Hi guys,
How can I change the settings of my home button.
Previously, it went to my ADW EX Launcher home screen. But now, it just goes to the default home screen.
Please advise, thanks!

try Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications -> All -> Launcher -> Clear data.
If it did not resolve your issue, backup ADW launcher settings, uninstall and install it again, after that when you click home it should popup for you to choose between the launchers.

I accidentally made htc sense my default but I like go launcher a little better. How do I make go launcher my default again? I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it but it still doesn't ask me which launcher to use when I hit the home button. Does anyone know how to reset which launcher I want to use.
Thanks.

Home Switcher from the market will do it easily.
Download home switcher from the market. Then you can switch back and forth any time.
Settings-aplications-manage applications....
Find sense and clear data

Go to settings/applications/manage applications/select the 'running' tab @ the top find and select "HTC Sense" then scroll down and click the 'clear defaults' button.
Next time you hit "home" it will ask what you want to use and if you want that program to then be the default

What ROM are you running at the moment or SE firmware?
That can determine if you can get the app drawer back or not?
And, how did you delete it?
Andriod 2.2.1
andriod 2.2.1 cyanogenmod 6.1.1
Or simply reflash or backup apsa on astro and restore.

What launcher are you using bro?
Can you try long press on the dock menu? I think you see there open all apps drawer or something.

I've done this plenty of times, im using adw Launcher so this could be different for other launchers
Long press on your home screen, Launcher actions, then select open/close App Drawer.

i have seen in adw launcher but cannot find open/close appdrawer i have too much games and other data so cannot change my andriod
Easiest way would be to install a different launcher.
I believe you can also add a shortcut of the app drawer.

Thanks, i don't see any option for home key in cm besides the custom long press option and even that didn't work i guess i just have to do a fresh install again.
I'm also having this problem.
download launcher pro, that will give you the option to change the home key default action

I have a US SGP5 using latest Carbon ROM (thank you Meticulus) and the default Launcher3. The Google Search Icon at the top of all home screens is a solid gray bar with no text in it. Is it just me ?? See attached screenshot. Thanks.
Try to go to launcher 3 settings and turn of search bar. Then go to widgets and drag the Google search 4x1 to any place you feel comfortable with.

Thanks, Where might I find launcher 3 settings? It's not in my apps
Try to press the menu button on home screen and on the right go to settings and that should open your launcher 3 settings. If that doesn't work then try to go to your settings:home: and then you should be presented with trebuchet, Google now launcher, or launcher 3 (may just launcher 3 because it determines on the gapps). Then go to launcher 3 and open l3 settings.

Hey Guys,
I have been using the Mate 20 pro for a month now and I was wondering if anyone knows how to activate that option where newly installed applications are sent straight to my screen rather than remain in the drawer until I create a shortcut manually. I cant seem to find the option in the settings.
Thanks
Yes you use Nova launcher, then you can switch it on in the Home Screen Settings section. ?

This settings for Home shortcut is there if you use Drawer home screen style, not Standard. If you use Standard home screen style all newly installed apps go on the Home screen, because there is no drawer.

I'm using Nova launcher, I have this switch off because I arrange all my applications in the drawer in to folders, tools, social, banking ECT. And frequently used apps on the home screen.
