugly's gapps only work properly with CW recovery.
Thx

Market issue. Tis all thus far.
guess what guys new revelation in market... amazon works...appbrain does not....blapmart does.....blackmart alpha does.... so we are getting closer to narrowing down the culprit i think... cause its not anything to do with installing or downloading has something to do with the market app and its hand holders ...IMO.. also
ive done this myself just now... restore a backup of a fully set up aokp then reboot to recovery wipe caches flash gummy flash gummy fix permissions reboot and enjoy a fully setup gummy mionus market unless you use the ones i listed
if someone wants to can test the no full wipe coming frrom cna and cm9 for me dont try it with miui (unless your brave) its very different and likely will cause issues... thanks guys please report if you do
Will you guys quit releasing stuff! Update the guide and five minutes later a new ROM is released! Update again and cybik shows up! Just because Tharks have four arms doesn't mean you have to make use of all of them!
If there's enough time I'll play with it just because of Nyan Cat. Thanks for the release.
(I know the guide needs updating but am trying to do multiple projects with just one device to dev on now. I'll try to get it done this weekend.)
Sorry if this is stupid, but auto rotate doesn't seem to work on the homescreen? Seems to work for gmail, dialer, and others...

Tried to run this, but I can't even get into it. As soon as the phone boots, I get phone force-closing over and over, ad infinitum. I can do nothing else but hit OK on the FC message, and another one immediately pops up.
I'll take a look at phone fc when I get home. A logcat would help much, because it is working for gsm devices.

I'll try to get you one, but maybe the other guy can send it. I'm at work, and won't be able to get on a computer that I can fiddle with my phone on for several hours.
Gonna try to install now, will report back.
Where can I find the 4.2.1 gapps? Goo.im never loads the download for me.

@Eris _2.1_2010 bbrad has some posted in his cmtango thread that are 4.2 and they have been working fine for me

On bbrads thread it says to flash with build 6 only. Are you running Helly Bean with that?

yeah those i think he means 4.2 only....but they've been working fine for me on Helly Bean. Ran them all last night no problem.
Looks like I'm going to try it since Google brings me rapidshare or goo.im links.
Nope mediafire not working either....wtf. Guess I'll continue to search for a link I can download. Till then no 4.2 Helly for me.
Found a dev host link for 4.2 gapps but it's 154mb! I give up.

Is there any way to speed it up?
Very sluggish.
Perhaps I should just wait for improvements, as this is an alpha after all
Thanks for the release!

Update: Werp. After giving it a little while to "recover" from being a fresh install, it seems to have greatly sped itself up. Faster than 4.1, it seems to me. Could just be butt dyno, but 4.2 really does feel snappier.

Did you enable traces, force gpu rendering or disable HW overlays in the developer options?
It seems developer options are hidden in 4.2. Where'd they go?
Seeing a few new features like daydream and zooming in on the homescreen and within apps as well. Any news of a 4.2 compatible kernel?

Keep hitting build number in settings-about phone. Keep tapping it couple times and u will see a window saying you are now a developer and u will see it in settings.
