I'm not one for testing benchmark results but out of curiousity, I did just that.
Rom: oxygen v1.1
Kernel: fserve 19.4 18cfs
A2SD: DT
OC: 480/729, interactivex
Results: 1814
I usually don't concern myself on fast performance and battery life is more my area of interest but with all of this said, I think the result of this benchmark is pretty good
I haven't ran neocore though just benchmark, lets hear what the rest of y'all got

Antutu benchmark, same developer of CPU master pro....I usually use no frills but CPU master is pretty good, somewhat like setcpu..I've never done benchmarks, so I'm not sure if using what I used is adequate enough to matter but it did me justice

I flashed 1.2.2 rom first than I flashed bcblend kernel. Rebooted everything seems to work fine except I do a quadrant benchmark test and im getting low scores. When I go in set cpu and oc to 1.7 max .8 min i get high benchmark scores like I had with stock kernel. Anybody know whats happening? I unocked htcdev method. Hboot 1.5 with s-on
Are these low benchmark scores reflecting actual performance? If not, then don't care too much about it.
Are you using SetCPU, or a daemon?

I'm using setcpu. No performance is superfast...It's like my phone smoked crystal meth, no matter what I set the CPU speed to. Regardless I'm getting low bench scores. But I'm gonna take your advice and not care about it. I was just wondering if that was normal for a custom ROM and kernel combo.

Try setting the min freq as the same as max. Then select the performance governor, and run a bench. See what that does.

Okay, I set it at 1.6 ghz min and max on demand. Then I ran the antutu bench test. My score barely passed the galaxy s2. Is that normal? Performance wise its real fast though so i dunno if I should be concerned???

Absolutely no need for concern. Benchmark scores are terribly overrated. if the phone feels fast, then ride with it.
Hi, time ago i got 2200 on quadrant score with cyanogenmod. Now i can max get 1950. Why???

Not a big deal..Quadrants are a piece of ****..They never give an accurate reading
Maiby overclock have ruined the cpu? It's possible? I don't use anymore it from a lot of time.
Ah, last score i got was 2000. The scores vary according to the governor system i set. What's the best governor for big games or generally for games?
If your using your rom that's why. The miui stuff slows it down incredibly. But miui isn't about speed.

Nono i get this score with all roms.
A user of xda with my rom have got up to 2000 on quadrant score.
Mmmm... I'll try Cyanogenmod-7.1-KANG. I remember that is one of the best rom i have tryed.

Yes, overclocking MOST DEFINITELY fault your processor in some way.
And the Prawsome is right: Quadrant scores don't mean anything at all. 0% reliable. You know what the best benchmark is? Your experience
Oh, and the best governor for gaming would be performance.

The Benchmark score is so epic. I think IT has The Same specs like our ace so can somebody maybe Port this to our device.

I just tried it and i have to say that i got as low as 1720 something with quadrant using 480-787 smartass v2 and as low as 1838 using antutu with same cpu settings...
Man, i think that somethings up with that picture! No way our device gets that score!
Also i get an FC when I click brightness setting! I can' t change it!

Anything more to be said?
benchmark score doesnt mean almost nothing
i get 3k on my live with walkman on stock based rom with stock kernel
and it doesnt lag
better yet its buttery smooth
EDIT:
forgot to say that score is without sd card (i dont have 500mb free ]
So I got Samsung stock Rom I don't remember exactly and when I ran quadrant benchmark I got score like 6k the most of the score was the I/o
But now I installed check sum hd v4 and syhan kernel now my cpu score is high but the I/o is low
You forgot the question? Which is?

quadrant scores are nothing, they are obsolete. as long as you have smooth ui and bug free you are good to use it
After I installed evo check sum hd v4 the ui is much faster and more smooth battery is more good
But I'm just wondering why after I installed the custom Rom the I/o is low

Yes?
They score my device I should care of it ??
The thing to remember about benchmarks is that while they "test" performance in various categories all they are really doing are arbitrary calculations testing how well your device performs running that specific benchmark software. Extrapolating these scores to real world performance is often quite useless and inaccurate. Don't place too much stock on benchmark scores and just feel for yourself if certain roms/kernels feel laggier or faster.

Add to the post above that Quadrant is useless .
Benchmarks vary from one run to another .
One of 9000 followed by one of 12200 is a non reliable benchmarking tool .

Hello all!
I hope some of you like numbers as much as I do. I thought I should run my handset through a series of benchmarks in order to see just what the dev community has unlocked within this device.
Here we go:
Overclocked to 1.72 GHZ - Governor: Performance
Cubed Kernel 1.2.5
Genome ROM v2
BenchmarkPi:
Average of 5 - 337.4 ms
Best of 5 - 224 ms
Linpack:
Average of 5 - 463.059 MFLOPS
Best of 5 - 510.427 MFLOPS
ANTUTU:
Average of 5 - 18396
Best of 5 - 19270
Vellamo:
HTML5 -- 1737
Metal -- 636
Quadrant:
Average of 3 - 8131
Best of 3 - 8364
These results put the Droid DNA well ahead of pretty much all competition for the next few months. I imagine things will get even better once AOSP Roms make their way to this amazing device.
So - does anyone with a higher overclock have any stats? I would be interested in seeing how well this processor scales.
That quadrant seems low. I've gotten 8254 stock unrooted.

The benchmarks usually don't turn on all the cores. At least that's what I think because I turn all my cores on and all on the performance governor and I get around the 9500's at 1.83Ghz.
I've received over 9k quadrant and 500+ linpack with 1.5ghz. Strangely, powersave gave me better scores than performance (stock kernel)
On cubed kernel 1.5ghz performance = 587

Whats the next step in mobile processing? How fast or powerful can they be?

I managed to break the mystical 10k marker on quadrant.
I've been more of a lurker, until now.
Anyway, this is with cores set at 1890x4, performance governor setting. Running senseless ROM.
I'd like to thank everyone on XDA for their work on android.

By the way, while my phone is stable on these settings it drains my battery too fast to be usable. I leave the cores set to 1890, but as long as I don't have the setting on "performance" I actually see decent battery life. My quadrant drops into the upper 9k's though without the governor set to performance.

Cheers for breaking 10k but why is your I/O score so low? (I've got 15k+ on the Note 2) Also was expecting the 3D score to be a lot higher on the DNA, kernel doesn't have support for GPU OC? IMO with those CPU / MEM and tweaking 11000-11500 should easily come

True. I could probably have a done a little more tweaking on the I/O score. The kernel used for this does support GPU OC, but I haven't found a tool that I feel comfortable using to OC the GPU yet. That and probably more realistically: I moved on to conquering other things once I managed the 10k score that was my goal.
