i just rooted a new rom, but for my bad luck it was a nexus one room, and every time i reboot it it says : press track ball to start, and i have a x10 with no track ball, even when i try : back+power on, nothing happend pleaaaaaaaaase heeeeelp, i am gonna killing my self ....
pull batter out and refer to flash tool for x10 found in the developement thread, flash with stock 2.3.3 fw which can be found in the same thread, should fix ur problem

I have x10i (non rooted) and am in France with SFR operator, till today am with v1.6 R014 n SFR will not roll out any update in the future.
*I want to update to V 2.1 because I need to add Arabic language to my phone
Which method it's better to get this update with less disadvantages (Nordic flash or debrand my phone because if am debrand my phone am will get 2.1)
**I hope to install costume room to my x10 coz I saw some screens shoot with custom room n I like it so much but I don't know how to do that so just put this in ur mind when u give me an advice

My suggestion is to speak with sony ericsson support fist everybody should have 2.1 it smells to me a corruption!!!

If I were you I would download GLOBAL customization there are not different in those os . there should be more language there. For arabic have look on the xda developers websITe

look for bat file or jar and run in administrator rights

Turn off your phone take of battery wait 20 second and then press and hold back button and in the meantime connect usb. phone will remain off there will be only green led DO NOT DROP BUTTON when you connecting then the GREEN LED LIGHT THEN DROP button if you have any further question dont hesitate to ask!!

First You have to root the phone, and after that install xRecovery, which will allow You to flash new ROM. I won't help You with choosing ROM because I'm X10 user

First of all, i admire to helping ppl here, and many smart and genious hard working gys!
I flashed my x10i (i can swear, it was x10i !!) to 2.3.3, baseband ver.2.1.71,all was ok, till i spoted the phone converted to x10a(!?).
Also i have noticed some gray spot on my pictures, i suppose it's a software problem, what do you think?
And my music getting glitchy while playing on, if moving the phone. All the rest working great:silly:
So., i would like to downgrade to previuos firmware (cant find a healthy mirror link, so if someone could help, i'd appreciate it), but dont remember was it 2.1 or 2.2(
So what do you suggest in my case plz?
p.s.
the phone is still sim locked, is there some software solution here to unlock, cuz cant unlock by code.

Hi, maybe ya messed during flashing your rom. If rooted, try check ya buiklprop, see is there any line mentioning "x10a", try change it into "x10i" and reboot phone. Ur rom is official updated or custom? 2.3.3GB music player is wellknown buggy non smooth. Only can be solved if using other music player that supported. And about the link for 2.1 here from MY BUDDY'S thelogic hope helps

no free solution for unlocking your sim.
Also the camera works perfectly in 2.3.3
either reflash the 2.3.3 rom using flashtool or repair using PCC or SEUS.
If music still is glitchy, use some stock based custom roms

You can flash stock ROM. Use flashtool and download stock ROM from here.

What were you trying to do? Details man, details!
The most common mistake is just flashing the CM mod without changing the kernel. Or the other way around, flashing the kernel and panicking when the stock rom does not show up.
guys ,i really need your helpp.. my xperia x10 android 2.2 can't turn on after i flashed X10i_2.1.71_ARO.ftf. when i hold power button , it will stuck on SE logo after that SE logo starting disappear and after sometime it will appear again , i don't how to fix it , help me guyss ......

No worries buddy, just do the following
install pc companion, you can find it here http://miniurl.be/r-3qh
then go to support zone
and click on update phone--> repair phone
and follow the instructions in there
if it doesn't work, download this and flash it via flashtool : http://miniurl.be/r-3qg
