Firstly, don't use xLoud, it destroys your speaker.
Secondly, as far as I know, xLoud can only be used in stock based roms.
Thirdly, post ALL questions in the Q&A section.
Fourthly, don't post any questions in the dev section.
Fifthly, read the last two again.

I agree, XLoud, is not louder sound, is actually louder and better, I really miss this feature on Cyanogen, actually I am really disappointed with the DigitalSoundProcessing in Cyanogen, compared to Sony Ericsson XLoud, it's a crap!

Hey hey who said that xloud are for stock based roms only?.. It's alright to use xloud but don't use it all the time.. There is xloud on achotjans semc debrand engine and it is cyanogenmod based.. So if you want to help others.. Don't post anything that you aren't sure of.. No offence but I had seen xloud on achotjans debrand engine.. See for yourself.. Thanks.. :thumbup:

i hope so, the lack of the bravia engine seems to be noticable since i moved on to CM7.
while the screen is still nice to use, it's definitely not as vibrant as it was.
Ditto. Back to the blend rom/kernel as the screen is definitely buggy with cm7. Plus xloud seems more effective than dsp...

I don't think it will be ever ported to CM7 because it requires SE's frameworks which is not used in CM.

Hi people! It has been a week that I own my x10 and I am so exhausted of testing roms. If you don't mind I would like a rom with the following things:
- xLoud & Beats Audio ( I use my phone as mp3 player and as a musician too I like the best music quality)
- Bravia Engine
- High level of customization (transparent statusbar, icons/themes, tweaks...) as I had in my Galaxy Mini
- Camera 100% working, I mean with ZOOM please...
Now I'm using Mokee the dionysus 'cause any that I've tried was good for me (donut hd, mokee electra, x10s(i hate xperia style), feravolt v20...)

Dixperia does not have fully working camera. This is a stable rom well fitted and built on stock, fast and yes xloud and brava too.

One of dixperia8s roms is based on stock rom so it has fully working camera.

I tried MIUI, but I missed the Menu button. it is good, many things that you can change and stable. But I recommend the MM Cyanogen Mod 7.2 I'm using it and it's great and fast and stuff.

Using custom Rom won't be customizable
! If you want then should look for a custom Rom with sound optimized mention ! There are no way to mod sound on ur current Rom !

i flashed only acid 8 without walkman....and using player pro with its built in virtualizer.....sound is awesomely increased and crisp on my stock neoV:laugh: headsets
i cant understand how you can "feel" the difference. Everyone says it is awesome. I have seen no difference of such high level.
I installed noozxoide and it is the exact same thing! I have used many headpods and a cheap headphone. No huge difference. I have also useD my 2.1 audio system and well there is completely no difference with noozxoide and acid!. Just flash a walkman addon.

that is a rare statement i am seeing second time.......if you have installed acid 4 before....then it is impossible to see no difference apart from wrong installations...
i never needed noozoxide ....for me its crap.....walkman is slow and 35 mb size but worth it....
what we hear with stock sound is plain music....and the difference i saw with acid is.....high depth in music,and little un-needed bass

in my view try flashing over your v4....if it works....wonders for you.....if not..either way flash new rom...it did works

Did u do a clean install?? Acid requires clean install,and did u wipe cache and dalvik cache?

The ROMS which are currently being release by all are carrying he walkman app.However everyone kows here thatany walkman app doesnt work good w.r.t. sound output quality on the speaker mode(headphones work good,perhaps excellent in walkman as there are various modes available in it).Now the time has come to develop the walkman app which can perform as good as stock music player on XPERIA Mini Pro sk17i and XPERIA Mini st15i.I cannoot tell you to remove all walkman appfeatures because other features like movies,album etc. are good.So please work on this if possible(I have personally tried many ROMS from this developer community,and they are good.I only wish to make out the faults because many of the apps can damage the speaker).Also i liked the BoostMyXperia app.One more thing,LED Control is not needed.The Ultimate LED Notification fix if it has been included in the rom(deodexed),then why do you need to include LED control(not criticizing anyone here,but the Ultimate LED Notification fix is excellent enough).And finally,personally,i feel that Timescape is better app than social life.What do you think guys?.And the most important thing,if anyone can,please try to include the CRT OFF ANIMATION.

maybe ROMs DEVs see those new apps are better ,
cuz our 2011 devices didn't get the jelly bean update ,
so they included all new futures to make us & them fell happy ,
that's ur opinion , all should respect it
I know my friend.I thought to post this because I am also using 2011 mdpi device.However,many walkman features seem to work good only w.r.t. Headphones.if we tweak it and then try to manupulate the sound for speaker,it gets damaged.Also rom developers should include bravia engine 2,cybershot and xLOUD,usb mass storage mode,stock LED Notification,etc. as it is in stock rom.i know its not easy.i respect your opinion too.

i just thik that ,
B,cuz ICS ROMS are many here ,
they should change to Xperia Jelly Bean ,
maybe based on CM like Jelly vanilla ROM
