Has Anyone Noticed that when the 3vo Won't Turn On while its Off, and Plugged into the Wall Charger? Or is it just me?

It Drives me Crazy... I Wonder Why it does that? Was it Intended that way, or just a Bug?
Same here. I'm afraid to completely shut off when not home due to this.

Oh. I use to have this issue until I updated to the latest twrp. This didn't happen before the phone is rooted tho.

^^^ It's your recovery, it actually boots into it even though your phone is supposed to be off. I'm pretty sure ADB will even work

Within the next couple days we should get an update, primarily for the green tint a lot of us have ffrom the camera.
If you don't get it within a few days I'd check out the HTC site for it.

Lol dude I know. But it tweaks some other minor issued too. Idk what they include though.
But don't get me wrong, this phone is my favorite by far. And I've had the epic, OG EVO, and the shift. And this kills all those. Dead.

I know it might be too late for this OTA, but I wonder if it closes the exploit to obtain temp root.
Just wondering How and where did you happen to get this info from?
Yeah where's your source.
I still wont touch any updates, im not loosing any chances for full root and unlocked. Ill deal with it, im sure it'll be baked into a custom ROM when theyr'e available.

Need to have the data installed before you can play it. If it doesn't find it. It will try and download and check your device for support. The trick is to have the data there before hand.
Sent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk
Try turning on Airplane Mode and then when it asks to download over wifi switch wifi on and download while still in airplane mode. That way the game can't check the servers before you turn on wifi and won't know that you have an incompatible device.

So occasionally my capacitive buttons don't respond, along with my touchscreen. When I power down the screen and turn it on it works fine. Does anybody else have this problem? Also, I understand that the vast majority of rezounds don't do this so please don't simply post "never happened to me" or something. It's not helpful and makes me jealous of you lol.

I have this occasionally and experienced it on my TBolt as well. You are not alone. Figured it was more of an app error then a phone error.
KORM via the beast known as the Rezound.
It does it right on the Rosie screens/and the notification bar. I'll see if I can catch an app doing it though. I've had the phone for at least a few weeks before it started doing that

I think this is a cache/memory issue. I think it's unloading the memory used to open the drawer, and when you come back to it it rebuilds it, hence the lag. There must be a way to keep it from doing that.

No, nothing. No charge light, pc won't recognize device in fastboot

If nothing is happening, no lights, nothing on the pc, i would say your s-off attempted failed. Have you tried taking the battery out and letting it sit for a few then booting it back up? i dont think thats going to help. IMO i would say its dead unless someone else knows of anything.
I know in the computer world if something like that happens and the USB ports are fine on the PC its the devices thats dead..im assuming the same would go for the phones

imo if its not doing a thing, then i would say the usb fried during your s-off attempt. Im not sure if the s-off could cause an issue like that, im not s-off and dont plan on it just for that reason. shorting the phone out doesnt sound to pleasing to me

I've seen this before browsing the forums. I got S-Off first time so didn't commit it to memory. Definitely visit the UI site and check. The answer may be to run the process again but verify that.
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using xda premium
See there you go lol, someone with a lil more experience with the s-off stuff then me after doing a little searching it does appear that you can recover from that s-off failure...now it seems that the pc needs to be able to see the phone in order to do so, so it might still be a paperweight, but i guess ill let others chime in and see what they say
---------- Post added at 03:44 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:36 AM ----------
I also just read a few threads that ppl did fry their usb ports when getting s-off, and also as bad killing the phone..exactly why i dont want to s-off, theres not much i cant do being s-on besides radios and kernals, and even then their work arounds for that
So I'm really screwed?

If you can get to bootloader you're rarely screwed. You can always run a RUU. If your port is fried, S-Off may no longer be an option but you can charge in other ways.

Also as for charging get an external battery charger. You can find them online fairly cheap. I had to get one for my thunderbolt because the usb port was shot
