[Q] NTFS Support - Galaxy Tab 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 3G, I would like to have it support NTFS for reading NTFS memory sticks and SD Cards.
I was hoping to root it (which I have done) and install a NTFS utility to allow me to mount NTFS drives (USB/SD) but I havent been able to find anything.
Is there any way I can install NTFS support on the Tab.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

try this

[Q] About Apps2sd, pls help

hi guys i'm just gonna ask you all, if its possible to install apps2sd without doing the partion? coz i already rooted, and installed the xrecovery on my phone, is there any possible way not to format my sdcard coz if not, i'm totally regretting not doing this first,
Note: i have problems installing apps and games on my phone coz it always says that no free space to view or install it and i red that apps2sd is the solutions...
that's why i want to learn about apps2sd..
tnx in advance guys...
i saw some apps2sd applications on the net does this work or do i have to do the long way
dude
the title of your thread starts with [Q]
obviously you didn't read forum rules
but even if thats the case you actually checked the available options for you to post your question in mini pro forums, completely ignored the Q&A thread, and decided to post your question, [Q], in the development thread????
thats rude dude...
and for your question
you actually searched the forums, turned the earth around, and did NOT find out that in custom froyo (2.2) and gingerbread (2.3) roms you have native app2sd, without additional scripts or formatting of the sd?
there must be dozens of threads around here explaining just that
the search button actually works you know...
i thought the rules meant courtesy to all,im sure he never meant it to be rude,,i do a lot of reading here and am surprised at the way people speak to one another on these forums,,
answer to question is yes it would solve your memory probs and there are apps in market for apps2sd,, also you could save files from memory card to pc and restore after you have formatted it
cheers norrie
also were presuming your on froyo or gingerbread roms or are you using stock rom
the rules do mean courtesy to all
also the rules state that you should read the rules before posting
it's actually the first post everyone sees in any xda forum
the reason why it is difficult to find a thread is because the rules are not followed
and subsequently because it is difficult, no one bothers to search and asks questions in any thread he sees fit, spamming the forums and making the situation worse
and this is looping over and over again
so
the post before was not meant to offend anyone
i wanted to show his options, and encourage him to search, through common sense despite the fact he was unaware of the forum rules and do it in a caustic manner
i'm sure that even though he does not yet understand the reason i answered him like that, if he hangs around the forums for a couple of weeks he will get the point.
sorry for spamming
@dave481985
sorry for that bro, and i don't mean to be rude if that's what you think, but i'm not, actually i'm just a newbie, sorry by the way
@norrie2204
i'm only on stock rom dude, it's 2.1.1 i think, so the only way is to format my sdcard? ok, i'll just start all over again hehehe, tnx
again didnt want to offend you
i gave a proper answer to your problem (i think) in the correct thread you posted
dont hesitate to ask anything else
@xeos14
I prefer link2sd that let you choose what to move to sd (while with app2sd everythinh is installed on sd)
You can check here, anyway link2sd is a normal application that you can download from market.
You need to create an ext2 primary partition, you can use a tool called 'MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition' that will let you resize your sd card without loosing data

[Q] HP Mini 210 running Android

Hey guys. First off I'd like to say that I'm fairly new to all this, so don't be to harsh Anyway. I just installed Android 4.0.3 for the Android Thinkpad, onto my HP Mini 210. It works great, its fast, its awesome. Problem is, the wifi driver. From all the research I've done, I've found out that the linux doesn't natively support the wifi card that the Mini comes with either. So, I went about trying to learn how one would install it in linux. The two links below are to the drivers and the readme for the driver I need to install.
xda forums won't let me post the links... but if you do a quick google search for "802.11 Linux STA driver" it'll be the first one to pop up.
I can't figure out how to install the driver. I feel like I've gotten so close. But my limited knowledge of linux has lead me to a brick wall. Please help me here! Any and all help is greatly appreciated, even if its a link to another forum or site.

LOA on sd-card

Hello,
I had found a thread on XDA by a user whose name started with david. The thread was about his progress in installing Linux On Android onto his external sd-card by partitioning it. I am having difficulty in finding that thread. It was in the Android Development Section of some device which I cannot seem to remember. Please help me find it. Thank you

Help with merging internal and sdcard memory

Hello! I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 T820 running on Android Oreo 8.0, and the internal memory isn't enough. I have a Sandisk 64 gb ultra micro sdcard and I want to use that memory for games and other apps. I have tried different techniques that I found online, but nothing works. ADB shell, installing adoptable memory with TWRP and I have no idea what to do next. Please help me!!
I am not rooted!
Thank you to anyone who can help me solve this!
