I have a recording problem! Turns out I had to do something weird, because if I insert a ROM internal memory of the phone and restart recovery mode (also if Reboot in normal mode), the Rom has disappeared. Just to stay with things stored in external memory.
I have a couple of roms that if I try to erase the internal memory after restarting remain, but even the Wipe from recovery are made (supposedly) as well and reboot again to be all installed programs.
If I go into Download Mode and flashing with Odin gives me all right and when I restart the previous firmware (I've tried several different firmware) and also clear that the kernel I have tested and it is exactly the same.
I even tried to delete the folders and contents of the mobile from ADB (recovery mode) and restart everything remains as before.
It is as if the phone was always read-only mode.
Mobile data:
Recovery: CWM 5.0.2.6
Firmware: v6 CarbonOcean MikiMod (I9100XXKI9).
Kernel: 2.6.35.14-Siyah-v2.0
I ask you please if you know of someone the same thing happens to send me a link to see I'm not the only one that this happens.
Thank you.

This is a development error, because the failure occurs in a cooked firmware and I might not be the only one with this problem.

This is not a development error, and even if it was one, you should post in the MikiMod thread.
I wish i could offer some helpful piece of advice, but i really cannot understand anything =/ Sorry

My SGS2 init correctly, but i flash the stock rom, kernel or all this, and the mobile not save changes, this remains in the rom MikiMod. If I use Odin in download mode is exactly the same.

maybe you have just flashed the kernel , not the rom via odin, make file is over 300 mb if it is in on,oart.

I tried a lot of times and a lot of ways to install this ROM on my ACRO S device, however, I always get Gapps stop working error, no statusbar, black screen backgroud and Google Services Framework has stopped error. This ROM totally cannot be used! Although I tested SD card can be used on this ROM. Do we have someone can use this ROM normally?

You have the same issue just like me? I remember you posted a tread which said you can use this ROM V1 normally right?

Hi this is my first post sorry I couldn't post to the developer directly because I am a noob and this is my first post.
my problem is that after flashing this rom ROM][Official Samsung 4.1.2][STOCK][MODs][Kernel][15-01-2013] I9300ZSEMA1 - CWM
and restored my aps and settings every thing went ok except when I play flash videos the screen doesn't stay on it turns off after few seconds as if nothing is on. I had android 4.0.1 before and that never happened the screen used to stay on all the time the video was on.
any ideas what could be causing this.
thanks and sorry if I break any rules.

Hi all,
I have been searching for months on this forum and google for an answer but am getting no where.
I am trying to test ROMs (developing and existing ones available) before flashing to my phone.
I have the SDK emulator installed, but i cannot seem to get a custom rom running.
I have both Windows and Linux platforms. Linux has the mkfs.yaffs2/unyaffs to create the .img files, but none load.
I download the stock PDA from Sams, and extracted the system.img file, added to the ./android/AVD_FOLDER, and this just hangs on the ANDROID screen.
Can someone please assist? Surely there must be away of testing custom ROMs and Kernels prior to flashing? Or do the uber devs just develop direct on the phone and continually flash the phone?
Wrong section, also I think most Rom cooks here continually re flash.

I appreciate this may be the wrong section, all though would be part of test/development for newbies like myself.
There surely must be away?

You aren't reading correctly, I am saying that read how to categorize your thread into sections.
It is written that if you did not get any answer in that thread, then post in Q&A section
What I am trying to make you realize is that this thread doesn't belong to Development Section.
Nothing more than that
Can any dev assist? Is there away of testing custom Roms on the emulator?

Here is a stock rooted Knox free P600UEUBMK1 ROM.
Its pure stock besides the removal of Knox and the addition of Root.
Flashes in Recovery not Odin!
These links are for version 2. It includes the play store fix already in the ROM.
If you have version 1 you can download the zip in post 2 for the fix. Whatever works best for you!
Mirror 1 - Dev Host: Stock-Root-De-Odex-P600UEUBMK1 Version 2.zip - 1.27 GB
Mirror 2 - Goo.im: Stock-Root-De-Odex-P600UEUBMK1 Version 2.zip - 1.27 GB
Please hit thanks!
And thank you to every one who donated!
I posted version 2 of the ROM with the play store fix embedded.
If you have the initial version of the ROM you can download the attached fix or you can re-download version 2 of the ROM.

Your looking for a stock rooted ROM that you can modify yourself then this is the easiest way to do it.
If your developer, like myself, and dont have the capabilties of making a Stock ROM then you can use this as the base and get started developing.
This is also a good back up ROM to have on you SD Card incase the ROM you are running goes all wonky.
If your looking for any sort of enhancements... Then this is not the ROM for you.

Per your own post: "It is the sm-p601 latest firmware 1.5Gb"
Help is always welcome on XDA, but it needs to be in the right thread. Please be respectful of the OP and the work put in; for things like that, a new thread should be made, especially for a different device/subdevice.
Please direct further questions to PM; lets not fill the OPs thread with OT stuff..

The ROM wont. But putting on recovery and root to make the ROM will. So in essence you would have already tripped Knox counter before you even get to the ROM.
