I've got The Wifi with Tasks 3.1 ROM and do not see the update coming through. Anyone else see this? When i look on Market, the Netflix app states Nov 8th as the current version.

same, its not on the market yet.
I think it is on the backend. I just opened up netflix and it was the new interface.
Same here. Looks gorgeous, but laggy as all hell.

I was just poking around and realized I am running 2.3.4 and Im pretty sure the last Market update we got was 2.3.6 on the OG EVO. Can anyone else confirm if their marketis not up to date as well? I also tried all the regular tricks to make it update and got squat
That's the 1st thing I noticed when I was using the phone. With CM7, I had market: 2.3.6, and with the 3D the version I have is: 2.3.4. I went into applications settings to see if I cleared the data it would automatically update after accepting the EULA, I have done that before, but the option to clear data is grayed out and clearing the cache didn't help either. I wonder why we're not getting the latest version of Market. Who else has this issue?
What's the difference?
Is not having the market from 2.3.4 to 2.3.6 an issue?
6>4, that's the difference! I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the actual app, or just the device being new, but the Market itself does not "support" the E3D on the developer side, something that some developers on the Unity forums pointed out:
http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/94...ation-Battleheart-Trial-Extreme-and-Samurai-2
"Sorry to hijack this thread, but it doesn't seem possible to locate Evo3D devices in the market back end?"
"Got the same problem, we had to block it on our Android games so far."

Im wondering if this is why certain apps are not showing. Thats the difference. Plus Im sure there were bugs in 2.3.4 hence the update
Certain apps are not showing because developers can target specific devices not to support now, rather than random hardware specs like it used to be. If the app is not showing up, then the developer selected it as a device that is not supported.
Alright so i tried to search for a answer, but came up empty handed.
The issue is this, i run Sketchbook Mobile and it crashes after a few seconds load time. Normally i would think that its incompatible despite it showing up in the market on the Nook Tab, however the free version (express) runs perfectly fine. So i was wondering if anyone has a solution to this issue? I even went as far as to change the permissions of the APK but to no avail.
I would love to run the full version of the app as paid for it, however i guess i can live with the free version if no fix is available.
Version 1.3.3.0 is working fine for me.
It seems i am running SB 1.3.1, how do i get it to update?
Are you sure? Is this what it says in "About"?
I Can't even open sketchbook it crashes, on launch.

I also had force close issues with 1.3.1, but after uninstalling, and installing 1.3.3 it works fine.

Worked for me! Thanks!
I ended up unistalling the 1.3.1 from the Android Market and purchasing 1.3.3 from Amazon. It was also on sale so only paid 99 cents for it! Wasn't sure I really needed to unistall the other version or if it would just update, but since it just kept crashing I decided to unistall the buggy one first.
I am using a bastardized frankenROM version of Scott's Senseless 2.0 ICS, and I just noticed that I must have deleted YouTube.apk at some point in time accidentally. So I went to the market and looked, and its not there...
I went to a web browser from a PC and went to the market and signed in and tried to send YouTube to my phone from there, but it says YouTube is not compatible with Rezound?? WTF is that about? Has anybody else come across this problem?
I guess I will just use the Honeycomb version from my transformer for now, but weird... I've never seen a Google Inc. made app not appear in the market before.

Why don't you just pull it from the ROM? The reason you're not seeing it is because you're on a Rezound with ICS. This gives the market fits with certain apps because their compatibility is listed for X version to Y version of Android. You're on Z version lol. Oh and if you want I can just post the APK.
I've never run into this problem before and every device I have is running a custom ROM...
No its ok, I have the apk... got it from the ROM like you said. I was just curious if there was an explanation because I've never seen this happen before

Yeah but there was never a huge gap like there is between ICS and GB. Think about it...going from Eclair to Froyo..small gap, some apps didn't work most apps continued to work. Froyo to GB, again some work some didn't.
The new youtube widget is ghey anyways
So I have come across a few apps that say they are not-compatible in the store. Anyone else find any?? Is this a JB thing or a phone just came out thing?
So far I have found: 1weather and Tumblr
Tumblr is killing me. They always take forever to update.
Sent from my HTC DNA
Horn installs and crashes on launch.
Good times.
ChompSMS says that it's not compatible, but if you go to chompsms.com you can just install it from there. It's been working perfectly for me
Basically they let you watch cartoons and anime on your mobile devices. They were great. But a few weeks ago they got updated to version 8.0. Ever since then whenever I try to start the app, it force closes. It didn't do that on the previous 7.8 versions. But unfortunately I can't go back and use those because when u start them, I get a message telling me to update. And there's no option to dismiss the update. So yeah. I'm pretty disappointed over this. I've been missing my shows like dragon ball super and pokemon xyz. I contacted the developers about this with an email three weeks ago and never heard back from them. Does anyone here have a fix for this?
You can get the apps from here.

Update!!
Okay so after weeks of searching, I've found a solution for the app toonmania. You need a modified version of the app. That's at version 7.8 and doesn't check for the update at startup. I found one here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/MovieHDLite/comments/5cqwh6/as_requested_toonmania_v78_adfree_mod_by_ries/
It also removed the ads. It works perfectly. But now I need one for animania. I don't have a reddit account. So I have no way of contacting that person to ask to also create a modified version of animania. Perhaps someone here would be able to?
Also you need version 7.8 of animania if you're going to try to modify it. Because version 8.0 doesn't work at all. You can find that specific version easily by searching google.
Found it!

Thanks byron
This saved me the frustration.
May be there would be modded 8.0 that doesn't crash.

First I've ever heard of these apps, thanks! :highfive:
Oh, you guys are welcome. But you should thank the reddit guy who took the time to modify these.
So any solution for Animania guys?
You can get older versions of those apps from the site Aptoide.
But if install older version than 8.0 after start information for uptade downoload, and cant refuse it
Cartoon app
Have used toonmania. It's pretty good, but not as useful as watch cartoon online. I had that app from apknite. For me, it's even better than 9Anime.
