Guys im using my non moded fully stock not even rooted atrix..... but since i upgraded it to 2.3.4 ota im facing this wieard audio statick noices and audio glitches all the time...
im using a "shure se535" headphones... when i connect them and start using a music app after a abt 1 or 3 mints later i hear theas " TIS, TUSK, TRUSK" NOICES.... so damm hard to bear up! When i unlock the screen its worse! Cuz every time when im taping my screen the static sound hears.... but after 5-7 scnds it goes away.. . Again it comes after about 10 minutes.... this is a pain in the ass when im browsing or texting..... plz help me.. is this a hardwear issue or a softwear issue?? I guess ill be def soon with this prob!! Think when i fire up the volume up to 75%-80% and hearing those brain piearsing statick noices frm ear buds... help me guys

Prob software if you never had this problem before, or your headphone is incompatible.

Dude!! I dnt think its my headphones are incompetible... but it happens with every headphone.... but im confuzed is that static sound comes becaz of softwear problam??? Wieard! Do u suggesting me to unlock my bootloader and go for a custom rom??? Or can i use a rom without unlocking da bootloader
I would always suggest unlocking the bootloader and going for a custom ROM but it may or may not solve your problem.

I believe that the shure 535 is very sensitive. I use a custom earphone but do not experience the same issue as u. You could try stock phones to check if there is any issues with the 3.5mm jack

Hello.ive got mini pro like 2 months and got this problem from the first time.everytime when i finish my call - i want to hang up - my screen doesnt turn on.like the sensor doesnt work. But when im calling and its only ringing and i want to hang up , it works .any ideas to fix it ? I really hate it cause i tell bye but im still calling .do you think its only my phone's problem? I kinda had the same problem with my phone, until, I realised that, when removing the phone from the side of your face, the sensors should pick the movement up and turn on the screen, giving you full use of the buttons. The whole way the calling function works, isn't exactly perfect and something I personally think that SE half hearted.

hey guys, im trying to get a vibrant and found this guy who has a mint condition vibrant but the touch sensitive buttons dont work, the screen is perfectly working but the bottom buttons wont register the touch... some time they do but most of the time they dont... there is no water damage and he says that the phone has not been dropped so, wtf happened here? any software related thing going on here?
ill buy it if there is any way to fix it, maybe some of you have experienced this issue and have an answer?? thanks and please give me some advice
I've returned 2 vibrates because of the home button being haywire. From everything I've heard also, I'd advise you not to get the phone from this guy, its a hardware malfunction.

shyt man i have the same issue on mahh vibrant....ive tryy everythinq i cann and i couldnt get it working....
Someone it depends on the rom yiu install too. I had that problem when I bought mine from a guy at craigslist.. But when I installed axura or other rom, the home button worked flawlessly. I don't totaly agree that its "hardware issue" I think its on the software "roms"

When im calling with somebody so i dont hear him. Sound is so quite. I have AudioManager from android and volume for calling on max. I dont know what i can do for better call volume. Please help :crying:
My wife's phone had the same problem. Hers is not rooted. She ended up taking to Sprint for a $35 repair. They said the speaker was messed up. It didn't seem to affect the media or ringer volume, just the in call volume.

Yes, but i dont know what can i do? Because now i have phone but i cant calling but as mp4 player or for doing photos is good. But i need calling too.
Same problem here, on mwakious too. Did some searching and apparently the in call speaker connection is a bit ****. I've gotta try a warranty repair first otherwise I'll give it a crack myself, doesn't seem too hard.

Have you tried rasing the volume with qpst? I have used the method and its definitely an improvement over factory settings.

Hmm, quite quite.
lol, I'm pretty sure we just don't have good calling speakers. I also experience low call volume even when the in-call volume is max. This doesn't matter what ROM I'm on. I've been through 2 replacements and all are the same thing.

Now my friend said : Problem was in LeeDroid 5.0. In this version was problems with sounds. When i have this phone everything was O.K.

seems people have seen this issue, as I have. one of the Evo3D's I had for a few days had this issue. couldn't figure it out. tried different roms, etc... no joy. had to take it back for a replacement.

Turn on the "Hearing Aid" mode in Call settings. At the cost of having another icon in your status bar, your volume will be quite loud in call.

ok so i have a galaxy s 2 running cyanogen mod 10.1 and today when i put some music on it was really quiet i mean really quet and the sound is all crackly and unbearable this happens with spotify loudspeaker on calls and everything else. Could this be a hardware issue or a setting or cyanogen mod?

did u already ask it on CM 10.1 topic? ask there if someone had this issue and how to fix it.
if not, try changing Rom or flashing it again...if it continues happening after doing this, maybe it is a hardware issue(what i dont think it is)

I think thats technical issue. Idk anybody else xperience this but ur problem kinda strange thing to happen and never happen to my phone.
My guess is some kind of RF interference......had new tv recently and kept getting blocks on screen, turned out it was my boiler relay interfering every time the thermostat triggered on/off......and I'm guessing something is causing induction on your speaker in a similar manner

Well if it only happens while you are in a certain location then that would indicate possibly my suggestion, can you describe the beep? Is it a notification beep or does it doing like interference?...or?

Well it's not a notification sound I recognize, almost sounds like the connection notification when you plug into charge, just wondering if damaged usb port is doing it, but that is just a guess.
Best advice is flash back to stock Rom with full wipe, and before adding your apps see if it's still doing it, if not then add apps a few at a time.
The other thing you could do is run better battery stats and see if that noise links to any wakelocks

Hmmm look my friend the phone was on samsung technical lab 3 times they make a total wipe.
The phone is an original android rom no root done. The s3 i am writing with is rooted but i have 2 s3 one is ok and the second make noise.
dont know what to do

Yes i am using regular apps, apps that most of us use they not cracked or somthing
